The property is beautiful and expansive with some unlisted bonuses such as a walking trail and beautiful views. The room was very clean but, to be picky, the area behind the TV needed to be cleaned…those out of the way areas (move the couch, under the bed etc.). The outdoor hot tub was a great amenity as were the BBQ’s and fire pits. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised with property….it was beautiful. We were sad that we were only staying one night as a glass of wine in their bar with the views would have been awesome.

This resort is located in the countryside about 15 minutes outside Pictou. The last 1.5 kilometers are on a narrow gravel road. We are two senior couples traveling together and our rooms were located on the second floor so hauling our luggage up the outside staircase was a bit of a challenge. There is also no food service at the resort so you must travel into Pictou to eat. However, the rooms are clean and spacious and reasonably priced.
