The pool is lacking which is why there is no picture listed. It's indoor but its open to the cold air as well so i can't imagine swimming in a cold day. The hot tub is filled in with cement and the lighting was very dim. The breakfast was not good at all. It was not being kept up at all. You had to ask for everything because they were out. Nothing had been cleaned or wiped down. There was only one waffle machine. Hotel was clean otherwise and check in was very helpful.

I booked this hotel specifically because it advertised an indoor pool. Nowhere on Expedia or the hotel listing did it state that the pool was closed for construction. When I arrived, the pool area was blocked off and unavailable, which was a major reason for my reservation. On top of that, the property was dirty and inconvenient — the back area was blocked off, and the overall condition did not match what was advertised. I tried to check out right away after seeing this, but the front desk told me I couldn’t cancel or get refunded for the first night, even though I did not stay there. This was extremely disappointing and misleading. I paid for amenities that were not provided, and I feel I should be refunded for at least the first night due to the false advertising and poor condition of the hotel.

It was a place to sleep. The bathtub was dirty in the room. Every morning there was little to no breakfast left between 7am and 8am. The staff lady said she wasn't going to bring out more. The pool is listed as an perk to the hotel....it was filled in with concrete. Had I know that we wouldn't have chosen this hotel.

Very disappointed that the staff did not notify me in advance that the pool was not functioning (NO HEAT). I chose the location because I put up 11 people, with 7 youngsters that were looking forward to the pool.

The sheets had not been changed in out room and when we called the front desk to get new sheets put on he stated he was not able to change the sheet because housekeeping was gone for the day. I stated that that was not satisfactory and he said sorry nothing he could do. We ended up sleeping on top of the covers with a throw blanket from the car.

This place is disgusting!!! I do not know how it has the rating it does. We got to the second floor to our room. The whole floor smelled like a pot party was going on. Got to our room to shower immediately. The tub was so nasty and had hair in it. Went back down stairs to change rooms. Desk guy was not friendly at all. Didn’t apologize and said pop smoking happens frequently like it’s no big deal. Get my new set of keys get everything onto the elevator and head to the third-floor. Keys to our new room don’t work. Go to the front desk for a third time. Again, no apology from the front desk worker. He didn’t say a word to me, took my keys reprogrammed them again and handed them to me. Make it to our room on the third floor it is dirty too. I took pictures of the ceiling which looks like black mold. Once again BEWARE of the reviews. I do not understand why they are as high as they are. I saw a review that the carpet was old and musty and I didn’t think it would be that big of a deal. They really do stink very very bad.

Check in went very smoothly! The room was very clean but the bathroom had some mold. I fighted at my house so I'm not too surprised. The towels hung beautifully in the bathroom! We could hear the people in the room next to us and above us. That was a little bit of a bummer but for the most part, it was a very nice room. I would not avoid it the next time we go through Tyler! Breakfast was your normal Continental breakfast. The eggs were empty and whatever was next to the eggs was gone also. There was sausage so I got that. I'm always a big fan of the Make it yourself waffle maker! Unfortunately, the batter was out also. I did get a cup of coffee and some juice. The pool looked beautiful. The workout room was small but very adequate! They had a nice welcome water at the front but no cups to drink... Not stocked also.

Overall, an excellent stay. Two minor comments: 1) the drain in the tub (room 222) needs to be cleared and 2) housekeeping should be cleaning the TV remotes. My fingers got something sticky on them when I used it, so I cleaned it myself.

The site never mentioned that they were under carpet renovations. Came in room to 1 of towels dirty, the breakfast was trash and nasty; no honey, brown sugar or even hot chocolate. Breakfast ends ant 9:30 and the lady walked by at 9:19 and pulled the warmer plug from the outlet. Our bathroom door smelled of poop! It was all around an unpleasant stay for the price paid. I only booked this hotel because it sleeps 5. I should’ve known it was a cheap franchise when I saw they wouldn’t refund once paid. I would NOT stay here again for the money I paid!

The clerk at the desk was so nice. The room was not as clean as you would think. found a toe nail in the bed and there was mold on the curtain and in the bathroom shower.. overall was not bad.

The room was very big and clean but by the leg of the sleeper sofa was a big hole. I called the front desk to let them know about it and the guy informed me they knew and that they are in the process if remodeling. I dont understand why they didt cover the hole with anything. I took my elderly parents to stay in room with me and was scared one of us would hurt our foot by stepping in it. That to me seemed like they didnt care much of the customers staying and paying for thais room

Booked 2 rooms. 1 room had a hole in floor where sleeper couch was located. The hole went all the way through the floor. Breakfast buffet had ham as meat. Attendant had to be found to fill milk carafe. There was not any fruit but apples. We go often to Tyler for events but will never stay here again. Manager said we could not get any reimbursement because we booked through hotels.com.

All was good for one night. The two things I gave a 4 star was because the room smelled dank and like cigarettes in a non smoking room. Then the AC we had down to 67 didn’t seem to get that cold. Not bad for a nights stay. All kinds of food eateries and shopping in walking distance.

Our stay was great, clean, spacious room and very comfortable. Utilized the fitness area and very convenient location with pretty much everything close by. My only feedback was when I went down for breakfast I assumed that it was available until 10am which was my fault. But at 9:15am the cleaning lady started picking up all utensils and plates from the breakfast area. I did go confirm until what time it was available which again, my fault. But just felt rushed and obvious that she didn’t want me to get anything dirty anymore.

The directv didnt work, staff came in and somewhat fixed it but we only got 3 channels. The sofa bed wasnt good for the kids, all springs. No ice on 2nd floor. Room was clean.

The food was ok. There was eggs that look like the carton kind. Some potatoes and bread. The had waffles but you have to make them and people are slow. The room was mostly clean but the air conditioning sucks. It was so hot and the room didnt cool down for like 4 hours. Didnt get any sleep until 2 am because of the heat.

The housekeeping staff opened our room to let someone in without confirming it was the person's room. They should have told the person to go to the front desk to get a new room key. This is a grave security error for the property. The way the staff just opened the door leads me to believe they have done this before. I reported it to the front desk and asked that the manager call me, but I received no communication from management. Will not be stay there again.

What we liked: 1. We picked this location because breakfast was included. 2. The location was also close to the event we were attending. 3. The lobby smelled great. What we didn't like: 1. The rooms did not smell like the lobby. 2. The available breakfast was low in quantity when we went to the dining area at 8:15am. The eggs seemed undercooked & runny. 3. The wifi printer didn't work as the instructions showed. The desk personnel did not know how to fix it. I could not print my travel documents. 4. The night desk person was unfriendly & not helpful with parking issues.
