We loved our stay at Ajwa! The staff was super friendly and very helpful. They always had a smile for us whenever we came or went. They were very accommodating. It was wonderful to be welcomed in with a delicious mint sherbet, or a Turkish tea. The environment was very welcoming, homey and luxurious at the same time. The atmosphere of the hotel was beautiful. We appreciated the attention to detail and the quality of the furnishings. We enjoyed the gym and spa. I would highly recommend staying at the Ajwa Sultanahmet if you want to have a relaxing and deliciously deluxe experience.🙏✨🙏 Padma and Meera🌟

Staff seemed confused at check in. Hotel modern and in good standard. Room big and comfortable but cleaning not acceptable for a 5 star hotel. Spa great and clean! Need to bring swimming cap to use pool - valid also for kids. Ate at the Japanese restaurant and the staff was highly service minded and food was good. Kids loved it.

The service was very good. The room was excellent. The only recommendation is that the hotel needs to assign a time without extra charge that the family couples can enjoy the pool and gym together as the hours for women and men was different.

とても快適でした 3泊しました 広さ、清潔さ、バスタブのキレイさ、トイレのキレイさ ソファーが古くなってない事 バスタオルやガウンの質がいい スリッパの質がいい パープルのカーテンが写真よりも色が薄くて オシャレです 朝食はバイキングでした 3泊しましたが、毎日違う内容でした 毎日違う料理を食べられてスゴイ嬉しかったです すべて美味しく、トルコ料理のレベルの高さがわかりました。 朝食会場の案内をしてくれた方が、とてもプロフェッショナルな身のこなしで、かっこよく、心地よく過ごせました。 ホテルのスタッフもとてもフレンドリーです そして、身のこなしがエレガントでした 地下にプールとサウナがありますが 行く価値があります 水着をもってサウナに行った方がいいです 私はトルコの伝統的なトリートメントを受けました 面白い体験でした トリートメントを受けて、そのまま部屋に帰れるのは ラクでした グランドバザールから近く トラムの駅からからも近く便利でした すべてが心地よかったホテルです このホテルを選んでよかったです

A luxurious hotel coupled with very attentive and polite staff. We had a wonderful stay, nice place to go back to after a whole day walking the busy streets of Istanbul. I think the only thing we are not used to is the separated times when a male and female can use the spa facilities which does prevent families from swimming together, which I think is why hardly anybody used the facilities during our stay, but at the same time we must respect their traditions. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff make the experience here fabulous, the majority of the time the staff were amazing. There were a few language barriers which meant we were overcharged for in room service but nothing too much. The whole decor and atmosphere of the whole was wonderful. We regretted not using the restaurant and will deffo stay here again next time we're in Istanbul. The pool, sauna and steam room were fab!

Everything clean and first-rate, top of the line services, everyone's competent, helpful,and gracious throughout our stay. From smaller gestures, like a complimentary refreshing drink on arrival and an unexpected souvenir gift after a simpler seamless checkout. Competent and useful concierge and front desk staff always warmly greeted us, and transportation was always readied and at the door. Housekeeping kept our rooms clean and well stocked. Breakfast was not as elaborate as the Ritz-Carlton or other 5-star hotels provide, but still most satisfying and the white tablecloth and professional wait staff superior. Will absolutely stay here again when in Istanbul, as the superior experience is accentuated by its ready proximity to everything. Again, a thoroughly superior experience!

This used to be a very nice property. We stayed there five times, and it looks like the proper maintenance and updates have not been performed. Lack of cleanliness, dining staff lacks manners. Receptionists do not speak English properly, not very professional anymore.

The hotel is in prime area for visitors; however, the rooms are claustrophobic, no windows. Not sure if the air-conditioning was working. The bed mattresses and pillows are not ergonomic friendly. Too small rooms for the price

Classy Turkish hotel great location tucked away on the hill. Food, shopping, dining were few steps away. Good internet service. Breakfast was great. It was on the top floor with a view of the city. Comfortable bed, good size rooms. Staff was very helpful. Very close to all the major sites. Be prepared to walk - sometimes its faster. Would stay again at this hotel.

From the moment we arrived the staff was amazing. They go above and beyond for you. The level of service here is incredible. The hotel lobby is gorgeous with its massive mable pillars inside and has great places to relax and admire the architectural details. The rooms are big and well decorated inside. The bed was comfortable with lovely sheets and pillows. The breafast buffet had everything you could want with a spectacular view of the harbor. It's walking distance to the Blue mosque, grand bazaar, and many restaurants. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit. Other hotel should take note on the level of service that AJWA gives for a true 5 star experience 👌

Ajwa is a true five star experience. The service team must be highlighter, from the bell staff to the concierge. You never hear a "no", they help with just about everything and go above and beyond. My small criticism is that the rooms are on the smaller side for families with children but still very comfortable.

We had a great experience at the Ajwa hotel in Istanbul. The hotel is quiet and elegant, staff are polite and helpful, the hotel rooms are well maintained and staff are willing to provide a great service to meet all your needs. The quality of breakfast is superb! A big thank you to Abdul Rehman for all his efforts during breakfast every morning. We had a great stay at the Ajwa hotel, my only criticism is that I felt that the air conditioning in our room (207) wasn’t a five star hotel standard! When returning to our room after a day out in the scorching 36 degrees the AC was not sufficient to cool you down quickly. Also, if you have mobility issues then the location might not be for you but the rest is absolutely 5 stars.

Everything clean and first-rate, top of the line services, everyone's competent, helpful,and gracious throughout our stay. From smaller gestures, like a complimentary refreshing drink on arrival and an unexpected souvenir gift after a simpler seamless checkout. Competent and useful concierge and front desk staff always warmly greeted us, and transportation was always readied and at the door. Housekeeping kept our rooms clean and well stocked. Breakfast was not as elaborate as the Ritz-Carlton or other 5-star hotels provide, but still most satisfying and the white tablecloth and professional wait staff superior. Will absolutely stay here again when in Istanbul, as the superior experience is accentuated by its ready proximity to everything. Again, a thoroughly superior experience!

From the moment we arrived the staff was amazing. They go above and beyond for you. The level of service here is incredible. The hotel lobby is gorgeous with its massive mable pillars inside and has great places to relax and admire the architectural details. The rooms are big and well decorated inside. The bed was comfortable with lovely sheets and pillows. The breafast buffet had everything you could want with a spectacular view of the harbor. It's walking distance to the Blue mosque, grand bazaar, and many restaurants. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit. Other hotel should take note on the level of service that AJWA gives for a true 5 star experience 👌

Staff seemed confused at check in. Hotel modern and in good standard. Room big and comfortable but cleaning not acceptable for a 5 star hotel. Spa great and clean! Need to bring swimming cap to use pool - valid also for kids. Ate at the Japanese restaurant and the staff was highly service minded and food was good. Kids loved it.

When we arrived at AJWA Sultanahmet Hotel, we were handed a form filled with numerous legal clauses and numbers. When I spoke with the hotel management about it, they rudely insisted that we either sign it or we wouldn’t get a room. They kept repeating that their hotel housed many valuable items and that they needed to protect themselves from guests. This approach made us feel more like we were in a courtroom than a five-star hotel. Ultimately, we had no choice but to sign. Furthermore, despite my prior email request for a firm mattress due to back issues, they only changed the mattress cover. The mattress itself was in such poor condition that my spouse and I sank on both sides, with the middle of the bed rising up. This is not what you’d expect from a five-star hotel. The breakfast was also extremely disappointing, nowhere near five-star quality, which only added to our frustration. Overall, our stay was far from pleasant.

Fantastic experience. Will definitely return to AJWA the next time we are in Istanbul. All members of the Ajwa Team are willing to go the extra mile. Accommodated us without question with an early check in and late check out. Whether requesting towels from housekeeping or a taxi from the concierge, all requests are accommodated asap! The service alone warrants five starts without even taking into consideration the great location and timeless decor. One of my best hotel going experiences. Keep up the good work.

The concierge Omer that helped us was a money grabbing con artist. We got over charged for the tour that he set up.. We asked other tourist what they paid and it was significantly less. Stupid us we trusted him, he asked us to pay him direct and the hotel would pay the tour guide. He paid the tour guide and pocketed the rest.Also, he said he would take us to the first stop of the tour. He offered us a coffee shop on the way, which turned out to be a shop of expensive items and no coffee. We were shocked and disappointed. This was our first trip to Istanbul and we’re very upset.

Classy Turkish hotel great location tucked away on the hill. Food, shopping, dining were few steps away. Good internet service. Breakfast was great. It was on the top floor with a view of the city. When I checked the location of the hotel on the map, I thought it looked convenient to get around, so I booked a room there. In reality, I found that the hotel was in the middle of a steep hill and that I had to go up and down the steep hill to get anywhere. It was convenient to the tram stop, a 7-8 minute walk away. There were many one-way streets around, so it took a little longer to get there by taxi. The staff were kind and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a bit difficult to use, and sometimes the bathroom would get flooded.

The hotel is located close to many of the city’s attractions. It takes about 10-15 minutes of walking to reach these site attractions. The hotel is very clean and its staffs are friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend it!

Location not suitable for people with disablilities or other walking difficulties. The area is surrounded by steep hills, narrow cobbled streets with broken and loose stones. The staff were incredibly helpful. Most of all, this hotel is quite elegant and tucked away in the Old City, about a .8mile walk from major sites. It does require some steep walking up/down hill. They have a free shuttle that will take you to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, and the Grand Bazaar. They are happy to arrange for a taxi to other locations (Galataport, airport, etc.) Beds really comfortable, all marble bathroom nicely appointed with towels individually wrapped.

This was our 2nd stay at Ajwa Hotel in Istanbul, the staff are fantastic and the breakfast buffet and Dinner at the hotel restaurant is absolutely brilliant, just one advice to the hotel, they need to do a proper maintenance check of the rooms as they are starting to show signs of wear apart from that i would highly recommended it to anyone

This hotel was very well located and walkable to the sights in Istanbul. Service was excellent and the breakfast buffet was varied, delicious and fresh. We did have dinner at the restaurant one evening. The view and service were amazing but the food (for dinner) was not great. I was also a bit surprised that the hotel had no alcohol at the restaurant. Overall we had a good stay. I wish they served alcohol in their restaurant and I wish their dinner options were a bit more tasty. The breakfast was great.

The front desk was always well staff and right there to take care of you every need. When we did not have time for breakfast they got us coffee. Were ready with umbrellas when it was raining. Made sure we had taxis ready when we needed them. I just can't say enough. The room was lovely and clean. Also the location was great with many things nearby including trams. Very pleased with our stay.

Located on an accessible street in Sultanahmet, this is a great anchor point for exploring Istanbul. The staff is overly helpful, even flagging us a free taxi one day. Some rooms open to the inside, and have no view to speak of, but other than that, this is an excellent hotel, well worth the price.

The hotel was lovely, clean and staff were very helpful. There was a delay checking in as our room wasn't ready but we were offered a free breakfast. We didn't eat there as we felt the food was very overpriced, there are many, many other more reasonably priced options.
