What guests think

Travellers describe Thanburi Hotel as clean, good value, and staffed by friendly, responsive people, with modern, comfortable rooms and a generally quiet atmosphere, plus a location walkable to Central Plaza or UD Town, or a short ride away.

Breakfast is widely praised for taste and pricing, though a few wanted more variety, noted meat‑heavy options for vegetarians, or found it not always self‑serve. Connectivity can be unreliable at times, and some rooms lacked items like a hair dryer or safe, while laundry service availability or charges drew criticism.

Very nice hotel for the price, large rooms with large comfortable bed. Everything worked as it should . Small gym but does the trick in a pinch. Breakfast could use a little more variety but since it was included not a big complaint.

Great hotel in Udon Thani. The staff here is excellent. We had a few issues with the room but they were fixed in no time...very responsive staff. The rooms are very nice, the breakfast is great & you can walk to Central Festival which is the center of town & adjacent to bus terminal. I highly recommend this hotel if your in Udon. Also a nice gym & fish aquarium.

This hotel was a great find. It is well situated being an easy walking distance from the city center and central mall. It is a very clean with large, comfortable rooms that have great A/C. While it is not a flashy place (nor is it in a posh neighborhood) it is perfectly comfortable at a great price. Also there are lots of Aquariums in the lobby with beautiful aquatic life. Be sure to try the little GI 1960 restaurant next door!

It’s clean and relatively new great value for the money a 70 Baht ride by Grab car to Central mall. Was lacking a room safe, or a coffee pot. Laundry service is not always available as apparently there’s only one person handling that at the hotel. All in all, I enjoyed my stay very much.

A pretty decent place to stay - clean, quiet and comfortable. For me the only downsides were the location (it’s not super close to Centara Udon or restaurants, which meant quite a bit of walking in really humid, hot weather) and the breakfast had lots of meat dishes, which I avoided as a vegetarian. But all in all, good value for a night’s sleep!
