This hotel looks good on the website but what you receive is not what is advertised in person. The pool was closed which was one of the primary reasons we chose this hotel with teenagers. The front desk person said this was listed on the website but we did not find this statement. Also found out the the pool has been under maintenance for an undefined period of time. TV's did not work properly in my room or my friends "error message was given for poor antenna connectivity" front desk person tried to help but couldn't fix issue at no fault to her. Other issues included a sink that would not drain others in our group staying on different floors experienced same issue. The rooms have wear in tear and are in need of repair including a door knob that was extremely loose and other damage seen in different spaces; defiantly time for a refurb. Managers are apparently not available on the weekend and after asking for a call back on Monday as of yet have heard nothing. I am not a complainer and like to give praise for a job well done but save your money and go elsewhere until this hotel makes some much needed improvements.

We were in town for a softball tournament and booked a double queen room for our family of 4. We checked in and walked in our assigned room to find it was a King room with a pull out sofa. I call the front desk to be told their end showed a king roo. I went downstairs to show them what I booked and was told they were full and couldnt move us to a double queen room. I called surrounding hotels and they were booked as well so we didnt have much choice but to stay in the room we were given. Our kids slept on the pull out sofa but it was very uncomfortable and definitely not what we paid for. We overheard a conversation at breakfast that someone had a room and the shower didnt work (no bathtub in the room) and when we were checking out there was a guest at the desk who was complaining their air conditioner didnt work in their room. This hotel is in a very busy area of Tyler and leaves a lot to be desired for their guests. Not to mention the pool was closed indefinitely according to a sign on the desk. Mind you, we stayed at this location around this time last year and the pool was down then as well. Im not sure if they have changed management in the last year or what but the pool being closed was the only issue we encountered last year, hece the reason we booked there again but will definitely not be back.

We had a great stay except for the fact that the pool was closed. We understand that this was out of the hotel's control. We will stay again
