The Landside YOTEL property was very nice. Rooms were very clean and quiet. The attached restaurant has a great selection and high quality service, although expensive for dinner. We look forward to coming back again.

Expensive place to stay, however on airport property and is great for very early flight out of Istanbul. Had two beers at the restaurant and cost me $58. Can get a few six packs for that amount

The hotel located in check in departure so if u have next day trip very convenient for short term . It’s expensive but u can save time and stress from going outside They have gyms so it’s nice The size of room is large and good They had nice restaurant downstairs or u can walk and had coffee and food from many coffee shop The check in at 6 pm and check out at 9 am but if u need extra hours u have to pay 20 euros I recommend for short trip or next day trip

I liked that this facility was inside the airport. The room was clean except the floor, they provided slippers. I also enjoyed the recharging ports there were many. I also separate and enclosed restroom and shower stall. We also enjoyed the fact that we could bring in our portable luggage rack inside the room. I would definitely use them again as well as recommended them as well. Oh they also have a gym. Thank you

So convenient. Basic amenities but serves intended purpose- you are literally at the airport. The only negative- but it is a Big one- was the carpet on floor one — where our room was located (but I assume same on all floors) It was impossible to roll any of our three suitcases. Literally messed up my back and my co-traveler’s hip/leg. They need to seriously do something about that.

This hotel is located inside the beautiful Istanbul Airport. It is a little expensive but totally worth the convenience. We had an early morning flight so we checked in, checked our luggage with the airline the night before and simply went to our gate in the morning. There is a bar and restaurant in the hotel so once you check in, you can relax. Th staff were very friendly and the room was quite nice. I would highly recommend.

Good location right at the airport. The room was clean. The bed linen is terrible, not cotton. If you have heavy luggage, be prepared to drag it along a long corridor to your room because the wheels of the luggage cannot roll on the carpet that is laid all over the floor of the hotel... it's terrible

Stayed for an overnight layover. The room was very clean and modern. Waterfall shower was amazing after travelling all day. The memory foam bed was quite comfortable and the room was quiet.

The hotel is certainly showing its age. Lots of mold in and around the shower. Marble disintegration around the toilet due to lack of cleaning of urine. The pricing is for a 5 star hotel but the hotel is more like a two to three star.

We walked and walked and walked to reach the hotel. There is no signs for the hotel in the airport. We had to ask many people with limited English to tell us about the hotel location. The letter that we received from YOTEL crew was incorrect saying we should not go through passport control but in real we have to. The room was very small and has no window and the lighting is just one switch turning all lights in the room. The bed makes you feel you are in the hospital. When you open the bed, it reach the other wall, so there is no way you can go to the bathroom.. On the top of that, the check out time is at 9 AM and if we stay longer, we have to pay €25 per hour. I think this is ridiculous and never been in a hotel like this.

The room was better than the smaller room they have, but very expensive £270 per night, for that price should be at least a kettle there with some tea and coffee. The walls are very thin so you can hear people moving around no extra of anything for that price

This hotel is all about location. 15 minutes walk to my gate without security was important when it was leaving at 7 AM. It totally delivered on this, but booking really should be done precisely by the hour and that was not clear with this website. Given the rate I paid, I might have expected a quieter room, but noises from the hall and adjacent rooms were evident.

The suite I have book wasn’t ready. Sofa bed didn’t have pillows, sheets, and blankets. I had to report twice to the receptionist within an hour until some from personal showed up. Bar servants are rude and unprofessional. Taking into account the prices - a service quality is unacceptable.

This hotel is the perfect place to stay if you have an early flight or a late flight or are connecting. It took more than 1 hour to get through the check-in line for those of us who actually had reservations. For tired travellers paying a lot for the privilege of spending a few hours in the hotel at the airport, taking away one hour of that experience is unacceptable. We had reservations!!! They need some serious process reengineering

Everything was good. Only issue was that they wouldn’t let is check in until precisely 6pm even though the room was ready. Yes that was our official check in time but the room was ready. Most hotels are more accommodating than that.

Overall, it was the best you can do if waiting for a long flight. Just note you don’t get the typical check in time (mine was 8pm) and my checkout was 9am. For 20 euros, you can add 1 hour. I ended up adding 3 hours, allowing me to sleep in more before the flight. Staff was friendly overall. The king bed room has the basics- bed, tv, fridge, sink, bathroom, shower, drinking water, lock, hair dryer, and slippers. There was a fridge that I didn’t realize would be included. I liked the lighting that can change to different colors and a lot of storage spots. I did see two ants in the room, which saddened me as it looked clean. Didn’t find more or a dirty floor but will point out in case that matters to others. Also, airside had no gym. Overall, if you have a long layover and have no other places to stay and don’t mind paying a pricy tag with a basic room then do it. I was alone, but king size for 2 or more may not be ideal for others.

My wife and I needed a place to sleep briefly on a layover from domestic Turkey to an international flight. It was extremely confusing about the story of "Landside" and "Airside", I hadn't realized we booked "Landside" rather than "airside" for the connection to our international flight. And I needed wheelchair assistance and the Turkish airlines staff didn't know how to handle it. But after a long wait for the Turkish airline staff, and a huge walk through the gigantic airport, we finallyi found it. Once we were there it was great. Much welcome choice (although the confusion really did not help)

Convenient location even though it is outside of the pre-security but it is 5 min away from the main security entrance. We had an early flight to catch during an 18 hour layover and helped us to recharge.

There needs to be better signage for the airside hotel! We were misdirected by multiple staff (police, airport staff, etc) people in the airport who had no idea where the airside entrance for the hotel was. This resulted in us going through customs and going to the land side entrance. There we were told we had paid for airside (we had an early morning flight and didn’t want to hassle with customs and security in the morning) so they told us to go back through customs AGAIN and security and gave us better instruction for finding the airside entrance. This took us 2 hours!!! But in the morning it was fantastic to just walk out of the hotel and not deal with any security or customs lines. It is close to the Turkish airlines Lounge. So when we stay here again, it will be much easier. Better signage and educating airport staff on your location would be incredibly helpful as most travelers are not familiar with Istanbul airport.

There we were told we had paid for airside (we had an early morning flight and didn’t want to hassle with customs and security in the morning) so they told us to go back through customs AGAIN and security and gave us better instruction for finding the airside entrance. This took us 2 hours!!! But in the morning it was fantastic to just walk out of the hotel and not deal with any security or customs lines. It is close to the Turkish airlines Lounge. So when we stay here again, it will be much easier. Better signage and educating airport staff on your location would be incredibly helpful as most travelers are not familiar with Istanbul airport.

This hotel has two portions. The "air side" is within terminal/gate area. We stayed in the "land side", which is inside the airport terminal, in the check-in area. Our flight into Istanbul was too late to make the connecting flight on the same day, so we had one night in airport. This hotel was very convenient. The hotel restaurant, plus numerous vendors in the check-in area provided a wide range of dining options. Only negative aspect was the 9:00 AM checkout time. However, they offered an extension at the rate of 20 Euro per hour.

Great option. I had a 12hr layover and it was perfect to get some sleep. The shared bathroom was nice also with large clean private showers. The hotel is located upstairs just off the main duty free shopping area so dining and bars are just a few meters away. A bit pricy but worth it.

The location inside the airport is amazing. We were a two minute walk from checking in to our international flight. We got a Jr suite which was big spacious and very clean. The restaurant inside the hotel was very good and we had dinner and breakfast there. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you need an early flight And wanna be right by the airport. You’re literally inside the airport.

The bathroom was filthy and there was no soap in the showers. The rooms are situated such that you will hear people in the lobby outside of the hotel loudly throughout the night. The bed and pillow were both very uncomfortable. I got maybe three hours of sleep in a 12 hr period. Absolutely terrible experience and not cheap either.

EVERYTHING at the Istanbul airport is expensive, an overnight stay at the Yotel sleep cabin included. However, if you have an overnight layover at IST, it’s definitely worth it to have the quiet, privacy and security the sleep cabin provides. I was able to substantially reduce jet lag on my very long trip to Kurdistan, get a reasonably good night’s sleep, take a shower, and put on fresh clothes. The cabin was clean, spacious enough, and very comfortable. In a similar circumstance, I’d absolutely stay there again.
