Really nice hotel located by the Golden Horn, walking distance from Galata and the metro stations. Views from4/5th floors up are almost unabscured - restaurant at the top offers great breakfast and also amazing views. Room was nice and beds comfy - I would stay there again

A lovely hotel, wonderful reception staff, everything needed in the room and a really nice breakfast. A lovely chef made the omelettes and I wanted to thank her for her amazing service and smile. The reception team were very helpful and arranged all our trips. Great value. Expensive wine though. £10 a glass but at least it could be consumed in a lovely bar and restaurant with amazing views.

Das Hotel liegt sehr praktisch direkt an der Galatabrücke, an einer sehr belebten Strasse. Die SchallschutzFenster funktionieren aber gut. Der Blick von der Dachterasse ist super. Das Bett war sehr bequem, das Zimmer und Bad sehr sauber, das Personal immer sehr zuvorkommend. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr vielfältig und lecker. Wir würden immer wieder kommen, Vielen Dank für alles!

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen, sehr sauber und das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vom Restaurant/Frühstücksraum genießt man einen atemberaubenden Blick, unbedingt sollte man in der Skybar abends einen Drink genießen. Das Frühstück ist sehr abwechslungsreich, unzählige Käsesorten, Oliven, Gemüse, Joghurts, Nüsse, gebratene Eier, eine Theke mit Warmspeisen, verschiedenes Gebäck, frisches und getrocknetes Obst, Süßspeisen und vieles mehr. Die Betten waren bequem, das Bad groß genug mit großer Dusche, Mini Duschgel, Shampoo, Bodylotion, Zahnbürste und - paste. Minibar und Theke mit Kaffe/Tee sind ebenso vorhanden. Ich reiste mit einem Sohn und wollte 2 getrennte Betten - dies haben wir leider nicht bekommen. Der Hotelshuttle vom Flughafen funktioniert gut, ist aber 4mal zu teuer wie ein normales Taxi. Daher ein Punkt Abzug. Ich würde sofort wieder kommen.

Stayed at the hotel for 5 days.Very friendly staff. Beautiful clean rooms and bathroom. The location was ideal, close to the tram and the funicular. The Terrace where Breakfast was served had wonderful view facing the Galata bridge. Great location.Close to Galata tower, Galata bridge and Galata port which has lots of dining options. If you want go to Istiklal caddesi the Funicular is the best option which is located right next to Hotel.

Great breakfast. Lots of variety. We were allowed as much specialty drinks as we wished (Turkish coffee, Turkish tea, cappuccino). The service in the lobby was excellent. We got excellent help with directions. The room was a little small but it was fine and clean. Overall a good stay.

Breakfast was very good. Staff was very friendly and genuine. Having a separate living area with a comfortable couch was a nice touch. Both pillows were very hard and inflexible and not very comfortable to sleep on. The shower door would open only half way. Front desk was notified and they alerted their handy man to fix it. We would stay there again.

The Hotel is in a wonderful position, but of course very noisy being in the middle of the city. The Staff were very friendly, but we had a big problem with people wanting to help, and saying "yes" when it very quickly became obvious they did not understand what we had asked. This went through the hotel from front desk to restaurant. I stress they were wanting to help and polite, just our communication in english was amusing, so be patient and smile. The room we booked looked out onto the sea, and the bed and linen was very comfortable. The room, although non-smoking, stunk of cigarettes so the windows need to stay open. The bathroom was well equipped, and the tv had english channels. Internet was fast. Breakfast was very nice each morning, and held in the restaurant on the top level looking out onto the sea and old city. The tram stop is only 100 metres from the Hotel, as is a Ferry stop. I would be happy to stay here again. Thankyou Momento Golden Horn

Ich war seit längerem nicht mehr in so einem tollen saubere.Hotel das Service war 1 A sowas habe ich echt lange nicht mehr gesehen.. Alle Mitarbeiter waren mega freundlich nur am lächeln und hilfsbereit.. Das Hotel ist sehr zentral was ich sehr toll fand direkt in der Nähe Bahn und Taxi stände Zu Eminönü muss man nur über die Brücke laufen man ist sofort da ich bin vom Hotel Mega positiv überrascht und werde nochmal kommen danke für alles

Excellent location for exploring the city, plenty within walking distance and very close to the tram to Sultanahmet and the funicular to Istikal. Rooms are small, but a great choice if you plan to be out in the city most of the time.

Hotel OK - good location. Don't book / pay extra for room with sea view though - did this and i was on 4th floor, all i can see is the building in front of me vs skyline. Called the manager / receptionist to rectify it but the only reason was hotel full booked (guys then dont sell the room) although i see people from 7th floor checking out. Also they dont mind calling you at 11pm (oupsie) to offer taxi service incase you need it for the checkout. 11pm!!!! luckily i was alone and not with my baby, i would be so livid. the only nice thing is the service in restaurant, very smily.

We did not get the room we had booked via Expedia but instead got the correct room type on a lower floor meaning the view out to the bridge was blocked by an old tower blocked across the road. When we asked we need the room we had booked, they said 'hotel fully booked' and no other explanation was given. I had booked this room on the 7th of January and our stay was for 4 nights from 23rd of May 2023!! We feel the hotel gives preference to others and very unfairly treated especially as we had paid the maximum rate as shown on Expedia website. Basically, the photos mis represent what you would get when you get there. Otherwise, the staff are very friendly and courteous. Restaurant on top floor has stunning views looking towards the city and all the mosques but price is a little high for what we ate. This is expected as I assume they charge more as the views out are amazing.

I booked as I was swayed by the fabulous reviews. Very disappointed on arrival by the “sea view” that I had paid extra for. Nothing like the photo which was taken on level 7. Website photos are definitely misleading. Great big old building obstructing the view. Other comments about this have been buried under all the “10/10” reviews. Room was very average and was clean. Location convenient.

Die Lage des MOMENTO Golden ist sehr gut! In der unmittelbaren Umgebung viele kleine Geschäfte und Cafés/Bars/Restaurants. Frühstück im Hotel im 8. Stock mit wunderbarem Blick über den Bosporus. Auch nachts toller Blick auf Topkapi, Blaue Moschee, etc. sehr freundlicher Empfang und Service, sehr hilfreich 👍💪, nicht nur touristisch.

Unfortunately 1 star! We had a great time in Istanbul but on the last morning the staff completely ruined it, giving them only 1 star from us. We recommend arranging airport transfers in advance, not through the hotel as they drop you off! We were dropped off after already 25 minutes at the wrong airport even though we explicitly said it was an hour away (the other airport is an hour away from the hotel). Fortunately, the driver quickly got us through but the hotel asked us to pay an extra €120! A disgrace! A taxi from Sabiha airport to the city centre normally costs between €25-€35, we had already paid €35 to the hotel and they asked for extra money again. We did not accept this, they then asked for €80 and so on. In the end, we only paid the driver an extra €10 because of his quick service. Is scamming the tourists.

The room was nice and clean, a little dark and the hallways were on sensor but they seemed a little delayed as it would often be dark all the way to our room. Proximity to different sites/landmarks was perfect to allow a little walking and leisurely window shopping and exploring. Restaurant for breakfast was always clean with amazing selections, worth the 20Eu to start the day. Staff was very hospitable and reactive when there was an issue or request.

Hotel OK - good location. Don't book / pay extra for room with sea view though - did this and i was on 4th floor, all i can see is the building in front of me vs skyline. Called the manager / receptionist to rectify it but the only reason was hotel full booked (guys then dont sell the room) although i see people from 7th floor checking out. Also they dont mind calling you at 11pm (oupsie) to offer taxi service incase you need it for the checkout. 11pm!!!! luckily i was alone and not with my baby, i would be so livid. the only nice thing is the service in restaurant, very smily.

There are so many options when it comes to Istanbul, but I would choose this one again. It is very convenient to local transportation and the port. The front desk staff went above and beyond during my stay. When I said I preferred two beds they had housekeeping in the room before I even got up there. When I was struggling to get an Uber/taxi the bell hop personally got one for us and struck a deal, so we could get where we needed. They were extremely attentive and responsive. The rooms were awesome and big for a European city. The breakfast was extensive. I also appreciated the elevator had key card security which made me feel much safer. Furthermore, in the bathroom they provided all the basics including a toothbrush and toothpaste kit. would 100% recommend this hotel during a stay in Istanbul.

A lovely hotel, wonderful reception staff, everything needed in the room and a really nice breakfast. A lovely chef made the omelettes and I wanted to thank her for her amazing service and smile. The reception team were very helpful and arranged all our trips. Great value. Expensive wine though. £10 a glass but at least it could be consumed in a lovely bar and restaurant with amazing views.

Great location for getting anywhere Istanbul has to offer. Helpful staff but the housekeeping is hit and miss. You only get 1 bottle of water per room which is a bit stupid. Still it is a good hotel for the price point. Location is top notch, 1 block from the Galata Bridge and Metro Line 1. Plus 50 feet from the Tunnel tram right up to Taksin. Buy one Metro card, load it with some money and pass it around to your party for Metro travel. No need to buy each one a card.

The staff were exceptional particularly at reception. Our plane was delayed upon arrival and they were so helpful when we arrived. Breakfast was really good and the room was extremely comfortable also.

Excellent location for exploring the city, plenty within walking distance and very close to the tram to Sultanahmet and the funicular to Istikal. Rooms are small, but a great choice if you plan to be out in the city most of the time.

We stayed 3 nights and found the hotel was in a great location for public transport, dining and access to popular tourist spots such as Galata Tower and the Spice Market. Breakfast was included with a nice variety. Staff were lovely.

Das Hotel liegt sehr praktisch direkt an der Galatabrücke, an einer sehr belebten Strasse. Die SchallschutzFenster funktionieren aber gut. Der Blick von der Dachterasse ist super. Das Bett war sehr bequem, das Zimmer und Bad sehr sauber, das Personal immer sehr zuvorkommend. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr vielfältig und lecker. Wir würden immer wieder kommen, Vielen Dank für alles!

Stayed at the hotel for 5 days.Very friendly staff. Beautiful clean rooms and bathroom. The location was ideal, close to the tram and the funicular. The Terrace where Breakfast was served had wonderful view facing the Galata bridge. Great location.Close to Galata tower, Galata bridge and Galata port which has lots of dining options. If you want go to Istiklal caddesi the Funicular is the best option which is located right next to Hotel.

Great breakfast. Lots of variety. We were allowed as much specialty drinks as we wished (Turkish coffee, Turkish tea, cappuccino). The service in the lobby was excellent. We got excellent help with directions. The room was a little small but it was fine and clean. Overall a good stay.

I stayed at double tree Hilton hotel in the same trip. With the same price i had a much bigger room on the highest floor and sea view. It had free pool and gym. It was next to the Kadikoy iskele and near the metro station. We had a bath tub in the shower. The wifi in the momento hotel was awful with slow speed. The breakfast was not good and the barista served coffee and milk instead of espresso with milk when you ordered cappuccino. The juices where artificial. And the water bottle was not refilled for the room every day. The staff got a taxi for us and the driver ruined our day with his behavior. I don’t suggest this hotel to anyone else.

The only issue with our stay was the noise from the lifts. They make a banging noise each time the lift moves and is heard all throughout the night. The hotel is perfectly located for all of the sight seeing.
