Across recent reviews, Best Western Plus Moosomin Hotel is praised for clean, comfortable rooms and a convenient location just off the Trans Canada, making it a reliable stop for road trippers and families passing through southeastern Saskatchewan.

Service is responsive and helpful, with easy check-in and staff who promptly resolve issues or accommodate room changes. Hot tub - only the bottom jets worked Pool was dirty. My room was right above the pool and the exhaust system was very loud so there was a constant noise all night. Room is dated and tiles in the front entrance are cracked and paint was peeling. Room was clean, bed was fairly comfortable. Would have preferred a variety of pillows as all pillows were too high for my needs. Breakfast was good.

A nice highway hotel but the pool and hot tub were closed when we drove through on July 13, and we had disappointed kids in the car. Just wanted to let travellers know if this is a priority for you book direct with the hotel instead of online like we did to make sure facilities are open. Also there was a sports team staying there who had a party in the lobby that was quite loud until 10 PM, and carried on afterwards with parents. Not to knock a good team event, but the sound carried down the hall to our room and with our young kids made or stay overall not great. If you stay here - try to get an upper floor.

The breakfast area had many flies buzzing around and feeding in the garbage bins, on the food offered in the buffet, and on the food remnants/crumbs on ALL the tables, which were not wiped off (at least at the time I there). Gross and not sanitary. Room had food items left in cupboards from previous guests that had not been cleaned out. For safety, please add a nightlight to the washroom in the room.

The continental breakfast was very nice. The hotel itself is older but okay. However, we could hear every room telephone ring, every sink running, every toilet flush in the rooms above us. The people on the floor above were noisy but staff responded to our concerns, so they can’t be blamed for that, but noise definitely carries in this hotel.

Hotel service was very accommodating. We got in late the night before and our son wanted to run around since he was in a vehicle for 5 hours. This disturbed the guests under us and we asked for a bottom floor so he can still run around, front desk obliged. Would also like to mention that the pool water was a great temperature. Usually we find hotel pools with the water being much colder. If i had anything negative to say it is that the heater in out new room needs to he serviced, it had a loud squeal throughout the night.

It was just a ok stay , we used the hot tub / pool area and after sitting in the hot tub my hands were stained Blue like a Smurf …. I’m guessing the chemical and lie paint had some type of reaction to each other that allowed it to be transferred to my skin, breakfast was just ok not really good …. Juice was warm and machine didn’t mix well, hash browns were cold and spongy .. no bacon only sausage. The food attendant must of walked by the dirty waffle machine 10 times And didn’t care enough to clean it up from a previous guests mess that left burnt on waffle all over the place next time I’ll likely stay at the Canalta!
