Great location and room size is ample and well maintained. We had an issue with the door lock that could not be fixed while we wete occupying the room(5054). Also, elevator banks are really slowwww.

Service and Staff were terrific. Pool was closed during our stay. That was disappointing They did shuttle to another property. Hot water did not work for our evening showers. Not sure why?! Great location for our stay. Price was high for what you got!

The elevators were extremely slow upon arrival. By the second day 2 of the 3 elevators were out of service. We used the stairs 90% of our stay. Staff was very friendly. The room was clean. The full service spa was good.

This is a beautiful resort and would really recommend a golf course view as this is just spectacular. The rooms are spacious (we had a deluxe King) with a good size bathroom. Storage space for clothes is lacking if you’re staying for more than a couple of nights. Our room was also left unserviced on one day which was strange as we were out most of the day. Breakfast was of a good quality and we had a choice of buffet or menu in our prepaid room rate. The freshly made omelettes were especially nice. We only ate at Beans & Barrel (the cafe) on one occasion as found the choice a bit poor. The restaurant had the same menu and was very quiet each night so we didn’t feel that was worth it. There are a couple of good restaurants close by - Cantina Laredo (modern Mexican) and Aria (Eastern Mediterranean). We did enjoy relaxing in the outside bar terrace each evening though and if you enjoy live music, there’s usually someone singing in the bar area. The pool and whirlpool were also a bonus and despite it being only April, was ok to swim in.

The hotel has it all, golf, swimming pool, spa, two full size bars, a Starbucks, a restaurant, and a unique large area apart from the lobby that has a cozy couch arrangement for a family gathering with a large table off to the side with electric to power up your laptops, study, or play board games. I have never seen anything like it in an hotel and it offered a setting with the comfort of home. Once or twice a week there is entertainment by a singer/ guitarist in the bar area.

The hotel staff were very friendly, the rooms were nice and spacious; clean as well. My only “complaint” is the pool could’ve been a little cleaner, mind you it was the end of March so not necessarily pool season it just needed a little attention with the debris and leaves. Overall me and my kids enjoyed it! Would stay again.

Beautiful property with lots of amenities. Traveled with family and the property was quiet at night making it easy to sleep. Comfy beds & spacious rooms. Pool is big and has a fun water slide and splash pad to keep kids occupied and having fun! Will definitely be back.

We had a serious moth problem in our room. They kept appearing at night in both the bedroom and bathroom. In trying to figure out where they were coming from, we looked behind the beds and were shocked by how dirty it was—clearly it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. To make matters worse, we even found a dead moth stuck to one of the pillows. It was really unpleasant. While the property itself was decent overall, the moth issue and lack of cleanliness were major turn-offs.

When I turned down the shower, it sprayed into the bathroom, hitting me and drenching the whole room before I could turn it off. Housekeeping had left the hand sprayer pointing directly into the room. When I took a shower, there was a hair on the wall. It was not mine. When I left for the evening, I asked them to clean up the water. They assured me they would. It was not done. The bathroom was soaked until I checked out the next morning.

Lobby is beautiful. Room, was outdated and there was a big hole in the carpet in the room. Bathroom floor in room was dirty from the 1st day. Not sure it has been moped in years. On Friday & Saturday night, late in the evening into the morning, loud people off of our balcony talking . Got stuck in the elevator with some people. We had high gopes for this property. On a positive note, the entire staff from the front desknto the restaurant were fantastic. They get a 10 out of 10.

Our room was fine, however the air conditioning vents were very dirty. The room itself was clean for the most part, there was a weird stain on the wall in the bathroom. Housekeeping did try to come into the room 2 hours before checkout, but they were sweet and apologized. The biggest issue for us was even though the view was so pretty looking at the pool from the 3rd floor, the windows have to have been single pane. We heard EVERYTHING from outside; the pool area played loud music that could be hear from our room ALL day. Since we were not going to be there much it was okay, and it shut off about 10:15pm. About 3am, we had to notify the front desk that there was a bunch of people in the pool screaming and being loud. If you get a room that faces the pool be prepared for that.

We got a room on 2nd floor and throughout the stay, there was a strong mildew-like smell in the hallway. My friend and I had to hold our breath when leaving the room and back to the room. We even told the front desk and the smell never went away. Other than that, our stay was great!

Cigarette butts on the balcony! Housekeeping never came to our room. I had to call and ask for towels. Front desk argued and blamed Expedia for making a mistake when I clearly had a receipt showing 2 breakfast included. Pool was disgustingly dirty! I would not stay at this property ever again!

Nice large rooms. If you can’t sleep without air circulating bring a fan. It’s super quiet and it’s hard for me sleep without an AC running or fan. The comforter was super heavy for the hot TX heat. The pool is nice with good service. Pretty good food in the restaurant. It was not cool enough in the room. We had it all the way down to 66 but it must be governed somehow. It was 93-95 outside. I had a terrible night of sleep. Beds are firm which I like. My husband like a softer bed.

Upon arriving at 2:30 am after long 2 days of packing for a big move, we were greeted by night reception scalding us for “not calling in advance” being that we were arriving so late and that it “may have required reservation be re-entered into the system”. I’m sorry…who is customer here?! Then I was told that there are “no late checkout”

We have stayed here a few times now, and can honestly say we have had great service each time we have visited. The staff are always helpful and the hotel is very clean. Had a couple of issues with the safe in the room, and having spoken to reception, they were sorted out very quickly by a friendly staff member. Will certainly visit this hotel again.

Our overall stay was very pleasant. The rooms and service were great, I lowered the rating for service due to my experience during my check out and afterwards. Before check out, I received an email from the hotel's manager asking for feedback. I shared that the hotel was great but that they need to update their website as it advertises activities and lawn games for children which is not accurate. They have a broken connect 4, corn hole and a jenga. My children were disappointed and got a bit bored. The manager responded right away and thanked me for the feedback and offered us 2 nights including taxes to go back and hopefully have a better experience. He suggested to go in June, July or August from Friday to Sunday as they have pool activities for children. I never asked for anything but was pleasantly surprised and impressed with how much they cared about the feedback. I responded the following day asking if some dates were available and no response. It's been a week since the last contact. My rating for this hotel would've been higher if this hadn't happened. It's just very disappointing as I didn't ask for anything, just shared my experience and they didn't meet our expectations yet again.

We had a wonderful weekend at this hotel. There are wonderful amenities to please most people such as a golf course, a lovely spa, delicious food, and friendly employees. It is located close to good shopping and fabulous restaurants at Legacy West. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again!

We absolutely Love this Resort ! Clean , and Staff is Amazing! Safe as well. Walking Distance is short to Restaurants, and lots to choose from. And Bar and Restaurants inside Hotel are fantastic! I have stayed woth Grandkids, and many times as Adult trips . We will be back soon !

Really like d this place. The rooms were clean and big. Very nice, safe and quiet area. The food was good but not great. Westins are always known for their great food. Breakfast was very basic compare to other Westins. That being said this is a resort and not a hotel so I can see why.

The buffet was awesome! The wait staff was very attentive and the omelettes were amazing! The King room was a little underwhelming however .. room was big but it lacked storage for a 4day stay and the lack of a microwave altered a few dining plan although we did see one in the hallway to the dining area . Overall the stay was exceptional! We will be returning!

The room was fantastic. Bed was extra comfortable and the AC held up well. A lot of fixtures are loose and needed adjustment and one of the fire alarm devices was missing a base plate (I design fire systems so it especially bothered me). Parking does get pretty bad at night if you go somewhere and come back late. If you have the money than the restaurant is very good but expect $80+ per person for dinner. Room service is just a smaller menu of the restaurant so if you’re feeling snackish and don’t want a full meal you will have to find somewhere else.

Loved everything about our stay. It was perfect for a couples weekend, but would have also been great for the whole family. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfy. The service was excellent everywhere. The food at the restaurant and the bar tasted great...get the quesadillas. The pool was equally great for both couples and families with kids. Kids will love the slide. Adults will like the poolside drink and food service. Definitely will be back.
