Sasquatch Inn

What guests think

At Sasquatch Inn, travellers describe a quiet, remote setting near nature and golf, compact but renovated rooms, and an attached pub, with consistently friendly staff and straightforward keypad access via the onsite liquor store.

Rooms are generally clean yet small, with recurring noise and temperature-control quirks, mixed pillow or bed comfort, and uneven Wi‑Fi. The pub’s food and drink earn frequent praise, but breakfast service is limited and there are occasional waits or pricing complaints when it is busy. Overall, it suits short stays and laid‑back trips.

Nice, clean, dog friendly!!! 🐶😁 ($20 CAD extra per night). Good internet and tv. K-cup machine, microwave, fridge. Good pub with food and beer. Easy PIN for secure outside door and room door. Only downside, warm, opened window, loud outside from pub kitchen vent. Couldn't figure out AC. Would stay again.

The rooms were nicely done and clean which i liked. The pub had good food. Check in was at the beer and wine store so that was a little confusing. The rooms were small and the doors dont shut very quietly to the rooms so i would imagine everytime we had to let our puppy out in the middle of the night, it probably disturbed all the patrons staying in the lodge. There is a common entry with a code and you have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to the room. All rooms are on the same floor. As for sound proof, it could be better between the walls.

Was a nice stay, rooms are very small, no elevator (not that we needed one but good for people to know), Kleenex in the room would have been nice. Well equipped with microwave, coffee maker and fridge. Very quiet, all in all nothing fancy but good value for the price.Beautiful area!

A quiet getaway with a 5-star (our opinion) tavern/bar right below. We’d go back for the food alone. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We got one of the smaller rooms and it wasn’t a problem at all for 2. The bed was not super comfortable and caused back pain. They had a mini fridge and a microwave, which we used. The AC was amazing.

Hotel is very adequate. Check is in the liquor store, so you have to get there during business hours. There are no keys, but you are given keypad codes for the front and room doors. The best part is the convenient restaurant and bar adjacent to the hotel.

The room is very dirty, the carpet is disgusting the room stinkcked like an old lady died there, in the room where 2 beds where only 3 people could sleep and it was 4 of us we couldn't even sleep normally, the main hotel is dirty and old need remodeling soon, it costed $400 per one night and the breakfast wasnt even included it costed separately $30 per adult $27 per child, the worst experience ever. Quilty doesnt stand the price, i dont recommend ANYONE to stay there. The neighbors were drunk and very loud wouldnt let us sleep at all it was horrible. Dont stay there.

Over all a wonderful place to stay.

Notices were sent by text but not seen until after we couldn't access the room on our return, after midnight. We had to hunt to find cell service. Nitpicks: Room faced the highway. Room was not soundproofed well. Lighting was terrible, bring your own battery candles if you want mood lighting.

The place is in a nice setting and attractive from the outside. We were booked for the first week of Sept, and it was chilly out. The room was very cold, we tried to put the heart on but the control panel showed an error. We went to the front desk only to learn there is no heat available. What!!!! it was 14 degrees out and the room was freezing, they refused to turn on the heat but offered us blankets. we got the blankets and they were horribly stained - not impressed.

The Sasquatch Inn is a wonderful find for those who want to visit Harrison Village without spending an arm and a leg to stay there. It's only 10 minutes from Harrison and there's easy parking. It's a conveniet base for exploring all the scenery, nature, hiking trails, waterfalls, rivers, mountains, etc, in the area.

The food was "just" pub food but it was exceptional pub food. The dry ribs are a must. The smashed taters were so good. My steak was cooked to perfection. The server was great. Blond with the big bubbly personality. The room was simple but nice. I love all the little industrial metal items ie. The lamps, toilet paper roll. Lobe all the lumber and live edge around the property. We will definitely stay again.
