Comfy room and beds, quiet, clean room and we were impressed by the daily cleaning crew with how nicely made up the room was each day. The Inn is conveniently located, and parking was abundant. We wish the room had been more brightly lit, and that there was more substance to the continental breakfast. That said, we would choose to stay at Howe Sound Inn and Brewing Company again.

Decent location and nice hotel. We loved the window seat looking out over the mountains. Check in and parking was easy. We also ate on site at the brewery, which was pretty good. Unfortunately when we arrived in our room it smelled TERRIBLE! We opened both the windows and the door to try to air it out, and at one point were even searching under the bed and in drawers to see if a previous guest had hidden a turd. For reference, we are cattle farmers so we’re pretty used to unpleasant smells at home, but this was bad! The smell eventually got better, but never completely went away.

the property was really old; the stairs were squeky; the room smelled old; the throw pillows needed replacing. the bath tub was not clean, and the water pressure in the shower was slow/weak. there was only street parking for guests which was very limited and so-first come first served. the pub food was decent, and the servers were nice; the check in staff were also pleasant

The place is old and the housekeeers aren’t all that thorough (everything looked fine until we found clothes under the bed. They look to have been there a while so we decided not to touch them. ) There were also no sheets on the daybed in the window seat but our babies with us in this trip were 4-legged and didn’t care. All this to say the bed was comfy, the shower was hot and it’s kind of a novelty to have the restaurant downstairs be an actual brewery. In the grand scheme of things, it’s not fancy, but kind of fun

Great location and views of the Chief. Clean room, nice layout with a daybed by the window in addition to the queen. Small bathroom. Hallway was a bit noisy, not great noise insulation - but you can't hear the restaurant/pub downstairs so that's a win. Would stay again.

I’m impressed! Such a great location, quiet and the restaurant was fantastic! I especially loved the day bed next to the window in the room that overlooked the beautiful mountains and I could even see the Falls. Will definitely stay here again!

Room was a bit smaller than expected for the price. The only reason I mentioned “noise” was because the sound of running/gurgling water was constant (not intermittent or occasional, but constant). I sourced the sound to plumbing (probably a main drain pipe located behind drywall) located just inside the door of my room (#3). The occupants of the neighbouring room mentioned the same sound could be heard in their room. Likely a costly repair (solution) with sound insulation, which is probably why the owner hasn’t addressed it. The free continental breakfast (located in the hall outside the elevator) can be described as the bare minimum to meet the definition (expectations) of a continental breakfast. I enjoyed the scenic mountains surrounding Squamish. The staff were slow and seemingly ignored us at check-in as well as in the restaurant the following morning. Taking 10 minutes to ask if we wanted water after seating. Only 1 other table in the entire place aside from us.

It was an okay stay. The view was fantastic and the food from the pub was great. Only thing that didn’t exceed with our expectation was the customer service of the staff of the hotel. Everyone was either nonchalant or sarcastic when answering question.

Called the Hotel yesterday, prior to making my reservation / wanted to know if the Brew Pub / Patio would be open Wednesday evening - was told “‘It’s summer, we are always open “ Arrived to see a posting on the door , stating that the Brew Pub was closed at 5pm, due to a staff camping event - After waiting 5 minutes at the check in counter, nobody around …. I questioned her as to why I was told that the pub would be open - she stated that “ Maybe it was a last minute decision “ Really ? You’re going to arrange a staff camping trip in less than 24 hours ? Extremely upset, as the Brew Pub is the ONLY reason I stay here - I could have stayed at the Sandman- at least they have AC Come to the Pub often from the Fraser Valley on our Harleys - a great ride - we will have to reconsider our options in the future Poor communication, and even poorer customer service - not impressed whatsoever

Didn't like being charged twice for the room on my credit card to be told it would be refunded in 5 days...We have never had that before. The bill was $373.48 and they also charged us $444.48 both payments have been charged to my credit card. We were told there was a $100.00 damage deposit that would be refunded in 5 days not the whole amount plus $100.00 twice...

All staff were accommodating. It was a convenient place as it was close and within walking distance to town. The only thing we didn't like was that they required a $100 deposit for damage. They gave us a visa receipt for the $100 but when we left they would not give us a credit receipt for the $100. They said oh you will see it on your visa when you get it.

Check in was interesting, front desk did not know check out time so I double checked with hotels.com app. Room was small and perfect, and had an excellent view of the chief. Unfortunately the walls were paper thin and we could hear our neighbours conversations. I was expecting the breakfast to have more options but it was just bread, fruit cups and cereal. Still an alright breakfast was just expecting more. Not a lot of options if you are gluten-free. A nice plus: you get 10% off at the brewery for staying here :)

The location is good but the inn could use many improvements. Breakfast included is out in the hall with no coffee (we were told to use our room machine yuck!) breakfast was a small box of cereal and milk or a dry croissant. I’d recommend they include brewed coffee in the hall with breakfast at the least. We ate several time at the restaurant (which is good) only to discover a sign in the elevator on our way to check out - that if you stay at inn you get a discount. Lastly we parked our car in paid lot across the street and our credit card got compromised so just park behind the inn. Place is pretty basic definitely charge a lot for what it is. Maybe next time we just book an Airbnb instead. Sorry.
