Beautiful and safe. Friendly staff. Great breakfast and the Turkish Bath was amazing

There’s a lot to be happy with during a stay. The location is excellent, being just off the main shopping street with lots of restaurants shops and a connection to the metro a short walk away. The rooms are slightly small but definitely sufficient, the swimming is a welcome addition to the holiday and we made Daily use of it. The breakfast is ok but we are vegetarian and so our choice is limited. The roof top view of the city and river is great. We booked 2 rooms unfortunately the AC issues in one of those rooms is the only downside, this remained unsolved during our stay. It’s definitely a causal attitude towards customer service. Would I rebook at this hotel - Yes, it’s good value for money.

It was a beautiful hotel with a great breakfast, the only issue is no parking options.

The location is perfect for exploring, there is plenty to do and see in the vicinity of the hotel. Oljiy on reception has been excellent with his tips for getting around to different parts of the city and was always happy to help, my experience was the same with other staff. A few things could be improved, the wifi was slow, the room was small and the gym had a damp odour, but overall it was an enjoyable stay for the price.

Not a great hotel. This shouldn’t be a four star hotel. Not worth it. Lack of amenities in bathroom, mouldy gym with dated/worn equipment. I’d stay clear

The reception staff were excellent, helpful and courteous. The service at the restaurant upstairs on the terrace was not good. When we arrived at the hotel restaurant, the gentleman that met us was aware we only wanted Tea so allowed us in - only to be told by the waiter that they don’t serve tea. We decided to leave but the gentleman that had allowed us in asked why we were leaving, we explained that we have been informed there is no Tea. He was surprised and tried to get us to stay. We explained we are staying at the hotel but shame we can’t even get tea. Not sure why he was surprised to hear we are staying there, he apologised and again tried to get us to stay but we declined. It is impossible they don't serve Turkish tea as it is sold everywhere. Breakfast: I was given a dirty cup, informed them and they replied “I don’t speak English”. I said -you can see it is dirty. The housekeeper knocked to come to clean the room but as I woke up to open for her/let her know I was not ready, she came in quickly and I was not even dressed. I was so embarrassed. The rooms were dusty and require modernisation. Cobwebs behind the bed, white powder on the floor by bedside table and mouldy bathrooms by drainage area. On the upside, the beds are so comfortable, water is hot and plenty of towels etc. Amenities was also good - swimming pool & sauna. Steam room was out of order. Location is great, lots of restaurants around, it is buzzing and has great vibes.

Excellent stay staff are excellent very helpful. Best location, clean, safe, 24 hour controlled air conditioning. amazing restaurant upstairs in the evening and breakfast Is complimentary in the morning. There’s a pool, hamman and much more.

I enjoyed my stay at Grand Hotel de Pera, very reasonable price, very clean rooms, great location one minute walking to Istiklal street, nice breakfast with amazing view, the staff are amazing and very friendly and helpful, special thank you of Olcay, Tarik and Ameer who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable at the hotel. Highly recommended hotel.

The hotel is in a great central location, and the staff were friendly, but the room was not as shown in the photos and was very dirty

Nice location everything is near to you, and very helpful stuff at the hotel. The hotel is very clean. I loved the stay at it a lot.

Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly. But that’s about it. Rooms look bigger on the pictures. Sewer smell in the bathroom. Mold on the walls on the terrace lobby. Breakfast is terrible. Location is great however. It’s below the standards for a 4 star hotel.

Overall the location and the pool made my one night stay pleasant. Hotel is close to two underground stations, and the busy Istiklal Caddesi yet quiet. I stayed in a single room which had what I can only describe as the smallest single bed imaginable, couldn't even turn around and I am a small person. It was more like a child bed. Room could easily have accommodated a small double bed or simply a normal size single bed. Hotel was clean and stylish throughout. The terrace could be so much nicer with small touches. Breakfast had plenty choice but unfortunately not the best quality. Some staff were very welcoming, others looked fed up. Guests could hear the argument coming from kitchen during breakfast. All in all a nice hotel which could be even better with small improvements here and there.

We booked a double standard room and a flat. The hotel is located in a very nice area, 1 minute walking distance from istiklal street. The staff is very helpful and friendly. However, the rooms are too small, it can barely accommodate two persons. For the flat, we were located on the second floor and we couldn’t sleep until 4 am because of loud music coming from nearby pubs ( A really, really loud music) The access for the flats is hectic (the elevator is located on the first floor and not ground floor) and we had one air conditioner not working, staff tried to help but it didn’t work. The breakfast is good, served on top of the hotel with nice view but with limited variety (and very unpleasant smells :/) Overall an average experience but would book again for the location and staff friendliness

My 2 rooms were old and out dated. My rooms didn’t look anything like in the pictures. The building is not white but greyin color. None of the electrical plugs worked in the room.

Konum mukemmeldi, istiklal caddesi ve galata yuruyerek cok yakin, deniz manzarali ve konforlu bir oda, guleryuzlu calisanlar, cok memnun kaldik.

It was so noisy I could not sleep till 4am

I did organize with hotel airport pick up but it didn't work. we sorted out at the airport.

Nice hotel. Been here several times. We like it because it’s so close to everything. Staff is friendly and welcoming.

Rezervasyonu cift kişilik yaptim. Seyahatte olan arkadaşımın yetisememesi sebebiyle tek kisi kalmak zorunda kaldim. Resepsiyon tek kisimi cift kişimi kalacaksiniz diye sordu. Bende arkadas yetişir ise cift kisi kalacağız düzgün bir oda olsun dedim. 204 numarali havasiz kucuk tek kisilik bir oda tahsis etti. Otelde tesaduf konaklayan farkli arkadaslarim olduğunu gördüm. Onlarin odalarini gördüğümde daha net durumu anladim. Kahvalti oldukca zayif yeterli seviyede degildi. Yatak ve yastiklar konforlu degil oldukca rahatsiz ediciydi. Yatak carsaf vs gunluk degisim degil duzeltme yapilarak ikinci gun konaklamaya devam edildi. Fiyat performans olarak vasatin da altinda bir otel tavsiye etmeyecegim

Location was great. Hotel was good, service was good. However, some staff members were very rude and this hotel is not chold friendly.

Je recommande cet hotel. Il est propre et tres bien situé. Peut etre un peu de nuisance sonore due a la circulation mais francjement cela reste raisonnable.

We spent 3 nights on a family trip with 3 teenagers, all was excellent, location could not be better, meters from Istiklal street with lot of shopping and dining options. Also walkable to Galata Tower. Definitely a very good option

The location was perfect, very accessible to key sites around Istiklal Caddesi and surrounds and walking distance to Tunel, Tramway, Taksim etc. Service was consistently good. Room was clean and had all basic amenities, was small but more than enough for a solo traveler. Overall a pleasant experience for a good price.

Excellent location literally right behind istiklal street. Great for shopping and dining, at night it was quiet too. Lovely rooftop breakfast!

The accomodation was very well located and clean and tidy nice decor. The steps are a bit difficult for people with mobility issues. Lifts dont go to all floors. Breakfast was disappointing so didnt bother going again after the first day. The massage was excellent and very good service overall. The highlights good location clean good quality beds and furnishings and spa facilities.
