Beautiful property, nice room especially with the additional bunk bed in our room, good coffee and very relaxing and tranquil property on the river. Nice selection of drinks and snacks in the lodge. Excited to come back in the summer when the pool is open and some of the events are happening.

This was an affordable, alright place to stay for a night. We enjoyed the sauna and lobby, and the staff was very friendly. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean, but old. The door locks really need to be upgraded for safety and my kids were disappointed that the pool was closed. The lack of an ice machine was surprising. Overall it was an ok stay for the price for just a night.

This was a great place! We really enjoyed being tucked back into the woods and foothills of the Rockies. The lodge is old, but they do a good job keeping the bones working. The front desk staff was awesome! The hot tub and sauna were the highlights...nothing like getting out of a hot tub into negative degree weather! Would definitely stay here again!

Cool property only a few minutes outside of boulder. Quick drive into town for a bite to eat. Bathroom was over due to be updated and the shower barely worked. Hot tub was out of service during our stay but we enjoyed the sauna instead. Staff were super nice and helpful.

Turned out to no frills. Meaning no AC, no ice, and no pool. That would’ve ok…at half the price, but $300 a night? And our room smelled like sewer. Would not return or recommend.

Just left and planning my next trip back. Loved the well-crafted experience from the comms, setting by the stream, decor, communal spaces, live music and cozy rooms and interesting people passing through. It was a perfect Boulder experience and my fav stay during my trip to CO. Wish I would have stayed here the whole time! Highly recommend.

The property’s rustic and cute, tucked away in a canyon. The beds were really comfortable. I enjoyed the sauna. The rooms aren’t that well-maintained (mold in the bathroom). They had a big event with maybe a hundred people and a loud DJ late into the evening (couldn’t drown it out, even in our room). It seems like it’s become a place for community events which is great, but not so great for the guests. Some of the amenities they advertised were out of order. It’s unique and has a lot of potential but wasn’t the place for us, especially at the price (over $300/night).

This was a fantastic place to stay. It was clean and quiet. The beds were so comfortable! The staff were all incredibly kind and eager to help. There just happened to be a bluegrass group performing the first night we were there - they were great. A wonderful river runs right through this property. We would love to stay here again, hopefully for a much longer time!

Such a beautiful surprise. The staff is very hospitable, the area is peaceful (there is even a sauna and draft beer), and the room was clean. Boulder is a 15-minute drive, and Nederland is around 30 minutes, so good location imo.

I was so confused. We booked the jacuzzi queen for our 28th anniversary. They canceled the day before our stay, because there were problems with the room. So we rescheduled for a few weeks layer. Because of the occasion we wanted a room with a private hot tub or a jacuzzi. We didn't want a regular room. But they canceled a 2nd time. They offered us another room but we weren't interest. Then they called and offered to comp a regular room. So we said okay. It's an hour drive from our home to Boulder. We got to the room. We were tired. The handrail leading up the stairs was loose and wobbly. Its scared me - I'm an older person and I rely on handrails. The room was nice enough but the bathtub was filthy. It had a grey film. A person couldn't shower in it, and forget taking a bath! I was so confused. The staff is so helpful and kind. Why would they comp us a room with a dirty bathtub? We didn't stay. We went home. I would say, the lodge is nice enough if you are just looking for a place to sleep, but the room itself is not the destination. And bring your own tub cleaner.

We loved our little cabin! It was clean and so comfortable. Our kids loved that they had their own rooms. It was nice to be in the canyon—it’s a beautiful area. The staff were helpful and kind. Thanks so much, we’ll be back!

Bathtub was filthy no cell service WIFI not working I had to switch to another hotel and A lodge had the balls to charge me over a thousand dollars of course EXPEDIA impossible to contact this isn't finished as I still want my money returned. John Kemp

A Lodge was so lovely. We loved how quiet and chill it was, being 8-10 mins out of town. The bed was very comfortable and our room was clean. The only cons I would mention: the rooms don’t have a/c. We didn’t know that beforehand, but it ended up not being a problem. We just opened the windows at night when it cooled down. Also, there was a bit of a musty smell to our room. Overall, we would choose to stay here again.

Gorgeous location in the mountains, but the AC didn’t work, fans they left in the room very loud, window handle broke when we tried to close it, and mattress was bowing to the center.

I liked the location. In the mountains and the trees all around. It was clean and everything worked in the room. I do prefer for the room to be air conditioned. Although it wasn’t bad without it. The fan did make it nice.

Love this place. Lemme get the negs out of the way- no hooks in the bathroom. Curtains allow too much light from exterior decorations to shine on the bed. Did I sleep ok? Yes, but really- do something about this, it is annoying. As for everything else- First, you are staying in Boulder Canyon. It doesn't really get better than that, does it? I have one day in Boulder and this made it perfect. After I checked out, I drove up and down the canyon and got a walk in, too. Absolutely lovely. Coffee was really good, but filters for coffee maker are wrong, so made a mess. Bed was comfy. Place was quiet at night. I could have made better use of the fridge. I wished I had time for some draft pours. If I make it back to the area, I will definitely stay here again. maybe I'll learn fly fishing, too.

Great place to stay. Tucked into the mountains, this place is beautiful. Stayed in a private room and it was exactly what I’d wanted! The one complaint may be that our room had a sunlight which meant I woke up at 5:30. You can’t beat the price! Staff was very friendly and helpful!

Beautiful Lobby and stellar staff, definitely the Boulder vibe and the property has hiking right nearby. If you are a light sleeper/have good hearing know that it's older and you can hear your neighbours TV through the wall like any old school motel so pack earplugs, there is also string lights outside after dark which is a nice vibe but again if you are a sensitive sleeper bring an eye mask. Rooms are older and not luxe by any means but do the trick!

Kate at the front desk, along with the rest of the staff, were PHENOMENAL! I had lots of questions about the area and received amazing recommendations. I felt like they treated me as if we’d been friends our whole lives. One of the best experiences I’ve had traveling. Absolutely LOVE this place.

The hotel staff were incredibly kind and responded to emails quickly. I (female) was traveling with my 17 year old daughter. I wanted a place that was safe and somewhat close to Red Rocks Amphitheater. We had a really late check-in (got there around 1:30 am) and the staff had left instructions on how to get to our room. Even at 1:30 am, it felt very safe there. The room was cozy and the shower was hot (which was great after spending 6 hours in the cold weather!). We left early to head back home but loved the charm of this place and are thinking how we can plan a longer stay there next time we visit Colorado.

A great one night stay in a friendly, clean hostel! All the staff were very helpful and relaxed and gave advice about local hikes and activities. I stayed in the shared hostel dorm, which was basic (as expected) but clean and quiet and the shower was lovely and hot. Sociable atmosphere - able to buy drinks from the bar and meet people around the campfire, who I then headed into Boulder with for the evening. Great access to the canyon trail into Boulder, which is beautiful to run/walk/cycle. Also easy to get to and from Boulder by Uber. There is a local bus but timings never worked with my plans.

Stayed at A-Lodge for a nearby wedding. It was a lot of fun. Fire pits, hot tub, pet friendly, happy hour and coffee in the lobby, WiFi-lots of amenities. Staff and owner were very friendly. Uber will come out there or you can even walk into town along a path. I think it’s about 3 miles. Beds were comfy. Make sure to fluff your pillow. It comes in a square but you can fluff it out to make it bigger. We stayed in a base camp cabin but there are places for tents and a hostel. It was a great spot!

Due to a travel complication I could not make it to the hotel. I called to let them know- they refused to refund my reservation. Policy or not- I was raised that this is not how you treat people. Won’t be using their location in the future.

Looking forward to a quiet Monday night stay, but was first given a room that the lock didn't work and the second room smelled moldy. The neighbors in the room next door started fighting and throwing things at 10pm. There is NO emergency front desk help. Finally, I called 911, the cops came (8 of them!), I listened to that drama. It quieted down until the couple left at 4am. The front desk told me I should have LEFT my room to ring a doorbell to get help from the staff.

Overall, our stay was nice. Quaint property that you feel like you’re really in the mountains. Lots of room to stretch out in the unit. Beautiful setting with great amenities for adventurers. I gave it a poor overall rating because we originally booked for two nights, but due to bad weather, could not make it the first night. We called the morning before we were supposed to check in to let them know we would not be able to make it. Even though we communicated, and weather was out of our control, they did not refund us the first night. So we won’t be staying here again or recommending it to others.

Awesome common area with leather couches, gas fireplace, remodeled bathrooms and friendly staff. You can purchase beer and wine at the counter and the staff was very friendly. The rooms are dated, but nice and spacious.
