Manoir Sweetsburg draws praise for its beautifully maintained historic setting, quiet and comfortable rooms, and especially friendly, attentive staff, with many guests highlighting spotless cleanliness and a peaceful atmosphere that makes for a relaxing stay.
Several reviews also like the charming grounds and convenient location near restaurants and walks. Breakfast earns positive comments, particularly on weekends, but availability on weekdays can be limited and, at times, quality or setup has disappointed. A few guests mention lapses in staffing or communication. Expect a quiet, characterful stay with warm hospitality.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this manoir! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and accommodating — it truly made a difference in our experience. The atmosphere was peaceful and charming, with every corner of the property beautifully maintained. Our room was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared. We also appreciated the spacious parking area, which made arriving and leaving so easy and stress-free. The breakfast was simple but satisfying — a great way to start the day before heading out. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend this manoir to anyone looking for exceptional service, warm hospitality, and a relaxing getaway. We would definitely love to return!

Lovely bed and breakfast. Very quiet. Large clean well furnished room. The only negative is that it is described as a bed and breakfast but breakfast was only available on weekends - which we knew ahead of time but it was an inconvenience to search for a breakfast place on week days Breakfast served on weekend was excellent

The place was nearly empty and I was given the worst possible room of the property it turned out. Close to thermopup noise. I was on first floor and the people above me kept coming and going and dropping stuff on the floor until 1 AM. I slept very poorly between that noise and the thermopump. There’s obviously an sound problem not enough soundproofing. But other than that I feel I probably was given the worst possible room on the property. I was there 2 years ago and they do have better quality of rooms. Now I am not sure if I even want to return here.

We booked this hotel and it mentioned 'breakfast included'. THe day of our checkin the hotel called and told us that there will be nobody available to checkin as well as no breakfast is served on weekdays. That was a terrible experience. We paid a lot more money to get a hotel with no breakfast and no amenities.

Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend this manoir to anyone looking for exceptional service, warm hospitality, and a relaxing getaway. We would definitely love to return!

Fine but not particularly charming or welcoming. Breakfast was meager and didn’t feel fresh. Clean well maintained rooms, good shower.

I thought it was beautiful. They had a lovely breakfast with no shortage of food. The people are genuinely kind.

Curb appeal is the first confirmation that you made a good choice when choosing a property and our confirmation was a fail. The grounds had not been given attention for quite some time. Our room selection had been upgraded in order to accommodate another guest and we were OK with that. Very comfortable bed but there was no wifi to connect to, which also affected the temperature control for the room. We were excited for our first French-Canadian breakfast but, while the dining room was arranged beautifully, the food fell flat. The staff we interacted with were very kind but I feel this was a miss for us. Too bad.
