Friend and I checked into a room with two twin beds on the side of the hotel. Room is well maintained and decorated. Hotel is better on the inside than the outside. Beautiful artwork/sculptures in the hallways. Staff helpful and efficient. No alcohol is served in the restaurant up top and/or the hotel in general. Hotel caters to a mixed clientele of Middle Eastern and European guests. You will see women in Western Clothing but you also see women in hijabs (just like everywhere in Istanbul - it's a mix of cultures). Convenient location. Walking distance to several restaurants, cafes's, shops, the port, and the tram (public transport). Hotel feels secure. We felt safe/protected. There is a mosque close by and you will loudly hear the call to prayer. Excellent views of the water and steps from the ferry. ATM/Money Machines located steps from hotel. Again convenient, beautiful charming and a great choice for Istanbul.

This hotel is very conveniently located. The room was tastefully furnished and comfortable. The employees are all very friendly and helpful. The hotel and its lobby are compact, so there is not a large common area for hanging out. We tried the rooftop restaurant for dinner on our arrival but found the food to be less appealing than at the several other restaurants we visited in Istanbul.

Clean, convenient location to everything. Staff was excellent. Would have been nice to have the option for wine or beer on the rooftop. We didn’t utilize this at all because of that and it is a nice rooftop. There is undeveloped property right beside the hotel that hopefully gets developed soon as it is an eyesore to such a nice area. Not the hotels fault, and I would still stay here again.

Location is the key. The Wings hotel is beachfront hotel with walking distance to Tramvay, Galataport Cruise terminal and Promenade, Shopping Mall, endless restaurants. Hotel has own restaurant on a roof terrace with delicios food and great city view. Friendly and helpfull staff. Excellent view on Bosphorus from the window.

Beautiful room, great location, outstanding staff. The only thing I do not recommend is their rooftop restaurant. Went one night and service was incredibly slow. Beautiful location and views but minimal menu especially for drinks.

Fabulous hotel with wonderful views of the Bosphorus. The breakfast on the upper Terrace have beautiful views and the food is excellent. Maybe, my favorite hotel breakfast. Each meal is custom made! The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. It would be my first choice for any future visits to Istanbul. Location is very convenient and hotel is very quiet.

Great place to stay location, staff, and cleanliness wise. There\'s no lounge, gym or spa/pool. There is a rooftop with indoor and outdoor restaurant options. We stayed in a king bed "junior suite" and it was really comfy. It felt like a regular standard room vs a suite though. The windows do a great job of silencing the street noise. I\'d stay here again.

The hotel is in a very strategic location, close to the Galata Bridge, and close to all transport links (ferry, tram and bus). The staff were super friendly and accommodating - always smiling and offering to help make our trip memorable. The room was very clean, spacious and modern with all the amenities that we needed. The breakfast was very generous and there was a lovely view from the terrace. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Really enjoyed staying at The Wings Hotel. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was really good and the view from the restaurant was so nice. Staff was very kind and helpful. I will definitely stay here next time when visiting in Istanbul.

First of all be aware that property doesn’t allow refunds. That should’ve been the biggest red flag from the get go. Another thing is that the restaurant up top doesn’t offer any alcohol drinks. Which is understandable, but I would prefer to know about this before booking. Another upsetting thing was that regular rooms are facing an ongoing construction. Definitely not a 2000$ cad view. The view is pretty depressing. And the only way to improve it is to pay extra 1000$ cad for 5 days. A/C in the room doesn’t cool the room properly. There were several power outages during our short stay. The cover on the bed had some blood stains as well. Shower gel was empty from get go. Coffee pods were used and moldy and stayed in the container of “new” pods. The only good thing was restaurant up top which had very good breakfasts. Out of hotel staff Maryam was very helpful and kind. Overall staff were nice and friendly. Understandably it’s not on them, but policy of non-refundable reservations in 2025 is ridiculous and needs to be changed especially when charging high price for mediocre hotel.

Adoramos o hotel! Equipe atenciosa e sempre querendo ajudar! A localização é perfeita! Dá pra fazer muito coisa a pé, é pertinho da estação do Tram e fica na beira do Bósforo, com uma vista linda! O restaurante no rooftop serve um café da manhã gostoso. O hotel é novo, nosso quarto era espaçoso, confortável e com uma vista linda. A única coisa que faltou atenção da limpeza foi que o vanity kit que estava no banheiro não havia sido trocado, então encontrei um cotonete usado, sujo, dentro da caixinha. Mas de resto, tudo perfeito! É importante saber que não chegam carros até a porta do hotel, mas são 3 mnts de caminhada até a parte onde passam os carros. Não fez a menor falta. Recomendo muito a estadia e ficaria lá novamente!

Utslitte madrasser som var ubehagelig å ligge på. Lite med håndklær på rommet. Håpløs ordning med knapp for å slå av og på grønt lys for roomservice eller ikke. Uklart hvilken innstilling som ga roomservice og noen ganger utebl det. Toalettpapir ble ikke fylt opp. Lav interesse for disse tingene i resepsjonen. Flott utsikt, bra ( og dyr) frokost. Fantastisk beliggenhet, men bor et annet sted neste gang.

Das Hotel ist eigentlich hübsch aber leider dreckig. Aber darauf komme ich noch. Erstmal möchte ich sagen ich habe nicht das Zimmer bekommen was ich tatsächlich gebucht habe. Gebucht habe ich Penthouse Suit Room with Sea View und bekommen habe ich Executive Suite Meerblick. Habe mich beschwert und darauf bestanden aber vergebens, mit Expedia habe ich auch aus der Türkei aus telefoniert aber nicht mal die haben geholfen. Das Zimmer was ich gebucht habe ist teurer gewesen was bekommen habe aber die waren der Meinung das, dass Zimmer viel besser sei aber war leider nicht. Es ist eine Unverschämtheit. Ich bin auch über Expedia enttäuscht und werde nie wieder über Expedia buchen. Diese Reise war das letzte mal. So nun zu der Sauberkeit; wir haben erstmal einen Kaffe bekommen weil unser Zimmer noch nicht fertig war und das obwohl wir viel später als unser einchecken da waren. Da habe ich schon gemerkt das Hotel ist dreckig, weil unser Kaffeelöffel so verdreckt war das wir alles liegengelasssn haben. Im Zimmer war das Bett sehr sehr staubig und einzelne Haare. Im Badezimmer lagen Haare und in der Toilette war noch vom Vorgänger was 😟. Wir haben ihne frühstück gebucht deshalb weis ich nicht wie das Frühstück ist oder war. Die Umgebung totaler Chaos überall Baustelle gegenüber eine Garage auf 5-6 Etagen aber die sah aus als ob ein Erdbeben da war. Naja mehr möchte nicht schreiben aber ich bin sehr enttäuscht und sauer😡

The executive suite rooms have excellent views of the water, spacious bath-tubs and rainfall showers; king size bed and sitting area. Breakfast at the hotel is well worth it!

Good hotel overall. The staff are amazing! The only couple of things that would require attention are: - on each floor, there is an air purifier with a certain scent - the scent is quite intense and I believe a lot of people do not like it, including me. Even the staff does not like it. Would be great to just have a clean air without any smell. - AC didn’t work properly throughout our stay. Staff couldn’t fix it. Maybe a technical department shall evaluate it. Regardless, the stay was very pleasant.

Perfect place: very central next to the hubs of the tramway, walking distance from the Blue Mosque and Haghia Sofia, the bazar and the cisterns and everything important in Istanbul. The staff is amazingly helpful and our room, very comfortable and spacious had a great view on the Bosphorus. Highly recommended hotel.

My recent stay at The Wings Hotel Karakoy was exceptional, making it a highly recommended choice for anyone visiting Istanbul. The hotel was in a great location, close to the underground metro and tram. Walkable to most places too - 30 minutes to most places. Room was spacious and clean. Staff were excellent and the room service was great. The only thing really I can complain about is that there was no hairdryer in the room. However, when we requested one, it was brought immediately by staff. If you are wanting to get a taxi to the airport, book in advance because Istanbul is very busy and it can take between 40-90 minutes to get to the airport and 30 minutes for the taxi to arrive. Just be aware that the rooms are directly next to a minute that goes off at 5;30 every morning! 100% would recommend

The most beautiful hotel in Istanbul. We got the suite with water views and it was well worth it. The room was very big with panoramic windows overlooking the water. There was a big balcony. The room is updated and feels so luxurious. The bathroom is beautiful with a stand-up as well as a tub shower. They had provided plenty of essentials in the room. The bedding was beautiful. It has a very romantic vibe. The hotel staff were very friendly and always available to help. The hotel did charge us for a friend that visited us in the room for 30 minutes. But I guess that’s their policy. We felt a little awkward having to go downstairs and register the guest even though she was only staying for 30 minutes. Also, since the hotel is on the water, it is slightly off from the main street. In order to get public transport/taxi you have to walk 2 minutes to the main street. There also seems to be construction going on in the front of the hotel that was not appealing to sight. The hotel is far from Hagia Sofia, blue mosque and Topkapi palace. It’s located on the European side but is separated from the Sultanahmet area by a bridge. About 35 minute walk to the Blue Mosque. Also, plenty of public transport to get around. The hotel also has a great roof top restaurant with amazing views. The food and sheesha/hookah were also amazing. I would definitely stay there again.

First of all be aware that property doesn’t allow refunds. That should’ve been the biggest red flag from the get go. Another thing is that the restaurant up top doesn’t offer any alcohol drinks. Which is understandable, but I would prefer to know about this before booking. Another upsetting thing was that regular rooms are facing an ongoing construction. Definitely not a 2000$ cad view. The view is pretty depressing. And the only way to improve it is to pay extra 1000$ cad for 5 days. A/C in the room doesn’t cool the room properly. There were several power outages during our short stay. The cover on the bed had some blood stains as well. Shower gel was empty from get go. Coffee pods were used and moldy and stayed in the container of “new” pods. The only good thing was restaurant up top which had very good breakfasts. Out of hotel staff Maryam was very helpful and kind. Overall staff were nice and friendly. Understandably it’s not on them, but policy of non-refundable reservations in 2025 is ridiculous and needs to be changed especially when charging high price for mediocre hotel.

Overall this is a good boutique hotel in an excellent location. Very near to the ferries and the tram line. The staff were lovely and very helpful. They always ask if everything is ok and will do little jobs like printing stuff off and arranging taxis etc. my only two criticisms of this hotel is that they do not make it clear in their description of the hotel that some of the rooms have the prayer tower literally outside the bedroom window and they are very loud at 6 am! My other criticism is that the bathroom tiles are treacherous when wet both inside and outside the shower and there is no handrail. If you were frail you could easily fall and break something.

Great place to stay location, staff, and cleanliness wise. There\'s no lounge, gym or spa/pool. There is a rooftop with indoor and outdoor restaurant options. We stayed in a king bed "junior suite" and it was really comfy. It felt like a regular standard room vs a suite though. The windows do a great job of silencing the street noise. I\'d stay here again.

Never thought we would travel to Türkiye, but our cruise was departing from Istanbul. We decided to arrive a few days early and check out the city. The hotel is right on the water and about 15 mins from the ports for the cruise ships. The property is nice and clean. But beware that there is no road to the property, so you have to walk with your bags on cobblestone streets to get to the hotel. The staff is amazing!! Shout out to Mert, who was gracious, informative and helpful!! When we were leaving for a cruise, a staff member loaded up our bags and walked us all the way to the port for the cruise!! So impressive!! we will definitely come back to Türkiye and this will be the hotel of our choice!!

Wonderful that they take such care of me from the time I’m at the airport to the shuttle to the hotel to the gentleman meeting my shuttle on the street and walking me and my suitcases to the lobby for check in, then up to my room to show me all of the features and get my luggage stashed. Excellent location, staff is great, always available and willing to provide the best possible service. Rooftop has a wonderful view of the Bosphorus Strait. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. It would be my first choice for any future visits to Istanbul. Location is very convenient and hotel is very quiet.

Utslitte madrasser som var ubehagelig å ligge på. Lite med håndklær på rommet. Håpløs ordning med knapp for å slå av og på grønt lys for roomservice eller ikke. Uklart hvilken innstilling som ga roomservice og noen ganger utebl det. Toalettpapir ble ikke fylt opp. Lav interesse for disse tingene i resepsjonen. Flott utsikt, bra ( og dyr) frokost. The staff is very nice and accommodating, but there were several issues. There is a noisy demolition site immediately across from the hotel, banging and shaking all day long. The staff claimed that coffee is free, but ended up charging us every time we had coffee. They also refused to help us modify the booking, which ended up costing us an extra $500.

Great Hotel, good amenities and access to roof top restaurant. Location is probably the best. Karakoy has so many dining and shopping options we could have stayed there all of our time in Istanbul. It is also next to the ferries to the Asian side, light rail and tour boats, Taksim square etc. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is in the perfect location for touring Istanbul. It is on the water with no noisy traffic to annoy you and keep you awake at night. Easy walk to the Tram system (easy to navigate) to get to the Old City area or up the hill to the Galata Tower and neighborhoods beyond. Staff is very kind, helpful and professional. It is kind of inconvenient that there is a construction site right in front of the hotel which seems to be suspended due to archeological discoveries, limiting access by car and creating confusion among taxi cab drivers. It is not the fault of the hotel but it poses logistical challenges which are compensated by the amazing view of the Bosphorus.

The service at this hotel was exceptional, especially from Mert. The rooms were large and modern. Beds were great. Public transport is right next door. There is currently construction next to the hotel which didn’t bother us, except taxis can not come to the door. Also important to note that this hotel does not serve alcohol, but many bars and restaurants in the area.
The service at this hotel was exceptional, especially from Mert. The rooms were large and modern. Beds were great. Public transport is right next door. There is currently construction next to the hotel which didn’t bother us, except taxis can not come to the door. Also important to note that this hotel does not serve alcohol, but many bars and restaurants in the area.

Overall this is a good boutique hotel in an excellent location. Very near to the ferries and the tram line. The staff were lovely and very helpful. They always ask if everything is ok and will do little jobs like printing stuff off and arranging taxis etc. my only two criticisms of this hotel is that they do not make it clear in their description of the hotel that some of the rooms have the prayer tower literally outside the bedroom window and they are very loud at 6 am! My other criticism is that the bathroom tiles are treacherous when wet both inside and outside the shower and there is no handrail. If you were frail you could easily fall and break something.

Friend and I checked into a room with two twin beds on the side of the hotel. Room is well maintained and decorated. Hotel is better on the inside than the outside. Beautiful artwork/sculptures in the hallways. Staff helpful and efficient. No alcohol is served in the restaurant up top and/or the hotel in general. Hotel caters to a mixed clientele of Middle Eastern and European guests. You will see women in Western Clothing but you also see women in hijabs (just like everywhere in Istanbul - it's a mix of cultures). Convenient location. Walking distance to several restaurants, cafes's, shops, the port, and the tram (public transport). Hotel feels secure. We felt safe/protected. There is a mosque close by and you will loudly hear the call to prayer. Excellent views of the water and steps from the ferry. ATM/Money Machines located steps from hotel. Again convenient, beautiful charming and a great choice for Istanbul.

My recent stay at The Wings Hotel Karakoy was exceptional, making it a highly recommended choice for anyone visiting Istanbul. This hotel is very conveniently located. The room was tastefully furnished and comfortable. The employees are all very friendly and helpful. The hotel and its lobby are compact, so there is not a large common area for hanging out. We tried the rooftop restaurant for dinner on our arrival but found the food to be less appealing than at the several other restaurants we visited in Istanbul.

Clean, convenient location to everything. Staff was excellent. Would have been nice to have the option for wine or beer on the rooftop. We didn’t utilize this at all because of that and it is a nice rooftop. There is undeveloped property right beside the hotel that hopefully gets developed soon as it is an eyesore to such a nice area. Not the hotels fault, and I would still stay here again.

Beautiful room, great location, outstanding staff. The only thing I do not recommend is their rooftop restaurant. Went one night and service was incredibly slow. Beautiful location and views but minimal menu especially for drinks.

Fabulous hotel with wonderful views of the Bosphorus. The breakfast on the upper Terrace have beautiful views and the food is excellent. Maybe, my favorite hotel breakfast. Each meal is custom made! The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. It would be my first choice for any future visits to Istanbul. Location is very convenient and hotel is very quiet.

Adoramos o hotel! Equipe atenciosa e sempre querendo ajudar! A localização é perfeita! Dá pra fazer muito coisa a pé, é pertinho da estação do Tram e fica na beira do Bósforo, com uma vista linda! O restaurante no rooftop serve um café da manhã gostoso. O hotel é novo, nosso quarto era espaçoso, confortável e com uma vista linda. A única coisa que faltou atenção da limpeza foi que o vanity kit que estava no banheiro não havia sido trocado, então encontrei um cotonete usado, sujo, dentro da caixinha. Mas de resto, tudo perfeito! É importante saber que não chegam carros até a porta do hotel, mas são 3 mnts de caminhada até a parte onde passam os carros. Não fez a menor falta. Recomendo muito a estadia e ficaria lá novamente!

I had a truly wonderful experience at this hotel! The location simply couldn’t be better — right next to the metro and ferry connections, making it incredibly easy to explore Istanbul. You can also just step outside and walk to so many amazing restaurants, cafés, and beautiful spots nearby. But what made our stay truly special was the people. Mustafa, the wonderful team at breakfast, our lovely housekeeper, and everyone at reception were absolutely incredible — always kind, attentive, welcoming, and genuinely willing to help. Their warmth made such a difference and made us feel at home from the very beginning. Our room was very comfortable, spotless, and well equipped, and we had perfectly restful nights throughout our stay. The combination of the perfect location, excellent service, and especially the warmth of the entire staff made our experience unforgettable. This hotel truly became our home in Istanbul.
