Demora Hotel

What guests think

Across recent reviews, Demora Hotel is praised for its central, walkable location and generally clean, often spacious rooms, with many guests highlighting friendly, helpful staff and an easy base for visiting shops, restaurants, and city sights.

Breakfast feedback is mixed, from fantastic and plentiful to basic or disappointing with some items missing late. Room experiences vary, with reports of dim lighting, weak air conditioning, street noise in some suites, and mismatches with photos. Service is largely warm and professional, though a few guests noted an unhelpful staffer, invoices only in Turkish causing billing disputes, and one reservation not honored. It works best for travelers prioritizing convenience over extras.

Newly renovated property in an old part of the city center. Nice remodel, nice restuarant, nice staff except 1 person who was not very friendly nor helpful. did not like the fact that every bill for every charge was in turkish and not in english. I was pushed to sign the final invoice that i coulden't understand (was is Turkish) at check out and therefor was over charged i found out later. I'm disputing the over charge through my credit card company.

The air conditioning was not functioning properly — the room was extremely hot and only started to cool down after about five hours. Additionally, the elevators had very long wait times. There are supermarkets and nice restaurants in the neighborhoods.

Liked most things about the hotel. Hallways are very very dark. My wife felt unsafe if by herself. Met 3 staffers at the front desk, the older woman not very nice.

Otel temizlik açısından gayet iyiydi. Kahvaltı çeşidi güzel ve yeterliyddi. Fiyat/Prrformams açısından bence fiyat yüksek. Personel ilgiliydi fakat maalesf eksik iş yapıyorlardı. Odaya poşet siyah çay konulmadığını belirtmemize rağmen, odaya döndüğümüzde yine çay yoktu. Ayrıca odada 2 kişi kalmamıza rağmen ücretsiz su 1 adet bırakılmıştı. Fiyat daha makul seviyelerde olursa bazı şeyler görmezden gelinebilir. Bence Demora otel için 10/7 puan yeterlidir.

This hotel is not 4*, 3*at best. We booked a Junior suite as the photos looked good but the room was not as in the photos. It is dated, dimly lit as is the bathroom, mediocre bed and uncomfortable pillows. The mini bar has a glass front with a strong light that cant be turned off lighting up the room at night but the worst part was the room overlooked a busy road with traffic 24/7 making it hard to get a good nights sleep. This is not stated in the advertising! I asked to move to another suite in a quieter area but was told all suites are in the same position on every floor! The staff were pleasant and the restaurant breakfast ok if you like a typical Turkish style but no fried eggs or omelettes only hard boiled. Nescafe coffee awful sadly.

Upon my arrival, I was informed that the hotel was unable to provide me with the room I had reserved for the first night. Instead, I was relocated to a smaller, substandard room in a different hotel, which was not in line with the expectations set by my original booking. Despite this inconvenience, the hotel has refused to offer any form of compensation or discount for the disruption caused. this situation has negativelyn impacted in my experience.
