Motel Becancour

What guests think

Across recent reviews, Motel Becancour comes through as a no-frills, older roadside stop with comfortable beds and generally clean rooms, though upkeep varies, with some dated fixtures, occasional odors, and minor maintenance issues noted by several guests.

The setting is quiet and somewhat out of the way, with limited options nearby. Breakfast is a simple continental spread that many found acceptable but limited, and it starts at 7 a.m. Service is broadly welcoming and helpful, though one reviewer reported a serious billing problem. Expect a straightforward, budget-minded stop with basic comforts.

If you're looking for an out of the way place this is perfect. The bed was excellent after a long drive. It is a traditional older motel. With good staff. The breakfast options were light and limited but was of good quality.

The place was very clean with excellent service. Breakfast starts at 7 a.m., which was slightly inconvenient for me as I began work at 7:30 a.m. The provided toiletries were limited but sufficient for a business trip. Overall, a good choice for business travelers.
