The roof top terrace was amazing. We had drinks upstairs every night. The wait staff up on the terrace were excellent! The rooms were spotless, and the complimentary breakfast was amazing!

The services provided by staff were exemplary. Not only did we feel welcomed, anything we needed from car service, the spa, where to eat, shopping, they provided good information. The rooftop experience was the best! As well as the restaurant that was suggested. Their hammam spa, it was wonderful and we didn't have to leave the hotel!

The pictures of some of the facilities like the hamam and the beautiful view of the mosque is not from the hotel. our rooms were on third floor and it was very loud with all the restaurant noises.

Since the room was very small, the bed was also small, and my feet stuck out from it. There is a restaurant on the rooftop, but the elevator does not go up to the rooftop. You have to get off on the 5th floor below and take the stairs up. This means that various guests who are not staying at the hotel can freely access the guest room floors. From time to time, the smell of cigarettes from the rooftop terrace drifted into the room. In the middle of the night, guests frequently came down from the rooftop restaurant and chatted like chickens in front of the elevator. It was extremely noisy.

Nice place with a good breakfast. Spa in basement is excellent, best massage ive ever had. The tours they try to sell you are ok. Beach and pool tours sucked.

Very centrally located for shopping as well as site seeing. Hotel was clean, staff was very nice and the breakfast was good. I do not recommend the massage at the hotel. No privacy and people walking in and out of the room during the massage.

Hôtel bien situé, rien à redire sur cela. À noter, la mosquée bleue est visible seulement de la terrasse du restaurant. Des chambres, nous avons vu sur la façade d'autres bâtiments. La propreté de l'hôtel est à revoir: les draps blancs tachés et troués, des serviettes rêches et usées qui auraient dû être remplacées depuis longtemps, des dépôts noirs dans les recoins des toilettes. Au niveau des équipements de la chambre, le mini-bar de notre chambre ne refroidissait pas, les tasses mises à disposition étaient ébréchées. ATTENTION, nous avons eu une très mauvaise expérience avec une sortie organisée par l'hôtel au lac Sapança départ 8h15 pour un retour à18h. Nous avons payé en euros pour 7 personnes, au final 6 places seulement étaient réservées dans le car. Il a fallu attendre un autre transport, qui devait passer récupérer des passagers à l'autre bout d'Istanbul, pour une destination tout autre (l'aquarium). Départ prévu 8h15, à 12h nous étions encore dans Istanbul. 3/4 de la journée étaient perdue. Nous avons exigé un retour à l'hôtel et un remboursement. À FUIR. Négociez un taxi, et partez indépendamment vous vous éviterez bien des tracas.

well located, near to Blue Mosque but in a busy neighborhood, taxi wasn't be able to let us by the door so we had to walk one block with all luggage over stones side walk . Room was too small with no space to fit luggage so it was expensive for that area . dirt under beds and stair walls need some paint. Restaurant has a great view but breakfast is basic

The rooms were clean and well appointed, beds very comfortable. The included breakfast was varied and tasty. Hotel staff were very kind and helpful. Location can't be beat - so close to the hippodrome, etc. Street noise at night is constant, so you need to close the windows.

Good location, however rooms were very small and quite dusty. We booked especially for the rooftop breakfast however this was extremely poor. The hours are 7.45-10.30am we went at 8.30am and not a lot on offer and was not refilled, I had plain bread with butter. We had coffee and then went out for breakfast.

Chambre qui donne sur un mur (c’était limite si on savait le temps qu’il faisait), aucune isolation on entendait tout ce qui se passait (voisin qui tire la chasse d’eau, claquement de porte et autre) lorsqu’on rentrait dans la chambre celle ci avait une odeur de renfermé La pièce était vraiment miniature à 2 c’était quasiment impossible on avait aucun confort La literie était déplorable (suffisait de voir la couleur du sommier), pas de draps ou de couverture un simple « duvet » qui ne correspondait même pas à la dimension du lit (je devais me battre avec ma femme pour me couvrir lol) Chambre très poussiéreuse suffisait de regarder sous le lit ou encore au niveau des rideaux ( on ne savait plus leurs couleurs d’origine) Le petit déjeuné n’était pas fameux Le frigo nous réchauffait la pièce et sa lumière bleue était gênante pour dormir La douche n’était pas terrible, suffisait de voir la couleur des joint et des portes de douche Le seul point positif était l’emplacement c’est tout et le personnel qui était plutôt cool

Location was close to major attractions, staff was friendly, roof top dining was good. Only negative was the noise! The Hotel is on a popular one lane road that backs up in front of hotel and there’s constant honking. Then 1 block away is a mosque that blares the call to prayer at 5am and wakes you .

Ottima accoglienza all’arrivo, reception sempre disponibile. La struttura è un po’ vetusta ma ben tenuta. La posizione è ottimale, in pochi minuti si arriva ai principali monumenti ed è anche comoda per prendere tram T1 e raggiungere così altre zone della città. La nostra camera non aveva nessuna vista ma era silenziosa. La colazione si fa in terrazza con bella vista sulla moschea blu, unica pecca molta scelta di cibi salati e poca di dolci. Dovessimo tornare a Istanbul sceglieremmo nuovamente questa struttura.

My room on 5th floor was right below restaurant. There was small staircase that separated my room from the rooftop restaurant. It was very noisy from the afternoon till late night. I complained about the noise from loud music and people talking loudly in the rooftop restaurant...especially late night but nothing was done for all 4 nights i stayed at this hotel. That will deceive people when booking this hotel. This hotel really needs to either close the rooftop restaurant or close all 3 rooms on the 5th floor that are so close to the restaurant. It is not fair that after paying so much money for 4 nights stay, what I had to go through in terms of noise levels in this hotel, especially during each night.
My room on 5th floor was right below restaurant. There was small staircase that separated my room from the rooftop restaurant. It was very noisy from the afternoon till late night. I complained about the noise from loud music and people talking loudly in the rooftop restaurant...especially late night but nothing was done for all 4 nights i stayed at this hotel. Nous avons payé en euros pour 7 personnes, au final 6 places seulement étaient réservées dans le car. Il a fallu attendre un autre transport, qui devait passer récupérer des passagers à l'autre bout d'Istanbul, pour une destination tout autre (l'aquarium). Départ prévu 8h15, à 12h nous étions encore dans Istanbul. 3/4 de la journée étaient perdue. Nous avons exigé un retour à l'hôtel et un remboursement. À FUIR. The hotel manager was very helpful even before I arrived to the property. He arranged transportation from the airport to the hotel. He also arranged two city tours, which were great. I wanted to extend my stay and he graciously accommodated me. Overall, this property is great, centrally located, amazing rooftop views, and friendly staff.

Hard to beat Perula's hotel location, near the main tourist attractions in town. It was great to take a rest at the hotel in-between visits. Used and loved the airport transfer option both ways, fast and on time, great service very useful for people like us first time in town. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast location has a beautiful view of Blue Mosque at Marmara Sea. We had dinner at the same place and we liked the food also.

well located, near to Blue Mosque but in a busy neighborhood, taxi wasn't be able to let us by the door so we had to walk one block with all luggage over stones side walk . Room was too small with no space to fit luggage so it was expensive for that area . dirt under beds and stair walls need some paint. Restaurant has a great view but breakfast is basic

Hotel Perula was the ideal central location for site seeing in Istanbul. The hotel was only a five to ten minute walk from the Blue Mosque and Haghia Sophia and twenty five minutes from Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar. The main tram route was only a short walk from Hotel Perula. We would certainly stay here again.

Very enjoyable stay here in 2019 and have had another great 3 night stay this week. Excellent staff, very helpful. Very clean room, bathroom. Lots of choice for breakfast. Ideal location for everything around Sultanahmet and Metro, Port etc. Love the roof top view from Perula’s dining terrace.

The location is perfect, our room was nice and clean. The AC worked well which we were very happy since it was extremely hot in Istanbul when we were there. As for the price you can not beat it , breakfast is also included an was very good.

Good location, however rooms were very small and quite dusty. We booked especially for the rooftop breakfast however this was extremely poor. The hours are 7.45-10.30am we went at 8.30am and not a lot on offer and was not refilled, I had plain bread with butter. We had coffee and then went out for breakfast.

We had a comfortable stay. The room was clean and cosy and though the air conditioning took time to speed up, once that happened, the temperature was to our liking. The shower was strong and enjoyable but the shower door itself was slightly unhinged. The rooftop restaurant showed stunning views of the Blue mosque. We didn't eat a meal there (aside from the complimentary breakfast) but drinks were expensive. The reception was good at booking us travel back to the airport. The hotel itself could use updated or cleaned carpeting as it looked quite dirty. The fridge wasn't super cold either. The location was fantastic- about 350m from the Blue Mosque and not far from the other attractions either. We'd definitely come back for a short stay with minimal amenities.
