The first impressions were great. Not 5-star, but that is not what I was expecting. But, we very soon learned that the rooms are very tired and in DIRE need of attention. There are holes in the walls from when towel racks have been moved and ill-fitting fixtures (e.g. lights) everywhere. Even with a most cursory view, the people responsible for painting have been haphazard at best (splotches everywhere) and those responsible for tiling in the bathroom should not be hired by anyone. None of the tub fixtures are sealed so who knows how much water is seeping behind the tiles and what mouldy mess is brewing back there. The window and door screens are not at all sealed, making it risky to try go get any fresh air in the room. On a positive note, the breakfasts were fine and served in a very welcoming spot. The view of the lake every morning is also spectacular. But, I STRONGLY recommend the owners of the property spend all winter investing in some professional TLC before anyone considers stays here.

The bathroom tap fell apart and water gushed up in the air, our other unit had no water pressure. Fans/air was very noisy. Great choices for breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was pretty good. The microwave was outside our room which was a little noisy at times.
