No problems at all. Nice and clean hotel in a good location. Indoor pool was great.

Great location for where we needed to be in Tyler. Smooth checkin, clean and comfortable room, mostly quiet, good gym facility, and friendly staff.

Curtains didn't block outside light, dogs barking in rooms, AC didn't work well, room above was noisy all night. The small heated pool was the highlight of the stay.

Absolutely love that the property had veterans parking. The elevator needs servicing. It is a rough ride. Wonderful staff! Thank you for a great stay in Tyler!

Everything was well above average, from the friendly and helpful host to the very nice room to the hot generous breakfast. Elevator remained out of service during my one day stay, but the stairway was open and clean. I will make this my first choice next visit to Tyler.

The employees are amazing! Everyone was so nice. The pool was nice and warm, loved that it was ventilated.

The indoor pool was the main reason we stayed. The pool hot tub was filled in by new owners. The floor surrounding the pool could have been cleaner. The water temp was too warm and the room was very noisy due to the two exhaust fans. The pool was satisfactory overall but I would not pick this property again for the pool.

I liked everything about the property. Easy access to restaurants, malls, supermarkets. The convenience exercise room and laundry room, friendly staff. Definitely plan to stay again.

We were in town for a baseball tournament. We had a great stay for our family of 5.. they loved the indoor pool!

The room was very clean

As soon as we got into our room I instantly regretted booking a room there, the carpet was disgusting there was even a big sticky spot that we put a towel over, we told the guy at the desk, he said they would take care of it in the morning. The next day they asked us if we wanted them to clean it or move to another room, I thought if we move to another room it might be cleaner... Well not only was it not

The area, outside of property, and lobby are great. I walked up and said I needed to check in and the front office guy just stood there and stared at me until I asked him what he needed and he said my name. Then I walked in the room. It was nice, and also clean. Then I went into the bathroom. Oh my!!! It needs an over haul and good cleaning. The paint job was awful, caulk was clumped, discoloration on the baseboards by the shower, the sink had a crack where it was supposed to be caulked to the backside. It was brown and gross looking. The shower was mildew-y! Then I noticed a brown stain on the shower curtain. Not pleased!!! Yuck! Then in the bedroom, there was some glue or something that looked like snot but was dry. I tried to clean it but it wouldn’t come up so I think it was glue. Then I looked in the AC unit. Gross!! All kinds of debris and lots of dust. The breakfast was good. It was clean enough to stay 2 nights but I hated going into the bathroom and near the AC.

We stayed here during our most recent visit to Tyler and it was great. The room was clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff are incredibly friend and personable. The entire grounds are clean and safe. The price was also very reasonable.

The room had an old smokey smell, my toilet wouldn’t flush unless I took the toilet lid off and pulled the chain, and there were roaches! One roach was in the bed! I will never stay here again or recommend anyone to.

Shower was not clean. Sink had hair in it. When told the front desk did nothing about it

There were bugs in the room, the breakfast was terrible nothing was cooked throughly. We checked out and went elsewhere

Hotel was decent. It’s close to a lot of restaurants and shopping centers. The only downfall was that we found a cockroach a day before check out. But other than that it was a decent hotel.

Room was nice big and clean, the AC wasn’t working the best and I’m a hot matured person. Breakfast was on the light side but this is the hotel I stay at everytime I’m visiting family.

Stayed here several times but this particular room had an a/c that just ran nonstop. It didn’t have an auto function. So noisy. Still love the comfy bed, clean room, and good lobby coffee. I’m glad they started breakfast a little earlier too. Very good omelets.

My only complaint is that the shower head didn't work correctly. You could not change the spray pattern...which was messed up when we got there.

The property was nice, however, walls are very thin and the room smelled a bit because of the pool being nearby.

I’ve stayed at La Quintas a lot, and they’re always good stays. Relatively affordable, allow pets, the rooms are always clean and the customer service is great. We did have an issue with our shower head water pressure barely giving us enough to shower, just barely enough. But that was my only complaint about the stay, and I told them about the issue upon checkout so hopefully it will get addressed for the next customer. Over all good

The physical property was very nice. The area was easily accessible, quiet and in a safe location. The building and room furniture were great. My only issue was that the microwave needed to be replaced. It kept shorting out... It would work for 5 seconds and then freeze up. The staff came and attempted to fix it, and got it to work for 5 seconds, so we thought it was good, but as soon as the staff left, it quit working again. So, we resorted to going to the lobby to use the microwave there.

The pillows and bed were very comfortable

The room was clean and generally comfortable and the breakfast was good. My only complaint was with the room temperature. The thermostat was set to 74, but the actual temperature was probably around 65-68. That would have been fine if an extra blanket was available in the room. Unfortunately an extra blanket was not available.

The AC unit a little too loud, other than that Great.

This hotel was clean, quiet, safe, convenient. The a/c was cool. The water was hot. The linens were white. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was mediocre (usually powdered eggs). My only complaint was the refrigerator in the room was not cool enough.

Staff provided outstanding in-person service. Very friendly, quick check-in, and very helpful navigating parking and room location needs.

Tried to give them a second chance and rebook with them, and they was very rude and cancelled my reservation before I could even check in

We actually didn't have an issue with the property itself at all. Our biggest issues were 1. Both times we stayed here the guy who checked us in was very rude to us without cause to be. 2. The second time we stayed here, we chose the pay at the property option, which is spelled out that you don't have to pay until you arrive to check in for your reservation, so you have the option of changing your payment method. I have never before had a problem using this reservation type. We arrived at the property for our reservation at around 9 pm to find that our reservation had been cancelled by the property 3 hours earlier because they attempted to collect payment for the reservation before I had arrived and there wasn't enough on the card on file to do so. They claimed that they tried to call me but I had no missed calls from them or anything. I have worked front desk for a hotel, so I know how some things work. There was absolutely no reason for my card to be run at 6pm. That is something you do if someone doesn't show for a reservation or you haven't heard from them by midnight. We were there by 9pm. We ended up having to pay almost an extra $25 to get another reservation. If we hadn't already paid for a second reservation on Saturday night, we would have went somewhere else. We will not be back.

The breakfast was not hot, it was poor quality and cold and the coffee/coffee area was also unsatisfactory - the morning coffee had run out by 7:45am - the staff didn’t seem to keep a check of it at all and there were a few frustrated customers in line for coffee. The pool area was small with no hot tub.

Front desk man was very helpful when our phone wasn’t working even helped my elderly aunt with the bags

A little hard to find

Excellent stay and nice welcoming staff. It’s located in a busy part of town with many shops. There’s a park not too far of a drive.

This property is conveniently located in a populous area with lots of shopping and dining to choose from. Also safe surroundings are nice!

My dad had a Drs appt. We traveled 2 1/2 hours. Very convenient.

I stayed here 3 times because it’s great. Clean, comfy beds, great coffee, quiet, and good breakfast. I would suggest starting hot breakfast at 6 so I can get some on work days. Also, the clocks in the rooms are several minutes off and that kinda bothers me but I couldn’t figure out how to fix em.

The bed was very comfortable and even though they said they only offer cleaning every 3 days, they came in and changed my towels and made the bed after 2 for a 4 night stay. I appreciated that. The layout is very modern, looks new, not like your typical hotel made in the 1980s with awful wallpaper and dirty carpet. Also, the coffee in the lobby is VERY GOOD! Other places had that fake coffee machine with nasty liquid coffee. Wish there were vending machines on the top floors but other than that, very good stay and l’ll definitely be back.

Nice hotel, especially for the price. We stayed 3 nights and had 2 rooms. The beds were very comfortable. Air conditioning worked great! Breakfast was very good & had a good variety of food items. Overall I would highly recommend La Quinta Tyler (south).
