Great location. Close to campus and Pearl street. Great view from hot tub.

I had a really nice stay, and really appreciated the gym facilities onsite. I wasn't familiar with the area, so it was great to get a run in on the treadmill.

Parking is a little tricky if you don’t valet

New property, very close to the university. Street parking is doable if you don’t want to valet. Great staff.

Outstanding stay for walking to Shakespeare festival in Boulder Colorado. Free parking on the street if you can find it. Or valet parking $40 overnight. Many choices for eating a block away. Totally walkable. We enjoyed listening to the rain storm from a covered outdoor lounge.

Great place to stay in Boulder...short walk to Pearl Street for tons of dining and nightlife options. Gorgeous lobby and bar area. The hotel gym is one of the best I've experienced.

Fun, trendy new hotel. Loved our room. Comfy beds. Loved stash closet. Roof top hot tub and cozy sitting areas fab. Great bar!

Loved the decor, indoor/outdoor open space, check-in at the bar, tasty food, walk to campus, stunning Mountain View’s and super friendly staff. Parking is the only downside if you don’t choose the $40 nightly valet.

There is no pool. It's a large hot tub. I was kind of bummed to find that out on a hot summer day. But besides that disappointment it's a lovely clean place and staff are friendly and helpful. Lack of parking sucks but it's easy to find free street parking nearby. It's a 15 min walk downtown or also easy to grab a local bus to avoid the uphill walk back when it's hot! Overall it was lovely.

The rooms are very small and European style. The lobby is great and spacious. The bathroom needed some attention, shower door was so loud and shower handle was off and on the ground and toilet seat cover was loose and almost off.

Great location if you are visiting CU. Service from staff was excellent however the room i had faced the street and was really loud. Also i had to keep my blinds closed because other rooms could see into my room. I went to use the Hot Tub Saturday morning and found lots of cans, glasses, towels. And other trash in and around the hot tub and was not a welcoming sight.

Great night for our first night in Colorado. We arrived mid evening with nothing as BA lost our luggage. The staff were super helpful in directing us to local clothes outlets for emergency purchases. Hotel was really lovely. Room wasn’t massive but it was spotless and the bathroom was lovely. Would definitely revisit if ever back that way.

The property was clean and quiet. The bedding and mattress were rather uncomfortable. Some staff were really friendly and nice others seemed to just tolerate guests.

Atrocious. I found spots of blood on a blanket (see photo!), which is typical of bedbug infestations, and they just offered to send in housekeeping to change the sheets. When I insisted they give me a different room, they told me the hotel was fully booked. I checked on Expedia, saw that they did actually have vacancy, booked that room, and went to reception: they refused to honor the booking - so if you book on Expedia, they might just choose to not honor your booking, and you'd need to find another room somewhere in Boulder - not a trivial task at 10pm. Anyhow, they sent an "engineer" to look for bedbugs (since when are engineers experts in bedbug searches?), told me I was not allowed to watch or talk to the engineer after, and claimed that he didn't find any evidence of bedbugs (he also didn't find the blood, of which I have pictures, so it clearly wasn't a very thorough search). Anyhow, I changed hotels, and then later found out that they *still* charged me for the extra room I booked even though they didn't honor the booking (I had opted to pay at the property, so this wasn't Expedia's fault). I had to go back there to demand a refund. So, all in all: dirty, unprofessionally managed, and with deplorable integrity. (I won't even get into the fact that the rooms have no fridges, closets, or chairs with cushions that you can actually sit on.)

The vibe of the place is chic and modern, yet it feels so welcoming and cozy. The decor is thoughtfully curated, making the space feel stylish without being over the top. What really stood out was how clean and well-kept everything was—spotless rooms, fresh linens, and common areas that were always immaculate. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making check-in a breeze and offering great recommendations. The location is super convenient, with easy access to local attractions, dining, and transportation. It’s a perfect spot for a quick getaway or a longer stay—relaxing, comfortable, and just a really nice place to unwind. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a hassle-free, clean, and stylish stay!

Easy check in, nice lobby. However, the shower was dirty upon check in.

For the price, I would’ve expected a cleaner tables in the dining area and at least a coffee machine in the bedroom

The hotel is in the running in stage and there are a fair share of problems. I would imagine these will be resolved. Having said that there are virtually no breakfast options. The rooms are cleaned only if you request and wasn’t aware of this. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was very small and they bumped us from the room we reserved to a much smaller room. Rather than 2 Queen Beds we got one Queen bed with a weird loft style bed(almost like a bunk bed) that I hit my head on a couple times. They did give us $50 credit towards food & beverage. There were no luggage stands to put suit cases on. The hotel was perfectly located to the University of Colorado campus and location to everything was great. The bar ran out of Prosecco for Mimosas & ran out of Bloody Mary mix as well on the morning of the big game.

The VALET SERVICE was TERRIBLE - they did not have enough staff and it took FOREVER to both park and get the car on departure. The young people at check in were unreliable in terms of welcoming/informative. Some knew answers to questions, others were clueless. Room was cute and comfortable. Food was decent. Rooms were well-appointed.

This hotel is charming and contemporary, the staff was great, and we enjoyed the lounge and patio areas. It is convenient to the UC-Boulder campus. The only complaint is the very small size of the room. We booked the queen with loft room for my husband, teen daughter and myself and it was very tight. Recommend the room primarily for a single traveler.

Rooms are not super functional

This hotel has a great vibe no doubt at all. The staff was actually the best part of the stay including the front desk and valets. The proximity to the college a major plus! However the rooms a very deceivingly small as to what is pictured. The beds are only queen and super uncomfortable. For the price we paid I would not stay here again for the reason of the room size and bed.

Fun, modern, well-managed hotel in the very center of it all in Boulder across from the CU campus. Perfect place to stay while in town for a football game. The staff was fantastic.

The good: Great location Beautiful place Terrific bar Our room was very cool Staff was nice The bad: Priced like a luxury hotel, but experience was disappointing compared Understaffed. Had to ask multiple times for check-in, linens, towels, housekeeping. Bed that can't compare to luxury hotels. Simple things, like they advertise complementary coffee in the morning. This morning at 7ish am, they had "run out" of coffee. The bartender told me she was sorry, and that she could make me a cup of coffee from the espresso machine. But then she surprised me by charging me for it... In short - when you pay $1000 for two nights for a special occasion, you hope that you are well taken care of and the staff will go above and beyond. Unfortunately, we left like an afterthought, as if we weren't important. And an amazing experience and great service is what we all hope for when we visit top-class properties. This wasn't.

Cool looking property- seems higher end and priced as such. However it’s understaffed. It must be because my phone didn’t work - my toilet exploded and I waited over an hour for someone to come. Had to go down to front desk to tell them - twice. Cuz no phone.. and when I called from cell to front desk no one answered. To add insult no one came to clean it after it got fixed. For the money I expect better. They also need to up their amenities- water in room, q-tips, and a working phone.

Front desk staff, bar staff all wonderful. Rooms clean and well laid out. Loved it!

Everything about this property was incredible other than being checked into a room that I shouldn't have been. I've routinely gotten dirty or unusable rooms across many hotels and after a 12 hour day loading in for an event, I was not impressed to have the same experience again. The layout of the 2nd floor was confusing, so I had to go downstairs to be guided to my room, no maps of course. Upon entering I see a note from HVAC, no sheets, no tv, and a blanket wadded up in the corner. Returned downstairs to get a new room fairly quickly, with the host apologizing and stating the room was flagged in the system but due to technical errors, it keeps coming back in rotation. Of which I want to understand, but a secondary note at the desk would've avoided this consequence because when I returned and repeated the room number, the person that checked me in immediately knew the issue. I was given an additional free drink coin for my trouble. Would've preferred a meal and a manager interaction. The expedia booking shows the King bedroom under the Queen bedroom photos so that was also upsetting and misleading as I expected more space and the only King was booked. Wall signs hard to read with evening sunlight. Bar drinks and food prices were delicious and great! Friendly staff, clean hotel, and nice rooftop hot tub.

Good location to CU, not as many dining options to walk to. Only had valet because street parking is always full.

Great location on the Hill. Lobby and bar are very nice. We had to valet because there was no where else to park and that’s another $40 so keep that in mind.

Great property if you are visiting CU. Campus is right across the street. Bat and open air lobby area with board games was perfect.

The place is really nice, with a charming roof top. However the service was a bit slow. Even though many people worked in the reception and the bar, we had to work a bit to get their attention. All in all though, it is a pleasant hotel with a great location for hiking as well as a short stroll to get downtown.

Moxy is a really hip place to stay in Boulder. The staff is friendly, the bar and all days snacks/bfast type service at bar is great! You will however hear traffic noise at night when you are trying to fall asleep.
