Guest reviews of Creekwood Inn

What guests think

AI-generated summary based on recent guest reviews

At Creekwood Inn, reviews consistently describe a very dated budget property with significant wear and security concerns, while praising friendly staff, low prices for Anchorage, and a location that is central to shops and restaurants. Common complaints include dirt, pests and smoke odors, broken or missing fixtures (locks, heaters, TVs), frequent noise, limited ventilation or no AC, and occasional reservation or key problems. Some travellers also note spacious rooms with kitchenettes, fish freezer access, and an attached RV park. Overall, expect a no-frills, low-cost stay where tradeoffs in comfort and upkeep are likely.

I never write reviews and I am not a picky traveller at all. I have stayed in many not great motels but they were at least clean and made a little effort. This room was very grimey and wasn’t even that great of a deal. Even for a 1 night stay before a flight I would stay away from this place.

Room not as advertised. We did not get a refrigerator. Was told we could move to another room for the nite, but would need to move back for 2nd nite. There was a stool to sit on. Not a chair, a stool. Loud fire alarm went off at 11pm. No AC, so had to keep widow open and was awakened early. The man at the check in desk was super kind and allowed us to cancel our second nite. The room was clean, but mattress was thin. Felt springs or something moving. No curtain on window. Big shade that didn't retract very far. Bathroom door frame was busted and bath tub had peeling paint. Not worth $150 per nite.

It’s an old place, but the bed was excellent. My room had a full kitchen which was nice. The tv didn’t work but I was only there for a night so it was ok.

This is not a $144 hotel room. It's more like a $44 hotel room. Nosey, old, unkept, unclean, hot, and no elevator. Very steep stairs. The price of hotels in Anchorage are over priced. And I'm from California.

My booking with Hotels was fot two nights. They only me for one. My belongings were gone when I got back after appointments. They were stored and I had about everything. I booked another night without a problem. The motel needs better maintenance.
