What guests think

Reviews of Hôtel Shediac consistently praise its very clean, modern spaces, friendly staff, and comfortable, often spacious rooms—many with balconies—plus enjoyable amenities like an indoor pool and hot tub, creating a relaxed, upscale feel.

Guests find the location convenient and generally walkable to restaurants, trails, and local attractions. Dining feedback is mixed: the on-site restaurant is popular, but breakfast options feel limited or pricey, and food service can end early. It's a newer hotel in a good location and the service was great. The problem was with the laundry room. After a cycle in the dryer lasting 90 minutes on High heat, the clothes were still damp. After informing the person at reception, we were told it usually takes a little more drying time for a full load as the machines aren't that good. So we pay again and it takes 90 minutes more to dry! It is not a timed dryer, so you need to wait until it stops. After complaining to the manager that we couldn't wait another 3 hours for the second load to dry, they put it into one of their commercial dryers and it was done in 20 minutes. We ended up wasting half the morning on laundry and couldn't get to one of the

I really like the hotel overall and the vibe. It was very comfortable, and the restaurant is a definite bright spot. I think it's an independent hotel and you don't get certain advantages like a typical chain hotel free breakfast. You can buy breakfast, but I think you'd be waiting quite a while if there was a crowd. The conference facility was great. Overall I like this hotel and I will be back.
