What guests think

At Ring Stone Hotels Bosphorus - Special Class, reviewers consistently praise the ultra-central Istiklal Street location beside Şişhane Metro and the striking rooftop Bosphorus views, while highlighting friendly, helpful staff and generally modern, well-kept spaces that suit short city stays.

Common trade-offs include compact rooms, occasional street noise on lower or street-facing floors, and mixed experiences with housekeeping. Many guests loved the breakfast and rooftop dining views, though a few noted inconsistent venues and one report of food-related illness. Some reviewers also mentioned sporadic Wi‑Fi issues and rare service lapses, including an unresolved theft complaint. Best suited to city breaks where convenience and service matter more than room size and hush.

The proximity of this hotel was amazing. However we were in the first floor which was noise due to being closer to the street. This is the busiest Avenue (Istiklal Caddesi) in Istanbul! We kindly asked at check in if we could be in higher floors. The request was denied. Housekeeping was rather haphazard. We were supplied with clean towels but the dirty ones were left in a pile in the shower! Had to ask for tea and coffee supplies… The decor is modern. We were impressed by the electronic messaging pad in the wall that informs housekeeping whether you want your room cleaned etc! Other than that we had a lovely stay. The reception staff were courteous and helpful. And, we were right in ‘the thick of the acrion’!

All the service at the hotel was great, sour part was when I’ve discovered that money were stolen from my back pack and from the safe box. Really sad, it was $3000 in total worst part is the reaction of the management when they received my complain. No attempt for call to contact with me to explain what action they are taking to solve the situation . Only explanation was that “ we don’t run business like this” who ever did this had access to key for safe box. They could have start there, but they were protecting there staff without solving the situation for the customer. When police showed up, they found that cameras were not working only thing they had is the record of access to my room. Hope you can draw conclusions about the place. Don’t leave money in the room, or for similar price or less get safer hotel for your self.

The hotel is at an excellent location and the view from the room was amazing. Couldn’t have asked for a better location at the price. The service was a bit tardy at times but the overall friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness and overall condition and the comfort of the stay more than made up for it. There are ample restaurants and shops around, the place is always bustling and the metro is just around the corner. Highly recommended and will visit again for sure.
