Red Roof Motor Inn

What guests think

Travellers describe Red Roof Motor Inn as an older, budget-friendly roadside motel that is very clean and well kept, with generally comfortable, quiet rooms and convenient parking, making it a practical stopover rather than a luxury stay.

Many mention friendly, accommodating owners and easy check-in. Rooms are dated yet functional; several note kitchenettes and strong showers, while air conditioning can be loud or occasionally faulty. A few reviews cite mattress problems, musty odors, pricing concerns, or noise from other guests and uneven quiet-hour enforcement. Expect a straightforward, no-frills stay.

The bed was comfortable, sheets crisp, towels fluffy, clean, good sized tv with premium cable. The kitchenette had everything you need and there was an onside bbq that I cooked on that was pretty new and cleaner that expected.

As was stated in other reviews, it was very clean. The property itself is 'dated' but well maintained. The air conditioner was bnoisy (typical of that type of a/c) but worked very well. It kept the room cool. Because the facility was off the main highway, it is a quiet area.

Our room was on the ground floor & hence, we were able to park right out in front of it. Annie at the reception desk was friendly & helpful. Our room was cosy & compact! The A/C worked well. The bed was very comfy & had crisp clean sheets. The tv was an adequate size for the room & had multitudinous channels. It was a bit of a tight squeeze to get past the end of the bed & the fridge but doable . Nice clean bathroom & tiny screened window instead of a fan. Had a restful sleep as no traffic was heard. I intend to stay here again in the future!

Off the main highway means it’s quiet. Clean room, picnic tables and some lawn chairs. Kitchenette with apartment-size fridge/free allows us to cook dinner and breakfast and someplace for picnic supplies. Friendly and speedy check in.

The room was clean, water pressure in the shower was good. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was effective, much appreciated after a hot day and a long drive in heavy traffic. We checked in after midnight, staff were friendly. The coffee supplied in the room was better quality than we expected. I took the precaution of calling them directly, good thing as Expedia hadn't informed them properly and emailed me an incorrect phone number. A quick Google search got me the right one. Problem solved, phone call made.

I was pleasantly surprised. I was travelling with family & booked 3 rooms. The rooms with 2 beds were very spacious. All rooms were very clean. Heard a few sirens on the road but I’m sure lots of places heard those. Good water pressure in the shower. We were just passing through & it was a safe, clean place to spend the night. Basically it’s an affordable, clean, blue-collar friendly place. I’d have no problems staying there again.

It was great. Lots of space in the room. The only downside was a guest in a nearby room that several times from 11:30 to 2:30 was in a loud and abusive confrontation with a fellow traveller. However, hotel staff was very apologetic the next morning and I believe they handled it well. The landed up calling the police to end the dispute.

I love the beds in this property, also, every time I have to arrive late at night, owner is available to welcome me. Had the experience in other motels, where the owner don’t open their office late at night, even though I have had reservations made. This is one of my favourite place to stay in Hope.
