Comfort Inn & Suites Toledo North

Something needs to be done... we booked this hotel because it has a pool and I have kids. Well we came down to use the pool and it is closed by management. No eta for when it will be back up and running. While we were down (not swimming) we got locked out of our room because the door lock stopped working. So now we are sitting in the lobby in our swimming suits with no access to our room.

The parking lot was vlean and bety safe. No one loitering or bring suspicious. The hotel was very quiet, very vlesn, smelled fredh. No mold or mildew smells at all. The room was very spacious, very clean, ver comfortable living room set. The layout was very modern and partioned out perfectly. The bed linens were crisp and fresh and i had the best sleep. The bathroom was immaculate. The water was very hot, judt whst you need after an 11hr drive. The amenities were perfect. The only problem we had is that we had no remote for the flat screen tv in the living.

The room was clean. Breakfast was very basic. The pool was so cold it wasn’t enjoyable.

I recently stayed at the Comfort Inn in Toledo, Ohio and unfortunately, my experience was not very good. While the room had the basics and might suffice for a quick overnight stay, I would not choose to stay here again, especially with my family. Upon arrival, I noticed that our roll of toilet paper was almost gone, and there were only three towels provided for a room with two double beds. When I requested additional towels, I was informed that they were running very low and this woudl not be possible. This lack of basic amenities was disappointing. Additionally, the elevator was constantly wet, likely from guests using the pool and entering the elevator without drying off. This made using the elevator uncomfortable and potentially hazardous. Moreover, the hallway consistently smelled like marijuana, which was quite unpleasant and not something I expected to encounter. In addition, the ice machine in our floor was broken. To add to these issues, our room door was ajar when we first arrived, which raised concerns about security and cleanliness. Overall, while the hotel offers the bare essentials, I would recommend looking for other options if you're planning to stay for more than one night or if you're traveling with family.

Property and rooms very clean. Front Desk personnel very friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast area really clean and personnel very friendly and helpful. Did not have a luggage cart and had to make several trips to the car and back to get our things into the room and had to repeat the process when checking out. In town for a bowling tournament and between equipment and luggage had to make four trips each time.

Pool room had a lot going on, the hallway and pool bathroom was a mess, ice machines not functional, no extra towels. But it was a place to rest my head

It was great, pool was nice, food was good. I believe 1 of workers coult have kept their opinions to theirselves since they work there....not the owner. But other wise i would definitely stay there again. We had an issue where i had to call down due to another guest screaming and fighting at 630am and it continued for multiple hours off and on. Never have I ever had to do that before. Bed was comfy, towels was clean and soft. Ac and heat worked. The freezer can hold 2 water bottles. Not big fyi. They have a place where you can do laundry.

Our room stank, there were never any towels at the pool (but there were used towels all over the halls?), stayed three nights but our room was never made up, just really rough and run down. The staff was nice.

The place was quiet. Near shopping. Needed upgrading. Shades had holes in them. Carpeting needed replacing. Sink had scratches in the porclean. Room was clean.

Great staff and clean hotel

COMFORT INN? More like Comfort went OUT the window. The staff was WONDERFUL. The room was horrid. We were there for about 5-10 minutes. Upon arrival, I went to use the bathroom and there was a half-alive roach on the floor by the toilet. Then a few moments later, I noticed a dead bed bug on the wall by the light with blood splattered. Mini blood spots from bedbugs on the curtains. And ANOTHER very much alive roach crawling over the desk/mirror area. I wouldn’t be surprised if all the good reviews were left by the owner themself. I do not recommend, and will not be staying in another Comfort Inn EVER. They thankfully gave us a refund - again staff was great.

The room was absolutely disgusting ! Stains all over the bed, nasty stuff all over the lampshade, could see dripping marks on the wall, bottom of the bed was all torn, had folded up tape to keep dressed from being wobbly. All around just nasty!!!!!!

It was a bed to sleep in and a bathroom to utilize that’s about it. Not very clean, the halls and rooms smelled like mildewed wet dog. Your feet stuck to the floor & the bathroom floors were filthy. The poor guy at the front desk was all by himself and the line was out the door. When we first checked in we were told our room was 305 but it was really 205. Then the next day our keycard deactivated and we had to go wait in the super long line again. Our kids were excited about the pool and it was somewhat nice. The bathroom outside the pool would not shut at all and was off its hinges. We showed up to swim at 9am and it was locked so we went to the desk and he said the pool doesn’t open until 10am we told him that the sign by the pool says it’s open from 8am-10pm & he said he didn’t know what was going on but unlocked it for us anyways. There were dirty towels, bugs, and not a clean towel to be found, it was a mess. I would also recommend that they install a bottle filler by their drinking fountain since the lady at the breakfast bar would not let us fill up our water bottles with their water pitcher because she would have to refill it. Needless to say we will not be back and most likely will not be using Comfort Inns again.

First room they gave me had blood on the mattress cover and old vomit on the floor. I can’t believe they actually tried to pass that off as ready to go. Second room had a door that was messed up and I had to lift up on it to close. It was cleaner but looked rough. Cheap hotel so didn’t have high expectations but did expect better than that.

The room smelled like humidity and the bathroom floor was filthy. The beds smelled like the sheets were not washed and for that reason we only stayed one night instead of 2.

My room was very clean. The staff was professional and responsive.

The staff were friendly and pleasant when greeting in the hallway or the dining area and upon entering the hotel I stayed in a King suite and it was very spacious.

Great staff! Great rooms! Big and spacious. You can hear people walking around in the room above you, but overall no complaints at all!

Friendly staff. Room was comfortable and clean.

The curtains didn’t close so the lights streamed in all night.

Thin walls, can heard people, especially if on bottom floor, otherwise not bad for price.

The room was spacious and we loved the separate living room area.

I got there to be told I was not in their system and there was nothing they could do for me. I showed them my receipt that my credit card was charged and my confirmation number. The guy at the desk made a call then again said there was nothing they could do, I wasn’t in the system. I asked what do I do now, I’m not from here. They just repeated again I was not in their in system and didn’t know, they couldn’t help me. I said well I was charged when do I get my money back. He didn’t know when, I asked to talk to the supervisor and was told they were at home…… I will not be coming back, I went to the hotel right next door to the Marriott on Hagman Road in Toledo. They had excellent service, and were friendly, clean and very helpful! I highly recommend Marriott! Beware of Comfort Inn, very poor Service!

I always research hotels and reviews before staying. This one was definitely a wonderful choice. We didnt check in until 10 pm..the woman that checked us in was very pleasant. The room was very clean and up to date. The breakfast had enough options. The worker handling the breakfast was also very kind and made sure everything stayed stocked. Alot of hotels have a musty odor in the halls. This one did not. The bed was comfortable. We will definitely make this our hotel of choice when we are in the area.

Service was great

Greeter at check in was unfriendly and hard to work with. No remote in my room. Although your hotel advertised breakfast M-F 6-9, at 7:30 there was no breakfast, no one had shown up to serve, so no food… I was on a trip and I planned this hotel because of breakfast. The clerk did not even apologize

The staff was helpful and attentive to our needs. I paid direct compliments to the morning breakfast staff as the ran a very tight ship, nit one crumb out of place. I also got special assistance from a housekeeping staff member that delivered frsh from the dryer towels tomour family im the pool area.

If i needed anything there is plenty of different store options nearby

We stayed from Wednesday to Saturday; the room was clean and smelled good as soon as you entered. Quiet - you can’t hear any of the traffic from the freeway right next to it which is a huge plus! Breakfast was plentiful even at 8:45, 15 minutes before it closed, there were still quite a few options! Did not have a chance to try out the pool, but with how attentive and on top of it the staff were I don’t doubt it was clean! Overall loved it and will absolutely be staying again :)

We checked in and were given the wrong type of room…we booked a king bed with sofa bed and were put in a single queen room but the front desk clerk and her supervisor made it right very quickly. 👍 The room was spacious but the hotel was a bit noisy. Good location near the hwy and walk to fast foods restaurants. Free breakfast was good!

Property itself was nice surroundings were somewhat sketchy. Room was nice and kept.

Close to highway, but you wouldn't know it.

Front desk employee was very efficient and nice. Room was clean and had solid basic amenities: coffee pods, soap, loads of outlets, etc. Breakfast was so-so. My husband said his English muffin tasted sour and the eggs were not really edible. The oatmeal was thick and my apple meh. We got reprimanded for using the water jug to fill our water bottles--there were 3 guests eating breakfast otherwise we wouldn't have done that, didnt seem like a big deal to us but apparently its for guests to only fill glasses, not bottles. There is a water fountain down the hall past the front desk (we didnt see it until after breakfast). Pool looked nice however we did not get to swim during this stay.

Room and hotel was good. Breakfast was a joke. The two men working in the breakfast area- didn’t refill any food even though it was 30 + minutes before it closed. Watched over 5 people check for eggs and sausage. Still not refilled. I heard someone ask about it and watched the “cook” make a face and walk away. Still nothing. If you aren’t eating waffles- don’t expect much

Check in was quick, room was very clean. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast had some variety, and was kept well stocked.

Our room was huge and very quiet. The bed was comfortable and our room and public rooms very clean. My two complaints were that the lobby/breakfast area was stuffy and seemed without air conditioning. The complimentary breakfast was totally inedible.
