Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. In general, the property was well maintained and comfortable. We were in one of the units which they considered deluxe which looked out toward the pool. We were there during off-season so it was not crowded. The unit itself was very spacious. Had plenty of storage for our clothing and anything else we had brought. The kitchen was OK but could’ve used a little more kitchen equipment to make it someplace you could easily cook a dinner. When we got there the heat inside the unit was overwhelming. We chose to leave the bedroom door open and allow the air conditioner in the bedroom to spill into the living area which helped tremendously. During the day, the heat radiating through the roof would literally make the tile floor very warm and then it would radiate heat all night long so it was a constant battle to keep the living area at a comfortable temperature. Other than that, it was a very nice stay. I did use the fitness center once while we were there and again it is adequate and it was nice that they actually had a rack of dumbbells as well as lifetime equipment, such as a treadmill and stationary bike, and one other elliptical exercise machine

Check in/out was a breeze. The restaurant has delicious Indian food and a wonderful flying fish platter. The poolside bar served great frozen drinks. We swam in the pool daily. We stayed in their basic room which includes stove, oven, microwave, fridge and a coffee maker. The a/c unit is in the bedroom which is good for sleeping however a fan to assist in cooling the main room would have been great.

The Europa hotel is an excellent and competitive choice when in holetown Barbados ! This hotel is a hidden gem ! Offers a huge swimming pool area , lovely grounds , wonderful staff , excellent breakfast options and big size rooms with nice cold AC . My favorite take away was the kindness of the staff members! Kelly at the front desk is such an angel , made sure all our expectations of this hotel were met ! Breakfast every morning was fun having Antonia and our lovely conversations ! Keeno was the man , made us some of the best drinks at the bar area , Alicia she is so kind always making sure we ok and willing to help when needed and was a pleasure meeting miss theresa that kept our room clean , very respectful and friendly person ! All these people I mentioned gives joy and add to the atmosphere the beauty of Barbados ! It’s what this beautiful paradise of an island is all about ! LOVE

The room was clean and staff were lovely. However, the property listed online looked a lot different than in person. The resort doesn’t have many amenities to spend a day there comfortably and everything is quite expensive on the property. If you’re looking for a quiet vacation with not much going on then this is the place for you.
