During our stay, the elevator was not working and there was no one around to offer/help carry your bags up the stairs. I had to carry a large suitcase and then make a second trip carrying my carry on, up four flights of stairs. Then the next day, I had to bring those suitcases back down. They removed a $20 resort fee, offered free breakfast and a drink at the bar. However, in my opinion, carrying the suitcases up that number of flights was not worth the few things they took off! Elevators are a necessity in hotels! If they are not working, having someone offer to help would have been the best solution! They were short staffed and the workers were frazzled.

We were put in a room directly behind the elevator it was difficult to sleep with the noise and dinging (they did provide ear plugs and you will need them) . The bed was comfortable, there was no dresser or place for folded clothes. The bathroom has very little space for your toiletries. The room was unique and nicely decorated to look older. The shower had plenty of pressure. It was a fine stay but I would ask from a room away from the elevator. The parking garage is a block over $33 per day to park. The garage is not owned by the hotel and it is quite dirty and smells just be aware if you bring a car. It is in a great location for the market, downtown shops and ocean Boardwalk. So if you are staying in that general area no need for a car you can walk almost anywhere. We had a good time an enjoyed the convenience of the location. One more unrelated to the hotel but worth mentioning- shops including the market and most restaurants open around 9/10am and close around 5 so you can plan your day around that. Most of the town outside of bars is closed by 9 including most restaurants. One last recommendation in regards to the hotel, ask for an outside room as well otherwise you’re looking at the guests directly accross from you.

The room was super small with no where to put your stuff. All surfaces were already covered with hotel stuff. Ended up using the window sills and jammed suitcase in beside the bed. No one mentioned that the bar/restaurant closes early (3pm?) on Sun and Mon when they handed out free drink tickets. Couldn't' use them. Convenient location though.

The elevator was down our entire stay. The staff was helpful getting bags up and down, but we were given three different timeframes when the repairs were to be done yet nada. Parking was available but confusing. Only one robe provided in room for two. Bed was pressed against the wall so it was hard to get in & out. Great location but very average accommodations.

The floors needed better cleaning, the furniture was pretty banged up and needs replacing. The in room coffee did not work at all. There was only one robe..not two. There was incredibly loud trash compactor noise outside our room every hour or so, all through the night. Yelling and fighting of homeless outside our window all through the night and morning hours. No sleep at all. The food was good but that is the restaurant, not the hotel. Parking should be included. The homeless and drug culture population around the premises of the hotel is overwhelming. We were confronted, harassed, and followed multiple times trying to move between the hotel and parking garage...about three blocks. Our stay was beyond horrible.

Gosh, I usually don't leave hotel reviews, but I had such a MID-experience here that it feels warranted. The location is definitely great, and the restaurant downstairs was quite good, but that's all I can really recommend. It felt like a very rushed "refresh" hotel where new colors were put on the walls and new fixtures were thrown in and they called it w day and opened for business. The color scheme and interior is nice, but the room is very small. My biggest gripe was the incredibly creaky, loud floors. If you have any body above you it will sound like somebody is constantly stomping. The walls seemed to sound-proof voices, but I could hear every footsteps and door opening next door as well. I was awoken several times during my stay and I'm a pretty solid sleeper who enjoys their regular 8+ hours. It also seemed like the cleaning was subpar. I opted for no maid service for the seven days I was there, but there were large corners of the room that looked like they hadn't been dusted in over a month (easy to see on the dark green wall coloring). Lastly, the service just seemed to lack anything genuine. Nothing crazy, but the atmosphere just felt very pedestrian for what should be a nice boutique hotel experience. Overall, a nice location and a solid restaurant, but I'll def be staying somewhere else next time I'm in Seattle.

This property looks great in photos, but it’s in desperate need of a deep cleaning. The carpet had multiple stains, the walls had stains from things being splashed on them, the paint was chipped everywhere, everything had a layer of dust, there were tiny holes in the sheets, the common areas had strong lingering food odors… this hotel just did not feel clean or nice. It felt shabby and overpriced. I wish I’d stayed somewhere else.

The room smelled strongly of animal urine. The smell was suffocating. We asked for a different room but our request was denied. There location is excellent but the street noise frequently disturbed our sleep even with earplugs. One window and one blind were broken. The room was very small. The bed was okay but not as comfortable as even a budget chain hotel.

Mediocre at best. WiFi was worthless. AC barely worked. I called about both and they just apologized. They were out of room coffee pods for at least a couple days. That was probably the most irritating. It’s not too hard to send someone next door to the Target to pick up some replacements. I certainly would have if I’d known their lobby coffee shop wasn’t open until late AM. Loved the lobby, which is why we picked it. We stay in the area regularly but won’t be picking this spot again.

Good spot for Pike place. Interesting hotel. Bed was good. But know that this is for folks not bothered by outside noise, a quirky set up (sink not in the bathroom), broken blinds, old school TV set up, a little musty. Really not bad but we'd come from staying in hotel Ballard so quite a difference.

My room was very small and didn't even have a table to set things on or a luggage rack. The layout was strange like a closet made into a room. There was no counter top space at all just a large sink. There was a door to an adjoining room with no lock. It was very noisy you could hear everything from outside like it was right in the room. I wanted to love this hotel because it was so well decorated and had a cool vibe. I did love that it was steps from Pikes Market and the waterfront area. The restaurant was pricey but had good coffee drinks. If I'd had to stay longer than 1 night I would have switched rooms.

Small room with comfortable bed. Clean bathroom and rainfall shower. Nespresso bullet coffee maker was a nice touch. Several of the electric outlets didn’t work so it was a pain managing working outlets. Many rooms have views of walls. We expected more for the price but then again don’t look for any bargains in Seattle. Street dwellers are common. Property owners power wash the sidewalks on Monday.

First want to say it’s a very cute and funky hotel. Staff was very friendly. The price for the room was great. The room was super cute but the lighting and use of space was TERRIBLE. The best lighting is in the bathroom where toilet and shower is but the sink area made it nearly impossible to do my hair and makeup…and my husband had a terrible time trying to put in his contacts. It’s got a large sink basin but zero counter space for makeup or hair tools. They have huge oversized photos leaning on the desk and end tables taking up the very little space available. While I appreciate the artsy decor, it’s not functional for the space. The desk area is a waste of space and should be made into a lighted vanity area so people can see what they are doing. This was my biggest issue. We had a few issues with the room that would have been easy fixes but we didn’t have someone come to fix it because we only stayed one night. The two lamps on end tables would not turn on becase clearly a circuit had been blown. Also our toilet seat fully broke off. Again, easy fixes and normal wear and tear. We stayed in a room that was facing an alley and it was very echoey and loud. Says the rooms are sound proof but this is not true. You can hear the pigeons outside the window and every thing that walked or drove through the alley. The hotel should really consider dual pained windows to reduce city noise. I did enjoy the hotel and location but wouldn’t give it a 9.0.

We booked this hotel after a cruise. The tv was out. The awesome young lady behind the counter tried to help but she wasn’t getting any help from her bosses. Very close to Pikes market. Definitely noisy at night (which didn’t bother us too much but more than we were expecting. Rooms are small and cute. I was surprised when they didn’t try to discount my room or give me a break. This is a cool spot but just ask questions.

This was one of the worst hotel stays I have ever had. I travel often and that is saying something. It starting with the lack of parking The front desk never answered the phone when we checked she did not look up when asked where the parking was she just pointis to a sign with “touchless parking” What it should have said it is careless- go to a lot 3 blocks away. Then when I asked the maid to make up our room she said to ask the front desk- weird but ok.... I did then the man said I had a fifty fifty chance of getting it cleaned What a surprise- didn't happen My favorite part is then they said we had to make 24hr reservation to get your room cleaned Beyond. My partner went to Target to get towels- cause there was none replace Then went to get a coffee in the restaurant- I waited in line &when I got to the front of the line- they said they couldn't make coffee to go. Despite having two barristas Then tried to watch tv or sync up streaming from lap top...nothing and no help from front desk The shower was a dribble not a shower. I went downstairs last night to grab dessert with a friend We got there before 9, placed our order to an audible gasp from the waiter who said they will be closing soon But they weren't yet After ordered we waited 25 mins and there was literally no one in the restaurant. Every interaction with the staff here has been shockingly bad And to the point of ridiculousness We’re now betting on what new ridiculous things we will hear today

The hotel is in a great location, right next to Pike Place Market. You are conveniently located near downtown, public transit, and the waterfront, which is a pleasant walk from the hotel. But for us, what truly sets Palihotel Seattle apart was the staff. Check-in/out was a breeze. At check-in, we received clear instructions for parking and received two drink vouchers. Checking out was so easy; we turned in our keys and were asked if an emailed receipt was okay. I do not need or want anything more than this at checkout. What really stood out was the staff of the Hart and Hunter, the restaurant located within the hotel. We were treated with such kindness and care that it left an impression, and I cannot wait to go back. They really are helpful, pleasant, and accommodating. They are the reason to come back again and again.

The Seattle Pali is alright. I have stayed at many Pali hotels in the west coast and I would say Seattle is my least favorite and one of the more expensive ones. The lack of Valet is annoying for downtown Seattle. There was only one person working on a pretty busy Friday night when I checked in. The vibe is there but the service and hospitality was lacking in comparison to my other experiences at Pali San Francisco, Santa Monica and LA.

Great hotel very convenient to everything we wanted to do for 2 days in Seattle. Steps from Pike Place Market. The front desk and restaurant staff were awesome…helpful & friendly. As with all of downtown Seattle, homeless are around…security officer was posted outside. I’d definitely stay here again!

Convenient location for getting to Pike's Place and the surrounding area. However, did have to deal with the homeless population and tons of scooters out front. Breakfast restaurant was slow and just OK. Asked for a cup of coffee and told they didn't have any? When got a cup 20 minutes later it was cold. Bartender Will was great.

Palihotel is in an excellent location - just steps away from Pike Place, the waterfront and many shops and restaurants. We arrived by Uber and walked everywhere. When we were ready to go to Pier 91 for our cruise, we took a taxi. Both modes of transport were great. We enjoyed most breakfasts onsite which was so delicious! Hannah was our waitress and provided excellent service. Their bartender was amazing! I asked for drinks off the menu and he delivered excellent drinks each time! The front desk attendants were very helpful. Adrienne made sure we had everything we needed. The hotel is beautiful! We also enjoyed relaxing in their charming library/fireplace room. We loved the hotel and service so much that we rebooked rooms after returning from our cruise.
