Property is nice, but maintenance and quality are poor. There was only one operating elevator for the entire hotel, and the staircases were not even an option since they are only for emergency exit to outside, and the temperature was -10. Our bathroom barn door did not close at all, and maintenance left us waiting until 10:30pm at which point the front desk finally offered to move us to a new room. Other issues: phone didn’t work in the room. Parts of shower fixture fell off when used.

CONS: Poorly marked with how to enter hotel lobby. Parking is confusing and they don't have a designated restaurant (although the menu you can order from the bar area looked good). They have no pool - you have to walk some distance to the nearby hotel and use theirs. PROS: Great outdoor sitting area and nice rooms.

Great place to stay if visiting CU. Only a 5 min drive and lots of places to eat and shop within walking distance. Helpful staff, keep in mind the pool is on the Embassy suites side and no towels.

Really enjoyed the stay here. Overall, a very nice hotel with some fun little unique aspects that really set it apart. Was a little disappointed by how small the gym was and it caught me offguard that we had to pay $22 a night for parking. During our stay in April, the pool was also closed down something if we had known we would not have booked the hotel because my daughter enjoys hotel swimming :-) Also no free continental breakfast.

Fine stay. Beds are very comfortable. Clean and Newer hotel. Easy parking (but be prepared to pay $24/night which is a lot). Breakfast is $18 for a buffet - feel like that should be included like it is when you stay at a Hyatt Place. Good and convenient location. Bar not open so you had to go across to the Embassy Suites if you wanted a drink.

The carpet in the room appeared quite unclean, and there was mold present in the shower. As a party of four, we consistently received only three towels from housekeeping, and body wash bottle was empty. I had to visit the lobby daily to request additional towels. On our final day, although check-out was scheduled for 11 a.m., housekeeping knocked at 8 a.m. and entered the room before we could even get out of bed. This suggests a lack of communication between the reservations and housekeeping departments.

Black hair in the shower, we only had them clean the room once and when they did they didn’t change the sheets; front desk couldn’t tell us information about room service or where the menu was; so disappointing since we are Hilton Diamond members.

Rooms were gross. Food found on floors, stains on mattress and floors in two rooms. The second room was even more dirty than the first. With mold and dirt on the floor where the ac units were. I had a serious fear that bed bugs were going to come home with us. So we never unpacked tried a second room that was even worse and left. I wont be returning in the future. If the cleanliness of the room is not your first priority than i will say the historical value of the building and overall up keep in the lobby was fine. Howvever in my opinion the rooms need to be seriously updated, and freshened up.

Pretty disappointed in this stay. The room was filthy and run down even though the hotel has attempted a remodel. For example, there were sweat stained sheets (gross!) and the floor of the shower was chipped so bad it just about sliced my foot. I would not stay here again.

The tv remote had chocolate or something on it as well. As soon as I got to my room I waited until room service was available which I was told at five and the website was down because it kept saying shift was closed and to call front desk. I called the front desk three times and was hung up on every time. At this point I went to front desk and complained about the cleanliness and room service the man said sorry we don’t do refunds which I didn’t bring up in conversation and he was extremely unhelpful. The only good experience I had with staff was the bartender.

Our room was 305. There is a water pipe that runs 24/7 and is loud enough to keep us up at night. Also the room is not clean. Look in the bathroomand you can see the wallpaper and sheetrock is in poor condition. Also there is a lot of dirt and floor sweepings built up in every corner. We stayed at the Hyatt Garden last time and I think we would go back there rather than stay at the Hilton Garden.

Very small room, clock didn't work, ice machine didn't work, dark closet, no night lights, bath door squashed fingers, no cups except two with the coffee maker, no general hotel information (amenities, safety, etc.) in the room except totally unsatisfactory information from a QR code, inadequate exit signs in the garage, decor was tacky and/or depressing. Not Hilton quality!

The room was clean, and the staff were friendly; however, the extractor fan was quite loud, which affected my sleep. Unfortunately, the extractor fan could not be turned off, and the maintenance staff indicated that a different room would likely not be any quieter.

The hotel was clean and offered a unique inviting charm. The staff were friendly. However, what mattered most was comfort, like adequate heating which this hotel did not provide. Either the thermostat was not working or the hotel had it set so guest could not adjust it. Also, the internet was inconsistent.

Visiting Denver for the first time with my four sisters from across the States, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet, and the front desk staff were very helpful, making sure our stay was a pleasant one. The only area for improvement is the garage gate. After scanning my room key, the gate opened but closed immediately before my car passed. It was a bit nerve-wracking, as you have to pull very close to the gate for it to sense the car. I noticed many drivers struggled with this, so hopefully it can be adjusted for future guests. Overall, a great stay with only a minor hiccup.

Shower door was broke. They sent someone up to fix it. It's fine after that. Low water pressure in bathroom sink. Not enough lighting in the closet where the security box was. No amenities in the bathroom.

There was a barking dogs across the hall from my room and it barked incessantly for the winter time staring at 630 am. then noon, then 4pm then evening. I called 5 times or more to the front desk to complain and obviously nothing was done. The room was wildly overpriced for what it was.. the bedding old, the room cleaning minimal, noisy, will never return. the dog issue was insane. and nothing was done. I really should get s refund for at least one night.

This is the nicest, most comfortable Hilton Garden Inn that I have stayed in. Staff were terrific- they even found superglue to fix my glasses. Definitely return.

From the start, the service was awful, and I will never stay here again. The lady at the front desk was beyond rude. The food was awful and expensive, and the thermostat in our room didn't work. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

The room was roomy, bed was comfy! The shower had good pressure and everything was very clean. The front desk staff was very kind, always gave a hello when we walked by and made our stay very easy and comfortable. They went the extra mile whenever we needed anything. This as a great little hotel! We will look to stay here when in Boulder again.

We had a lovely stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. The staff were so kind and even gave us some robes when I asked. The parking is reasonable and convenient. The location is great as long as you don’t mind walking 20-30 minutes to the main downtown area. The location is great to get in and out of Boulder easily. The pillows and bed were super comfy! I also loved the hydration station on the floor.

The area around the hotel is rundown and does not feel safe. There were no toiletries provided in the room. None of the lights in the room worked other than the bathroom and the bedside table. The walls were not soundproof and I heard the neighbor's TV on late at night and then heard an entire family talking at 7:30am the next morning.

Location was great it was just 15-20 minute walk into downtown Boulder. The room was also very big and spacious for my daughter, wife and I so those were positives. However, under the beds were dirt and dust it looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed before we checked in or during our entire 4 night stay. Also, toilet paper was never refilled so we ran out. Even though hotels.com says it’s breakfast included you still need to pay $17 for each person and $15 for kids. It’s in the small print so be careful of that. I would say it’s a good hotel for work trips or people staying one or two nights but I wouldn’t recommend for families.

The mattresses were old, flat, hard, and impossible to get a good night’s sleep on. That’s the main reason I stay at a Hilton. This place was waaaay below Hilton standards. The breakfast was expensive and limited.
