Check-in was smooth. Front desk staff very friendly. Our room was clean but had a child’s shoes and sports bra way at the back of the bottom shelf. Staff would have had to bend down to look at the back of that shelf but still, they should be making sure all areas are clean and clear. The only other thing was one side of the bathroom counter had some sort of residue/ spots. Otherwise everything was clean in the room. The regular sized fridge in our room was a big bonus as we were able to keep our leftovers fresh. The fridge was nice and clean. Beds were comfortable and so were the linens. The hot tub was hot the night we arrived but the jets weren’t working so there were no bubbles. The next morning the jets were working but there were some specs/pieces of green/black in the foam. The pool was nice and clean, as well as warm. Continental breakfast had a good selection and the gym was clean and had everything it needed. Overall our stay was pleasant and we got a good deal. I’d stay again but not for more money.

Element was the absolute perfect choice for us and our guests for our wedding. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful before, during and after our stay. Our space was clean and set with amazing amenities in our suite that you don’t often see at other hotels! They have plenty of surface parking for everyone and the location is so convenient having multiple food options within walking distance. They also offer a phenomenal complimentary breakfast bar to guests staying equipped with hot foods at the ready. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anybody needing to stay in the area!

The hot tub was disgusting, so much black film on top the bubbles and globs of hair floating around! We did not get in the hot tub or the pool which was super disappointing after a long day of traveling. Thankfully the room was much cleaner.

This is our second stay at this hotel and both times we had to switch rooms because of dirty linen and or filthy floors. Upon checking in, there was a huge fan like those used in construction, operating in the bathroom. I called the front desk and they said maintenance probably forgot it there. Unbelievable. The floors were filthy as well. After we changed room, they put us in a suite that was adjoining to another room and the occupants literally complained that we were being loud when we were literally just having a nice conversation. The hotel security came and then the guy from the front desk came to tell us to whisper (not in so many words). People tend to treat hotels like their homes and want other guest to tiptoe around them. We will NEVER return to this hotel nor would we EVER recommend it. We paid over $400 for the night which is high for a mediocre hotel in Vaughan.

My bed was soaked because the sheets were not changed from the people the night before. Truly upsetting to spend so much money to have soaked sheets, and then when I called to get this fixed security just drops of sheets. I had to remake my own bed. With sheets for my first night there. Pool and hot tub had clumps of hair and dirt in th pool.

The Element Hotel was a good stay overall. The staff are amazing. Very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast every morning was fantastic however, the time frame wasn't great. They stop serving at 930 during the week and at 10 during the weekend. We felt rushed for breakfast every morning of our 6-day trip. Also, I want to mention the TVs in the room (we had two) did not work properly. Half the time, we couldn't use them. Also, we checked behind the mattress before leaving to ensure we did not leave anything behind, and it was evident that the staff did not clean this area. it was dirty, and a condom wrapper was left there. We liked this hotel but as the days went on it did lose points. However, I want to emphasize again how lovely the staff are. Very warm, and inviting and seemed happy to be there.

The main reasons I chose this hotel: separate bedroom, free parking, free breakfast, indoor pool. These all were delivered as promised. The living room area of the suite was smaller than expected; once the pull-out couch is out you don't have any space there. But I liked having the kitchen, and there is a little dining table and stools tucked away in the closet space. Lots of dining options nearby. It is further away from Canada's Wonderland than I anticipated, but that's on me for not plugging the address into Google maps ahead of time before booking.

We stayed for 5 nights in the Executive Suite at Element Vaughan Southwest and had an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. When we arrived, our room wasn’t quite ready — but the staff immediately accommodated us by placing us in another beautiful suite until the one we booked was available. This level of service set the tone for the rest of our stay. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and felt just like a home away from home. Every request I made was met quickly and with a smile, and the team truly went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and cared for. Breakfast each morning was amazing — fresh, high-quality, and something different every day, which we really appreciated. It was clear that a lot of thought and care went into it. The staff were the highlight of our experience — warm, professional, and genuinely kind. Their hospitality and attention to detail made all the difference. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and would absolutely stay here again without hesitation. Thank you to the entire team for making our 5-night stay so wonderful and memorable!
