Loved the free breakfast in the morning. Also the seating area in the room. It’s nice to have that extra space. Frustrated there was only one elevator working. It took forever to get to and from our room. Not sure why parking is $25 a day when the ramp charges hourly at $1.25. We were out of the ramp 12-14 hours a day and not the value of the $25 for 24 hours. However I should mention that our parking was comped

The Hyatt Place was clean and our room was large and spacious. Location was great. Gym was nice and offered a large variety. Food options were minimal for dinner but breakfast was very good. Staff was friendly and we had fun at the free trivia night in the lobby.

Recommend it for business or family. In a nice developing area of Boulder called Boulder junction. Train station stop is next door. Breakfast is great. Staff is great. Parking garage next to building was my only gripe. It was $25 per day. But not a deal breaker by any means.

Great staff. However, I was disappointed in your "happy hour". It's misleading to say happy hour when only mixed drinks are included. Never heard of that. I felt I was ripped off when I got the bill for the wine I drank. Also, how do you have a mixed drink happy hour, when you don't have vodka? Send someone to Safeway. It's not hard.

I got to my room, changed my clothes. I went to sit on the couch to relax and watch tv. I moved the ottoman so I could sit on the couch and underneath it was someone’s dirty socks. I don’t think the thoroughly cleaned the room.

Charged extra for parking, smells of animals coming through ventilation, beds very uncomfortable! Toe nail clippings on floor of room! The staff was polite! I would have have requested my money back through you but finding a person to speak to proved to difficult! I was dealing with family issues finding different accommodation would only compounded the difficulties I was already dealing with!

My husband and I stayed over the new year holiday weekend for 4 nights. The staff at the hotel are friendly and mostly mean well but the hotel itself has quite a few opportunities. The pillows in our room were hands down the least comfortable pillows I’ve ever used in my entire life. That is no exaggeration, in fact we are pretty sure the built up dander in these pillows over what seems like 10+ years, is what caused my husband to get sick after the second night here, with allergies and sensitivities to his skin where it came in contact with the pillows. They are hard as rocks and just about ruined any chance of getting restful sleep. The hotel ran out of soap day one and didn’t provide any to guests at check in or upon request until staff was informed that the department of health would be notified about it considering the establishment serves breakfast daily and has a fully functioning restaurant as well. Overall, our suggestion is to stay elsewhere. This hotel isn’t even close to pearl street mall and is really quite bare as far as local attractions within easy walking distance. A 1.5 mile walk to Pearl Street Mall. Sure, we saved maybe $100 by staying here due to a lower room cost than other hotels in Boulder, but we surely made up for it in our lackluster experience.

The shower tile needs a good scrub. It has some mold. My particular room had a sound of water flowing in the walls Ann day and night. I think it was the hvac system. Every hour all day and night a big bang from the same hvac system. Woke me up several times throughout the night. I slept horrible in my particular room.

The facility was clean and nice. Best part was the staff who were so friendly, knowledgable, and accommodating at all hours of the night. I was grateful for the breakfast as well. One thing stood out for me that was not great about my stay and that was the comfort of the bed and pillows. The bed was quite hard, but the part that really kept me awake most the night were the terrible pillows. I had four pillows on the bed and one in the coat cabinet and all of them were flat. No amount of fluffing, stuffing, or stacking the pillows could make them support my head in a way I could sleep. I tried laying on the bed without them but the bed was hard. In the middle of the night I got up from the bed and went to sleep on the couch with the couch pillows, which were more comfortable to sleep on than the pillows from the bed. I had terrible sleep that night from the tossing and neck pain. Great staff but flat pillows.

I loved the room itself - large, with a partition between the bed and a comfortable seating area (a large sectional sofa). The bathroom was very nice, and the king-size bed very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again when I am in Boulder.

The room was very nice and the view of the mountains was amazing. My only real complaint is that the room was not comfortable. The couch and bed were very hard and the pillows were quite thin. That said, comfort is subjective. I would definitely stay there again, but ask for better pillows. :)

The distance from the parking garage to the hotel entrance was too far, outside and uncovered as well as difficult to find the first time. It would have been almost physically impossible for my 76 year old mother-in-law by herself. I had to go get the car and drive around to the front of the building. It would have been terrible if it was raining or snowing. The construction in progress across the street was unattractive out of our window as well as noisy and their construction vehicles blocked the street. Someone getting ice out of a machine woke us up at 5:00. The coffee offered in the room was terrible and the staff acting like we were asking for their right arm when we requested cream and sugar. We just wanted to stay in our room and have coffee and relax after traveling. I will say there was a man that gave us bottled water each day that was very nice. (Sorry did not get his name) Just a suggestion- replace the glass bathroom doors, they are very loud, hard to latch and unnecessarily heavy. Something lightweight and easy would be better. It was also my mistake for not looking closer at the map, I thought this closer to Pearl Street Mall or would not have stayed here. I will not be back due to the parking. Especially having to pay $25/day was unreasonable for what your getting. Plenty of other hotels in the area without this added expense.

Overall the hotel was fine. The biggest issue we had was the air/heat unit. It was located on the ceiling and the vent was pointed right at the bed. The room was warm but when we put on the air at night we were freezing. So our sleep was greatly affected.

The hotel had a nice sized, clean room at a very reasonable price. The bathroom was also convenient. The breakfast was above average in quality and food options. While the location was not very close to key areas, a 15 minute drive got me to everywhere I needed to be.

Lobby is very nice and spacious but don’t let it fool you. Poorly designed rooms. Rooms look nice but are way too small. Even sofa area is too tight to get comfortable and not separated from bed at all. Weirdly undersized furniture. No real nightstands, just a shelf. Photos are very misleading. If you are two people with luggage, forget it. Also, they have that ridiculous see-through door between the toilet and the sink. NO microwave! And you are not allowed to use the one in the breakfast area. Good location but not if you’re going to spend any time in the room.

Family-friendly and pet-friendly stay with amazing staff! Every staff member encountered was professional, friendly and caring! Breakfast is a variety of items that change from one day to another and the staff don’t rush to close down the breakfast right at closing time. Parking is not free - $25/garage parking. Will definitely stay again when returning to Boulder!

Our wedding party had 6 plus rooms reserved for no less than 3 nights per room. The cleaning service, we concluded, failed to clean any of our rooms during our individual stays. When I asked if we could waive the parking cost to offset the lack of service, the young gal was rather snotty and kept repeating the same sentence in a mocking tone. She of course passed the buck on to someone else to handle.

Following a mass power outage in Boulder I called around and found a hotel near me where I could sleep, recharge my phone, iPad, etc & just enjoy the simple comfort of electricity. Front desk was so kind checking me in & getting me into my room quickly. My day of departure I called for a late checkout & was kindly extended 2 full hours. The black girl with the blue braids was so friendly & warm. She got me set up with a hot tea & coffee while I waited for my uber. Parking is $25 a night, but since I live close enough to the hotel I just decided to use Uber so I can’t comment on the parking situation. There was also a free breakfast, but I slept right through it. My stay was fantastic, although brief. Thanks to Hyatt & their staff for being an oasis in the outage desert.

It says hotels by Pearl Street. It is not anywhere near the shopping “popular” Pearl St. this is a 35-40min walk. Don’t be confused by this.

The location was most important to us - we were touring CU Boulder and wanted something close (10 min drive). There is a parking structure behind the hotel which is very convenient. The hotel is lovely, huge rooms and relatively quiet... Breakfast was 'okay' nothing to write home about... The only negative is the lack of daily housekeeping which you apparently have to 'request' and I constantly had to call to ask for refills of coffee, new clean mugs and milk as well as small towels which were not in the bathroom when we arrived... a bit disappointing since we stayed 3 nights, I like my room to be cleaned and bed made, items replaced when I'm paying for it!

Nice hotel right on Pearl street. Convenient to all neighboring areas. The RTD Bus stop IS RIGHT BEHIND the hotel. So, there are some "unsavory" characters around there. BUT it is safe and the parking garage is secure.

A single room has a compact layout with decent amenities but it was priced right and in a good location for my stay. I appreciated how much Hyatt was able to include in this room. It's close to a freeway entrance and I found a cool park about 5 minutes away to take a walk. Also a good pub next door for food and libations. Their restaurant wasn't open yet when I checked in. A 7-minute drive to the tourist district.

Our room was comfortable and very quiet (except for a noisy guest in the hallway at midnight). The breakfast buffet was good and the location of the hotel is super convenient to the 28th Street Mall and locations around there. There is also a bike path next to the hotel which you can take in different directions for several miles.

Buildings are under construction all around this block. It’s an active construction zone, with loud construction noise starting at 6:30 a.m. right under the window. Parking lot is not secured, but costs $25 to park. This is a brand new hotel in great condition, so if you don’t mind an unwalkable neighborhood a mile from town, and you’re not sleeping past 6:30 a.m. this might be a good value for you. I mentioned my concerns to staff and the response was dismissive and hostile.

If breakfast is served until 10:00, then steps should be taken to ensure there is still food up to that time. You were out of chicken AND waffles at 9;45. The coffee was out too. And the ice machine outside our door was super loud for a very long time!

Pros: Very clean, nice modern design, i like that there is a pool and gym Staff is VERY nice and very helpful Cons: Parking is not ADA compliant, is not very convenient, AND costs $25 per 24 hr period, nor is there anyone to help with bags Breakfast is not very good at all and costs $11 There are no menus for local restaurants or even a list There is no channel guide in the room Although the hotel advertises a restaurant with a steak and chicken but in fact has no restaurant. They do serve a breakfast, but that is not the same as having a restaurant on the premises.

The continental breakfast every morning was delicious! There were many options, and everything was fresh and at the right temperature. Loved the coffee! The complimentary cookies were a nice touch!
