Holiday Style Ao Nang Beach Resort, Krabi

The breakfast was excellent! Lots of choices. Omelet station was really good. Coffee machines worked great. The grounds and pool area were great although the pool area is small. Had lounge chairs on the lawn away from the pool to accommodate the crowd. Pool bar is expensive. 150TB for a fresh, chilled coconut. Outside they are 50TB. Mango shakes use canned mango juice and are more expensive than the fresh juice outside. The room was clean. The cleaning staff were great. The room and hallways outside smelled like mold though. The hallway walls are scratched up and badly in need of patching and painting. The outside of the buildings needs paint too. The beds were not soft. You can also hear the noise of the other guests around you. The area around the hotel is nice. Walking distance to night market, shops, and restaurants (Sunshine Thai/Indian Restaurant & Rosetta Mexican 👍) Walked a mile to Family Thai Restaurant which was excellent too. The beach right across the street from the hotel is nice. You can walk it, but probably not swim. Would I stay here again? Yes. I would. Our experience here was very good. The little negatives didn’t outweigh the good. However, our next trip to Krabi we will look elsewhere as I think a better place for that same money can be found. Staff was great. Fang especially. Young on phones. Need training! To me the management of this hotel has no eye for detail. Do repairs! Paint! Clean moldy smells! Train staff!

Room very clean and functional. Pool area very nice and well up kept. Breakfast awesome. Why not five stars? Not enough pool chairs in pool area, if you don’t “reserve” one by placing a towel by 8 am good luck getting one for the day. At times pool towels ran out. No chairs on balconies with Garden view. Pool view has 1-2. Drain shower veryyyyyy slow.

Ein toller Aufenthalt. Kurzer Weg zum Strand und allen weiteren Dingen die man im Urlaub braucht. Fixes Servicepersonal. Gutes Frühstück. Leider zu wenige Liegen am Pool bzw. zu viele "Reservierer".

A well located hotel, situated next to the large night market, a short walk or taxi ride to Nopparat Thara Pier and very close to the Long Tail Boat departure point. There are a number of bars and restaurants very close to the hotel and the beach is just across the road. The rooms are not massive but adequate and we would have liked a larger balcony with furniture but that is if we are being very pedantic. The pool is really nice and the surrounding area is beautifully maintained although it would be useful if there were more sunbeds scattered around as it can be quite difficult to bag one. The breakfast choice is vast (everything from omelettes to stir fry to Indian dishes as well as sweet cakes. There is definitely something for all tastes). The hot food could be kept warmer but they didn’t tend to light the burners under the food storage trays so food was often cold if you arrived late for breakfast (which runs from 06:30 to 10:30). The staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Happy hour (15:00 to 17:00) at the pool bar is exceptional value with 2-4-1 cocktails. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our 8 day stay and would happily stay here again.

We stayed in first floor in a garden view double room and the room had a strong smell of mold plus smell of sewage Once opened the balcony door. You can not find conditioner or shower gel in the bath.

No beach view, hard beds, you hear everything to next room out in the hall, really everything even if you use earplugs. It smells a lot of ”toilet” every where at pool area and in the hall.

Well the property looks great upon entering. Upon entering our room we were hit with a strange mold smell. Upon inspecting out sheets we noticed they had blood spots all over them but didn’t find any bedbugs. We asked to have our sheets changed which was done promptly. The shower was covered in mold. The outside was great. The inside needs ALOT of work. I don’t think we would ever stay here again.

Ok so the hotel staff and location were fab! Very helpful friendly staff and ideal location close to everything but set just back off the main street so you arent bothered by loud noise. However that's where the positivity stops. The hotel's marketed as a luxury 4star resort but its the worst 4 star I've stayed in, in terms of cleanliness, comfort and maintenance. They do clean and replace towels every day but as others have mentioned, maintenance around the hotel is an issue. No air con in reception, fans dont seem to do much. The accomodation corridoors and bedroom doors look like a prison. The rooms are a 3star at best. Very grubby everywhere. Tea and coffee making area not cleaned in a very long time as well bedside tables. Bathroom full of mildew and taps and shower in need of replacement. No slippers/flip flops or dreasing gowns which have been standard in all the other 4stars I've booked. The superior room garden 'view' is very questionable Most uncomfortable bed I've slept on in Thailand. To be fair to the team, as soon as i mentioned it, they arranged for a mattress topper but this didnt help much. Only one plug socket working and that was only after you wiggle the plug a little. Was also a little disappointed to find that the balcony isnt furnished so you cant sit out with table and chairs. No smart tv. Didnt have breakfast so can't comment on that. Pool area nice but the sunloungers are very old and need replacing.

Zimmer könnte etwas gründlicher gereinigt werden. Tut dem Aufenthalt aber keinen Abbruch. Personal super freundlich und ws fehlte an nichts. Hotel ist super. Tolle Pools und super gepflegte Anlage. Frühstück super!

The staffs only did our beds and take out the trash. We still see food crumbs on tables and dirt in the shower.

Rooms were very small, not enough storage space. Breakfast spread was quite limited / serving equipment to keep the food warm didn’t function well. The resort is located very central to easily access the restaurants and night market etc.

Like everywhere in Thailand the staff are excellent. Overall the hotel was good and breakfast choices were great. Not a single drawer in the room made unpacking difficult and the lack of a restaurant other than for breakfast was disappointing.

The staff were great, friendly, helpful. We had a pool access room which was lovely. The pool water was a little chilly the first couple of days then it warmed up some and was perfect. The breakfast buffet was ok. The location was nice. It was close to the night market- which was our favorite place for dinner. Able to walk to town. The only reason I didn’t give 5stars is because we didn’t sleep well- the room always felt damp and clammy, including the pillows and bed covers, which made it difficult to sleep.

Our stay was excellent. Highly recommend a room with pool access.

Worst check in experienced. We arrived hotel at about 11 pm. We had to wait for more than half an hour for getting keys, as the rooms not ready ??? I made reservations for 2 rooms but they assigned rooms in two different building. We had to argue with the Receiptionist to get the rooms in the same area. After we got angry they finally gave adjacent rooms. Our holiday mood was over by the receptionist. Our flight to Krabi delayed and we arrived late in the hotel. After getting into room we found telephone not working, tv not working. My wife had to walk a long way to the reception to complain. After complaining the service technician came and fixed the problems but it’s already crossed midnight. We pay so much higher rate and got such services, we should be compensated. All other hotel services were okay.

Front desk staff are not very friendly (not even courtesy smile). After whole night flight we reached at 10.30 am and wait 3 hours get room. earlier we informed two email about our arrival. Front desk staff not even know about those emails. Other than check in issue every thing was fine for this price range.

Staff were incredible. Had an issue with AC, dry cleaning, and tv all at once and they sent 3 workers up to my room to resolve the issues in less than 10 minutes. Great hospitality. Can’t wait to return.

Holiday Style AO Nang is so beautiful. Very nice, relaxing and enjoyable place to stay. Delicious breakfast buffet with many options. Very short 1 minute walk to the beach. Convenience store, restaurants and shopping as soon as you leave the parking lot. Short walk to the Night Market where you can enjoy lots of different street foods, shopping and entertainment. I will definitely be back...

First impressions were good. Staff all very friendly. Hotel rooms were fine. Had a connecting room. Clean sheets & towels. Breakfast wasn’t the best. A lot of choice but some poor. Good location & reasonable price.

Amazing pool access rooms, great breakfast, water and coffee in rooms, pool bar and room service were all great. A couple of things i found odd: 1. charged for water at the bar but it's free from housekeeping and at the gym 2. You weren't allowed to take a coffee from breakfast back to your room. Overall very happy with our stay.

It is a decent hotel and the value for the price is excellent. You sure can compare it with a holiday inn express (high it used to be). The rooms are clean and provide everything needed. If not the staff will try to make sure and help with everything. Breakfast is nice and they have an egg statin preparing fresh eggs, Omelettes etc. for the guests
