When I walked in the hotel looked a little bit like a high-end hostile, but I wasn’t too worried about it being in Hilo. When I went to my room, the door looked like something you would see on a bedroom and it did not have a deadbolt only a lower lock. I saw people walking down the hallway that were drunk and looked a little bit like they might be homeless. The last straw was the cockroaches that were in the bathroom when I turned on the light. After that, I found a new hotel and checked out immediately. Do not recommend.

Good for bare-bones value, great location for walking. No air conditioning in rooms, only fans, it can get a bit warm. Staff is lovely.

Clean comfortable room. It was cooler than I thought it was going to be so I didn’t have any problems. Just keep in mind they don’t have air-conditioning floor fans and ceiling fans. Wasn’t a bad place to stay for the price.
