Nexstay Grand Hotel & Conference Center

Pictures on the Internet were totally deceiving, not the pool in the pictures, it shows a bar and restaurant, it has neither!!!!! Room didn't have a phone or trash can.

It was awful. Checked out within 30 min of checking in. Property is dilapidated, room smelled moldy, pool was closed down. Trash bins were overflowing. Huge pile of dead tree branches outside our room. Photos are not up to date.

I was charged a $50.00 deposit twice and only refunded one deposit. Now I can't reach a real person to get my money back! The whole property is old and in need of repairs. No breakfast out at 8 am when promised. Pool is GREEN!

Exterior of property was littered and it was clear no regular landscaping was occurring. "Breakfast" was not close to website photos: no fruit, no protein, no baked goods. Only waffles and cereal. Interior was dated and in need of renovation. On the plus side, renovation was ongoing but there was no mention in the reservation or checkin process. Poor management was obvious in many areas: rooms released by housekeeping without regard for obvious cigarette odors; breakfast had to wait due to "grocery run"; trash throughout was left overnight allowing for insects (for sure) and possible "critters"; no manager or owner was at the property during the 24-hour timeframe I was there. More examples will be communicated if owner cares to contact me.

I was speechless when I got to this hotel! Check in went on, but the darkness around the property was concerning. I used the flashlight on my phone to see the sidewalk. Trash was just EVERYWHERE on the grounds. The room, no Kleenex, broken coffee maker, coffee packets, no cups! Duct tape on the shower curtain for the needed repairs. Went to the office after check in, could not find a clerk ANYWHERE! So no drink cups were to be found. I paid a cheap price, and got less than cheap room. It appeared a lot of residents lived here permanently. Oh, security light finally came on after 10:00 pm! Will not stay here ever again!

Either the heater isnt working or there is no hot water to shower (twice now) or there is no soap in the rooms (or at the front desk) or there's no milk for the breakfast cereal or the trash on the grounds is never picked up or the room isn't ready for almost 2 hours after check in time and then it is immediately below a room under loud construction and the staff argues with you about changing to a room away from the noise or the weeds have grown literally 5 feet beyond the fence onto the patio or the laundry room is filthy and the machines dont work....or the mini fridge door wont stay closed/ cold or the ironing board has no cover/pad on it or there's only one dim lamp to light the entire room......take your pick. I will give them this much: the rooms always smell clean. This place is not run by professionals (i know as i've managed two hotels)

There was no ice on the whole complex and breakfast wasn't ready at 7:00 as advised.

I liked the small hotel feel, no breakfast or coffee available, front desk has nice staff, there were a lot of bugs in the room as well as a crack along the seem of the door where someone could look into. Pool was nice, clean, and easily accessible. Affordable so you get what you pay for, $50 refundable deposit pending no damages. It was an average stay overall.

Mold on mattress dirt in every corner and stuff splattered all over the walls looks like it needs a deep cleaning

The "breakfast" was waffles and white toast. Even the cold cereal bins were empty. It was actually quite funny when we asked the attendant if there were other options and she did a Vanna White impersonation pointing to the waffles and bread. The room was dirty in the corners, but at least there were no bedbugs or other critters that we saw. Everything felt damp - the floor, the sheets, all of it. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom, so shower steam just adds to the dampness. Oh - and they only service the rooms every 4 days, although they will restock towels and toilet paper if you ask for them in between. That's on a card at the front desk, although it wasn't pointed out when I checked in. There is deferred maintenance everywhere on the property - hopefully the new owners will make it nice again. For now, the only good thing was the price.

My room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The air-conditioning was wonderful. I liked that there was a refrigerator and a microwave. The water pressure left a lot to be desired and my trash wasn't emptied at all in the five nights I stayed.

I had stayed here before, but it had been a while. Previously, it was just ok, but cheap. Recently I stayed here again. The room was dirty upon check-in, but the beds were made. So apparently the only cleaning they do is to make the beds. It wasn't just grimy buildup from years of use, but also a fresh mess, like muddy boot prints on the floor and squashed bugs in the shower. There was good water pressure in the shower, though, if you didn't mind some 6-legged company. I was standing by the bed and suddenly a giant cockroach jumped on me, and then skittered back under the bed. I can deal with a bug or two, but not if they jump on you! Freaked me out. Anyway, I asked them to clean the room and if they had a can of bug spray that they could spritz around. It's not like I was demanding that they call in an exterminator. Well, they never cleaned the room, the whole 3 days I was there. I was supposed to stay the night again, but checked out early, as I wasn't getting much sleep worrying about a cockroach army defending its territory.

Rooms were dirty. With junk stuck on the walls, paintings and the ceiling. One room the shower had no hot water and the second room the tub didn’t drain at all.Coffee pot had water still in it don’t know how long it was in there. Checked out the next morning. Would have left the first night but was too tired from driving.

This is one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed with filthy dirty, bodily fluids on the wall down the bed hair all over the bathroom. If I hadn’t been exhausted, tired I would not even have stayed stunk. Electrical receptacles are pulled out out of the wall not even a place to plug-in stunk just

This is obviously where the crackheads live. Not an exaggeration, there were literal crackheads on the property. DO NOT be fooled by the pictures and ratings, like I was. The room very obviously had not been cleaned in days, if not weeks! There was hair and dirt all over the bathroom floor, in the tub, and on the bathroom counter. There was a large, unidentifiable oily stain on the drapes and a bloody, squished fly on the wall. One person in our group sat on the bed, and it was wet. The whole room had a foul, dank smell to it. If the room is that gross, imagine what the kitchen looks like! Just, no.

The coffee was horrible and the juice dispenser was only water for all 4 juice options. I get that this is a budget motel, but the breakfast is a joke.

Things were cracked and looked dirty. The beds were comfortable and clean. We ordered food and they didn't bring us utensils and the front desk didn't even have that. It was not as nice as it appeared.

It wasn’t a bad hotel but it was the overall look of the room. Paint chipping, water dripping, door with a bit of a gap to where you could hear everything outside. If you don’t like a weed smell I would not recommend this hotel. Had multiple people outside smoking in their cars (hey I’m not judging, I just hate the smell). I could hear clear conversations through the walls. You do get what you pay for. Overall an okay stay for the amount of money that was spent.

Room was clean, but AC unit did not work and room had been heavily smoked in and was supposed to be non-smoking. Everything in the room was old and falling apart. Breakfast was only a pancake. Staff was efficient with no personality.

The concrete was needing to be swept. Our room, the flooring was loose, sticky, and had an odor. Paper thin walls inside and outside….heard everything. The lady at the desk, very nice. I just felt like I was not safe staying there with my granddaughter. I got what I paid for.

The room was very comfortable and the bedding was NICE! Not the typical hard sheets and paper thin gross blanket you usually find in lesser expensive hotels.

After several less than plesant experiences at this hotel, i am pleseantly surprised with this stay. The room is immaculate and smelled freshly cleaned. Friendly staff at check in. Looks like the new manager has them rounding the corner

Originally booked two nights but only had to stay one. Front desk clerks were very friendly. Good place for a quick reset and rest. Close to restaurants and retail stores. Would stay again.

Checked in and was given a room that was already occupied. Sorry to whoever I walked in on. Room I did get was hardly clean but wasn’t spending much time in the room so went with it. Sometimes cheep hotels surprise you with being clean and comfortable. This was the opposite, guess I got what I paid for.

We had to use the same towels and washcloths for 6 days because there was no housekeeping for our entire stay, despite the fact that I requested new towels from the office 3 times. The room smelled like smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. We had to take our own trash out (per the office). We were told that Housekeeping wasn't scheduled until Sunday even though we were scheduled to check out on Saturday after a 6-night stay at the hotel. I had to go down to the office to request new soaps and shampoos each day. The free breakfast consisted of coffee, bread, cereal, fruit and waffles. There were no other options available such as muffins, bagels or danishes. The staff that we did see were friendly. It appeared that many of the people who were staying at the hotel lived there (i.e., homeless placements).

Started out with terribly long wait just to check in then getting interrupted during check in. The lady helping that person again, while making me wait again. Finally get to the room, it smells terrible, wasn’t very cleanly, and over all just seemed like a cheap sleazy hotel for the price we paid. The pictures posted online were NOT what we got. But I guess it was a place to sleep. The guy next door had his tv blaring all night long. We could hear every word. 6:30 in the morning we are getting ready to go and all I can smell is cigarettes. Open our door and this dude is standing next to our door chain smoking. Which of course sets off my asthma. We get all our stuff loaded and head to grab some breakfast before heading to our son’s races. Mind you this is one of the main reasons I booked this hotel. Because we needed fast and easy breakfast before heading out. 7:18am and No breakfast out other than a basket of apples and a basket of oranges. This forced us to go and trying a find something for our son to eat before getting to the track for his races and causing us to be late. The whole experience was absolutely terrible. We would never stay at this place again nor would we refer any of our friends or family. I don’t ever fill these things out. But that’s how bad our stay with you all was.

Access to shopping that's in walking distance from motel it's very convenient for someone else with no transportation

Room was clean and ok. I didn\'t any cups in the room for two days and no replacements for coffee. I stayed 4 days. The front desk people were nice but there didn\'t seem to be anyone else there to help. Lots of marijuana smoking going on with the guests. I smelled it many times while I was there. I didn\'t feel comfortable with that. No room cleaning in the four days there either. I call it a "basic" clean room and a do it yourself stay.

This is an extended stay and cars were being worked on, people sitting outside smoking, pool parties. No my kink of scene. We didn’t stay and went to another hotel. Not recommended.

The price was very reasonable. The check in and check out process was very easy and quick. The hotel looks and feels old, but the rooms were very spacious and clean. The area around the hotel has several nice breakfast and dining options in a walkable distance. The Rose Garden, the Azalea district and other local attractions are just a 15 - 20 min drive (at the most) from this hotel. We enjoyed out stay.

Upon driving up I was a little hesitant but decided to at least try. Check in was fine but walking the property let me know that this was not the place for me. I went in the room which felt dingy and dirty. There was an odd smell and I just had to check out and take a loss of money.

First day went down for breakfast barely anything out! Was able to make 1 and a half waffles for a family of 5. When i went to front desk was told they was just getting back to things after covid. Took them till now. Wow but then we asked for clean towels didnt get till i went and washed the ones we used. Had to go ask for toliet paper. Never cleaned out room the whole time we was there from thurs. To tuesday. Beds very uncomfortable. Wont stay again here.

Roaches, mice droppings, bugs and ran down. There breakfast is very very limited and rationed. The most you will get is a guaranteed cup of coffee and a waffle. Pictures are not matching the discription of the place at all. This is a last minute option or if your in a bind.
