Lalinn Hotel

Room maintenance was in terrible condition! Shower and toilet was broken till end of my stay! No lift available for disabled and old people. Taxi access was very limited due to very narrow lanes. We should walked for 20 mins to take a taxi!! Waisting Money….

Just the basics here. No drinkable water offered in the rooms, but there is a little store close by where you can buy bottled water 10 lira for a liter. There was no shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom shower bottles and we only got a full set of towels the first day. We tried to hang them up but they took them anyways and did not replace them. In the evenings when we got back from our day we would ask the person at the desk to find some towels for us. Sometimes they had them and we would just use what ever they could find. The staff is young and they are nice enough but don’t expect too much in service or amenities here. Breakfast is not included, and we paid less than $10 per person per day for breakfast. One thing of note, apparently when we booked on Expedia the Lalinn was overbooked when we arrived. Instead of leaving us out in the cold they had already made arrangements for us to stay in the hotel next door. We had 3 rooms for six of us. We stayed one night there and kept our bags packed, which they moved over for us the next day while we were out.

Virkelig godt til prisen. Stort værelse, gode senge og fantastisk udsigt. Der var langt op på 3 sal uden elevator. Super sød service og meget central beliggenhed

Property is in the middle of the old city. The hotel has no elevator but was not a problem. We had the family suite booked which they upgraded us to the sea view room. Everything from the staff and service was excellent. I would recommend

Personal amable, nos indicaba sobre lugares a visitar. Un hotel limpia, cómodo y acorde a su precio. Buen baño, bien el caudal de agua de la ducha y la temperatura del agua caliente. Tuve la suerte de estar en plata baja porque no tiene ascensor lo cual es muy normal en este tipo de hoteles en Estambul

Odada mini dolap var ancak bir su bile konmamış, en azından bir çay, kahve yapmak için ısıtıcı ve 2 fincan konulabilir. Otel den ziyade pansiyon görünümünde. Çarşaflarda kısmen lekeler gördüm, temizzlik konusu da çok iyi değildi.

I hate to say this because the staff were incredibly nice and sweet people but our experience was overshadowed by the problems during our stay. It is incredibly hot in Istanbul right now and our hotel did not have AC. We were miserable and The AC would turn on and off constantly. There was nothing the staff could do about it as it was affecting the whole building. At one point, it was cooler outside than it was inside. We were sweating and taking cold showers constantly. The rooms were not very clean either. Had the amenities been in proper condition our review would’ve been much different things to the kindness of the staff, but Unfortunately, without proper Air conditioning our stay was mostly overshadowed by the heat.

Staff was nice, but rooms looked like they were from 1941. The bathroom had mold and the drain kept clogging. Overall everything was very old, beds hard and broken in the middle, pillows harder than a rock. If you hate your back and your legs, sure, book it.

Sehr schöne und saubere Zimmer, jedoch im Bad ist das ganze Silikon/Fuge komplett verschimmelt was den Badespaß raubt. Ansonsten eine gute Unterkunft

Positiv: Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Die Zimmer sind sauber und das Personal ist freundlich. Das Frühstück ist für 7 Euro in Ordnung. Negativ: Die Dusche war übersät mit schwarzem Schimmel. Es war so viel, dass wir uns Gedanken über gesundheitliche Beeinträchtigungen gemacht haben. Wenn wir aus dem Fenster sahen, schauten wir auf eine Wand. Zwischen unserem Hotel und dem anderen Haus war die Wärmepumpe angebracht. Diese war so laut, dass wir Schlafprobleme hatten.

La atención del personal fue buena, pero el problema fue la habitación, se encontraba en el sótano, poco ventilación, se escuchaba la tubería de agua, el llenado de cisterna etc, durante la estadía nunca realizaron el aseo de la habitación, la regadera con fuga, la TV no predio,entre otros.

Scarsa pulizia, pavimento il legno appiccicoso, capelli dietro la porta del bagno, muffa in doccia, contenitore spazzolino per wc arrugginito, lenzuola e asciugamani macchiati e con peli. camera rumorosa posizionata dietro ferrovia quando passava il treno la camera addirittura vibrava. Finestre senza maniglie e chiusure di sicurezza, e con poca tenda oscurante. Personale poco preparato in lingua inglese.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. The staff are great , friendly and kind. The hotel is cleaned daily and the rooms are very comfortable. The location is excellent, it is a 5 minute walk to the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. Also the breakfast was really nice. Would really recommend this hotel, the street that it is located on is also very nice and relaxing.

Had a wonderful stay at an amazing price in such a great part of Istanbul. The man on reception when we checked in (Zeke or Seke - I’m terrible with names and I really wanted to remember his name. He was night shift) he was amazing and super helpful and accommodating! I will for sure return to this hotel next time I’m in Istanbul! The top room with the view of Bosporus and the Istanbul skyline was beautiful!

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Some rooms are great, some a bit dungeon like underground, so ask when booking. Breakfast fine at €6 if not included. I didn't give high ratings for "condition" as there are many repairs not done - e.g. window locks and power points not working that should be fixed. Slightly out of the way due to old city walls, etc, but walkable to nearly all main sights.

Wenn man in Ruhe schlafen möchte, dann würd eich dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen, wir waren 4 Nächte dort und alle 4 von 4 Nächten haben wir kein Auge zu gekriegt, da die Zimmernachbarn so laut waren. Schade ist auch das die Dämmung der Wände leider sehr schlecht ist, dass man wirklich alles hört. Wir baten den Personal an der Rezeption, die Nachbarn zu bitten einwenig leiser zu sein, deine Antwort war die gehen sowieso morgen. Am nächsten Tag waren diese leider immer noch da, es wurde wirklich nichts unternommen dagegen, jede nacht mussten wir und die Geschreie, das Gestreite und das Gelächter von denen anhören. Wir wurden jeden Tag nur vertröstet, mehr wurde nicht getan. Am letzten Tag fing der Rezeptionist auch an mit uns zu diskutieren, wir sagten ihm, dass wir um 5 Uhr zum Flug müssen, dies interessierte ihn jedoch nicht, er legte sich weiter aufs Sofa schlafen in der Lobby, ich war schon so oft da, aber sowas unverschämtes habe ich noch nie gesehen. Bei unserem Checkout, stand dieser Mitarbeiter dann nicht einmal auf uns mit den Koffern zu helfen, er legte dich weiter schlafen. In diesem Hotel kann ich Ihnen versichern sie werden kein Auge zu kriegen, wenn sie ätzende Zimmernachbarn haben, da es weder die Mitarbeiter noch den Chef interessiert ob sie schlafen können oder nicht, hauptsache das Geld kommt.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Rooms are cleaned and tied up everyday . The triple room we got was spacious enough for the 3 of us and our suitcases . Everything was pretty much a walking distance: restaurants, hagia sophia , and the blue mosque. And if you like walking you can even walk to the Egyptian bazaar , grand bazaar and laleli . Highly recommend staying at this Hotel !! 💕

The hotel is fine but should not have three stars. staff close to hagia sofia - no soundproofing - shabby bath/cracks on walls/broken handle on window - very cold room - building work next door - bad breakfast - electricity broke down in my part of the hotel

They cleaners took a some or my coins both in pounds euro add Turkish Lr that i left on table in the room without permission. When i told the hotel staff...their response was very condensation.

The photos exaggerate the quality of the rooms. It may once have been a lovely hotel. There is no guarantee that you’ll get twin beds if requested and could be given a shabby fold out, uncomfortable, camping bed instead. When challenged they were rude and weren’t accommodating at all. Only when I reported them to Orbitz did they eventually find a room with proper twin beds. Something they claimed they didn’t have, hoping we’d accept the original room.

Mükemmel bir otel resepsiyondaki Zeki Bey her konuda yardımcı oluyor. Yataklar rahat, banyo, tuvalet, çarşaflar, havlular tertemiz. 5 günlük İstanbul seyahatimizin 2 günü Avrupa 2 günü asya 1 günü adalar olarak düşünmüştük. Ama otelde o kadar rahat ettik ki odayı 2 gün daha uzattık otelden karşıya geçtik. İyi ki de öyle yapmışız lokasyon olarak da çok güzel araç parkı için de sorun yaşamadık. Otelin önü müsaitti. Biz çok memnun kaldık. Otele ve diğer personellere de konukseverliği için ayrıca teşekkür etmek istiyorum.

Hotel was responsive to my request when I made booking. They even upgraded us to a better room. Everything is smooth.

On ne nous a pas donné la chambre réservée et attribué une chambre plus petite. Le réceptionniste n'était pas très sympathique, il n'a rien voulu entendre.

The staff were so welcoming and kind. We loved being able to walk to all the shops and restaurants in the area as well as the beautiful masjids. We would definitely stay here again.

The receptionists in the hotel are friendly and helpful. They also recommended a very nice and budget restaurant in the old city of Istanbul, which I visited almost everyday during my trip.

Small hotel in a good location, 15 min walk to Topkapi palace, 7 min to Blue Mosque. There is an overpass above railroad that is not shown on google maps, makes it very convenient. Clean, quiet, fit our budget, worked really well for a 3 day Istanbul trip.

Toplamda 4 gece kaldık otelde ve her şey çok güzeldi. Güvenli ve temizdi. Otelin konumu sultanahmet meydanına yaklaşık 10 dk ve her türlü ulaşımda büyük kolaylık sağladı. İki kız kardeş kaldık ve gerek konumu gerek otel personeli sayesinde güvenli bir konaklama yaptık.

Sehr schöne souveräne Unterkunft. Tolle Einrichtung, super Personal!! Hat uns Mega gefallen. Das Hotel ist etwas im Abseits von Fatih. Zu Fuß 10-15 min bis zur Hagia Sophia. Dort sind dann auch die Öffis. Dementsprechend ist es theoretisch ruhig, wenn da nicht die Bahnstrecke wäre, die direkt am Hotel vorbei fährt. Hat uns super gefallen. Nichts für Menschen mit leichtem schlaf.

Very convenient location very close to the Bosphorus, the mosques, restaurants, shopping

Das Lalinn-Hotel liegt sehr zentral, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar. Es ist zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und das Zimmer müffelte etwas beim ersten Betreten, später aber nicht mehr nach Lüftung. Die Rezeption ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Erwas versteckt zu finden (auch für den Taksifahrer). Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig. Dusche in der Badewanne, ein paar Dinge könnten repariert werden. Für die Lage ein top Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis (wir haben ca. 40€ bezahlt im März).

The property was comfortable and clean. Very basic but everything we needed for our trip. It was a minutes walk from everything. We parked our car & walked the whole trip. I’d return & recommend to anyone travelling to Istanbul.

Good clean hotel. Excellent customer service from all staff in the hotel. Very friendly and helpful. However if travelling with young children be aware that there is a bridge with steps to cross to get to all the major attractions so with a pushchair it is very difficult. not the fault of the hotel at all as they were excellent. Just something to be aware of if booking with young children. Hotel staff were very good. Vintage hotel.

Public transportation is bad. Breakfast is so so

It was quite clean and comfortable hotel. Hotel staffs were kind and close to center of istanbul. Although they did not have elevator to carry the baggages, the staffs were kindly carrying them for the customers till the room and till the lobby. The room was clean and comfy. The taxi service was also convenient. The room was bit cold at night, though. Break fast was bit weak, too. Not so many things to eat :'( Overall, i enjoyed staying here.

Otel temizdi odamız büyüktü çocuklar için tek kişilik iki ayrı yatakları vardı. Çalışanlar güler yüzlüydü. Kahvaltı ekstraydı ancak iyi bir kahvaltı değildi.

El personal es muy amable, el dueño de la propiedad muy educado, pero la limpieza del lugar deja mucho que desear y el restaurante ofrece desayuno incluido, vaya, no es desayuno, es algo súper básico que no incluye nada de proteína.

This place is pretty good in terms of price. It is located close to the seaside and not too far to walk to the major attractions like St. Sophia and blue Mosque. The hotel allowed us to store our luggages when we arrived like 9 AM and they transfered our luggages to our room when we were back to the hotel in the evening, which was nice. The downside is their breadfast was very poor with 6 us dollars charge each person.
