Front staff was very friendly. The room was clean and spacious. There was 24/7 coffee and hot water offered in the lobby. The pool was closed off for repair when we were there, so the kids were disappointed, otherwise our stay would have been perfect.

Each time we stay here pool is closed?? Also staff isn't too friendly. Had fire alarm happen during our stay; we were only ones using steps-no staff on each floor to assist guests-no staff at front entrance--didn't feel safe.

The hotel website did not list that the pool was down for repair. Being able to swim in the pool was the reason I chose to book this hotel. Not happy with the website not being updated to reflect the pool was down. I even checked the hotel's website after checking in and it didn't say the pool was down. I went to the hotel's actual site to review before booking.

I liked the close proximity to everything and the rooms were clean and comfortable. However, the room only had two towels for five people and no linens for the pullout couch. Housekeeping never came to empty our trash or offer new bags, towels or toilet paper during our three night stay. We had to retrieve the items from front desk each time and were directed to empty the trash ourselves down the hall. Our room keys didn't work on two separate occasions, which was rather inconvenient when stuck outside of the back of the building or trying to get into our room. The breakfast was as expected, pretty typical and unappealing. Coffee was great, though. I loved the room darkening shades and the pump toiletries in the bathroom. The pool was clean and a great temperature. The manager was nice and very helpful with some reservation issues we had prior to our arrival. Overall, I probably would not stay again but it wasn't a terrible experience, either.

Check-in was smooth and room was clean. However, when I entered the shower, I noticed a huge patch of mold on the curtain. I informed the front-desk while leaving, so that they can address it for others. I was told that the manager will call me within a day, but I never heard from them. I feel it wasn't the right service and overall cleanliness level, especially for the room rate.

Room was not clean, floors were filthy, wifi was not great and barely worked, many of the electric outlets did not work in our room. We had to ask to get our room cleaned and no one ever told us that was the case and the day they did clean it, THEY LEFT OUR DOOR OPEN. A miracle nothing was stolen, that I know of yet! I will NEVER stay her again! Terribly dirty!

Not so good. Housekeeping was terrible. I stayed for a month at this hotel. Housekeeping was never done daily. Once every two weeks. Had to call the front desk and argue about getting housekeeping done daily. They said they could not do it but once a week. Still they didnt do it once a week. Trash was overflowing. Understaff. No fresh towels daily. Bed sheets were done once a week.

We stayed 4 nights, We are typically late leaving our room each day because my wife is a late sleeper and takes time getting rolling. In four nights our room was NEVER cleaned. When I asked a member of the cleaning about 12:30 pm how long we could stay in the room and stll get service she said they weren;t staying late and going home soon, I did get her to come and empty the trash and bring me some coffee fro the Keurig machine. I tipped her and still didn't get service the next day. We paid $161 a night and didn't get service. And the food/breakfast? Don't bother unles you like a small cheese omellet or scrambled eggs...they have a machine that makes pancakes and it was actually pretty good.

We were in bed when a man opened our door. Fortunately we had the latch on and it stopped the door. We called the desk and she admitted giving someone else a card to our room!! No sleeping after that, so the next morning we requested a refund from the GM, Valerie Weber. She brushed it off as no big deal and said four times that “people make mistakes” and that her staff has done this before. Stated that if they would have just looked they could have seen the room was already occupied. Also said she couldn’t do anything to refund us because we used Hotels.com. (Not true - she could have contacted them). So WE had to contact them and she agreed to a $50 refund. Two peoples’ ruined night sleep when traveling the next day is worth $50? This is a safety issue pure and simple. I recommend finding a different hotel that values customers’ safety and their feedback.

We could not get our room serviced or fresh towels. When asked, they claimed to not have any available. The window shade was broken which caused the maintenance people to be in the room with me and my family for nearly an hour after we had traveled for hours and were very exhausted. The toilet paper holder was broken and inconvenient. There were scuff marks all over the walls. On our final day, we were checking out at 4:30am. My husband pulled the car around and was subsequently locked outside in the freezing cold for 15 minutes due to the front desk attendant being unavailable and presumably asleep unable to hear the bell ringing. He had a room key, but it was not working.

I’ve stayed here before and had no problems, this time was different. When I arrived, the receptionist was talking with someone and continued to chat away while I was waiting to check in. When I got to my room, the trash can had not been emptied from the previous occupant. The refrigerator didn’t work. When I went to breakfast, the coffee urns were empty. No one told me that they don’t replace towels unless you explicitly request it. It’s convenient, however, to U of Toledo.

Easy parking, lots of places within walking distance in terms of food and grocery shopping. The zoo is right down the street, the ER in case it is needed, several grocery stores and lots of smaller dining. Overall, we had a good stay. Definitely on the higher priced side which I did not care for, as I have stayed in nicer areas for a lot less per night, but we had to stay there for a soccer tournament. The continental breakfast spread was amazing though! both days we were there, lots of options and hot food.
