Hich Hotel is an incredibly charming hotel. I was worried it couldn't possibly live up to its glowing reviews, but somehow it exceeded them. There is just no easy way to describe what makes this place feel so special. My room felt more like a private villa than a hotel room, offering plenty of privacy and a peaceful atmosphere despite being in the heart of Konya. What really sets the hotel apart are the thoughtful touches. Upon arrival, I was welcomed with dried fruits and nuts, and the refrigerator was stocked with complimentary juice and mineral water. Each evening, warm milk and cookies were delivered before bed—a small gesture that made the stay feel especially welcoming. The breakfast was excellent, but the staff made it even better. After the first morning, they remembered exactly how I liked my coffee and eggs and had them ready almost immediately. That level of personal attention made me feel more like a guest in someone's home than a customer in a hotel. The location could not be better. The hotel sits directly across from the Mevlana Museum and is only a short walk from the city center, numerous excellent restaurants, and the shuttle departure point for Çatalhöyük. If you're visiting Konya—and you absolutely should—it's hard to imagine a better place to stay. Beautiful accommodations, outstanding service, and an unbeatable location.

A couple of things. The air conditioning was not working in the hotel, anywhere, and it was a very warm day. It made the temperature in the room somewhat uncomfortable. Also, I enjoy my wine, but Konya seems to be an alcohol free town. Not the hotel's fault of course, but take that into consideration if it matters to you. In the evening, it cooled down enough so that the room temperature was OK with the windows open., but my room overlooked the patio restaurant which was quite loud until past midnight with the dinner crowd and cleanup. Also lots of smoking and I am a non-smoker. The staff was apologetic about the A/C, and very helpful, but it was kind of an unpleasant stay. I assume the A/C will be fixed for the next visitors and that would have resolved almost all of my issues. They did comp me dinner for the inconvenience, like I said, great staff.

Absolutely loved Hich Hotel Konya. Located just a three minute walk from the Mevlana Museum and within easy reach of many of Konya's main attractions, it is the perfect choice if you want a stress free stay without worrying about transport. The building itself is full of character, and our room was absolutely gorgeous. Parking was no problem at all, with plenty of spaces available nearby. The bed was extremely comfortable, and all the amenities were excellent. The staff were kind, welcoming, and always happy to help, while the breakfast was delicious and offered a great start to the day. This hotel played a huge part in making our short stay in Konya so enjoyable, and we would not hesitate to stay here again.
