A bit expensive in my opinion but town was busy and not a lot of availability. A bedside lamp would be nice to have. Had to use the main room light so it’s either full bright or full dark. This is a little treasure. The room was recently renovated and although it was small, it had everything including a kitchenette. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Lots of parking, but very, very steep driveway. Let them know ahead of time what type/size of vehicle you have as they will take that into consideration when you book your room. Lots of restaurants/shopping on the same street. Only a block from the water/sea walk. Two blocks from the ferry terminal. Great for people without a vehicle. About 20 min. walk, up-hill from shopping mall.

The rooms are great, floor was dirty and installed by someone that had no idea what they were doing as the vinyl planks were separated all over the place. Some of the outside areas concerned me. Lack of handrails on most staircases and several dangerous fall hazards which should have guards. The driveway is steep and difficult to navigate. Not recommended for those with small children or elderly needing handrails and guards.

The location and view is nice! It’s ok for 2 nights stay. However, they need to clean the rooms properly. Electricals are substandard. I booked the 2 bedroom family suite. Both two rooms have only one switch for the lights. You cannot use the night light only, it’s all connected together. When turn on the main switch in both rooms every light will turn on as well. It would be nice to put a sturdier sofa bed in the small living room. The electric stove provided doesn’t work properly.

Suite was very clean. Wifi didn't work and staff wasn't around to fix it. Fridge wasn't plugged in presumably to save money. I didn't notice till the morning. Check out was 11 but they kept visiting my room to see if I had left yet. Walked in on me taking a morning nap before a long drive. But it was cheap and clean. You get what you pay for.

Spectacular views. Appreciated having 2 bedrooms and a kitchenette. Great to have nearby restaurant choices. Nice to be able to bring our pet. It was very close to the ferry terminal. Very friendly staff and they took pride in their renovations.

Obviously well cared for small motel. Unfortunately they used cheap materials in the inside renovations so the floors in both rooms we stayed in recently were deteriorating. The staff were very professional and efficient - check in was pleasant and easy. Would definitely stay again.

Room was nice price was decent. The lady running the place is high strung. Had an issue with the lock being sticky which the employee helped me with on one occasion, on the second night the lock came apart when I pulled the key out. Owner was adamant I pay for it.

My husband and I stayed for one night while visiting Powell River. We had our dog with us. The room is clean, the location is close to restaurants / shops. The staff is friendly. We got a pet friendly room and the pet fee is very reasonable, extra $15 which is lower than most places !! It's a 5 min walk from the ferry terminal too which is a plus ! You can also take a nice beach walk since it's close to Willingdon beach.
