Over years I stayed in multiple hotels in Sultanahmet and frankly don't see how this one is better than many others, why are ratings are so high. Positives: - great Turkish service. Had a problem with the room, got changed quickly - location - elevator - clean, fresh Negatives: - rock hard beds - very fat pillows. Asked for something for humans and a couple of normal pillows were provided (see Turkish service in Positives) - a/c did not work (switched off as it is October), making us sleep with windows open. Old town is noisy late. - one of the glasses in the room had a broken edge, this is plain dangerous - breakfast is barely ok, I had much better in Old Town hotels - no power outlet for a phone charger next to a bed, had to disconnect the room phone - no gym. Yes, I know, this is a smaller hotel in Sultanahmet, but it shows 4*. A 4* without even a small gym? So overall a pretty decent place to stay as long as you can live with really hard beds, but exceptional? I don't think so.

Posizione comoda in quanto vicino a Santa Sofia, Moschea Blu, Topkapi ecc ecc. Pulizia veramente scarsa, ho trovato capelli sul letto e peli fra struttura e materasso. Tanta polvere ovunque nella stanza e superfici con macchie di sporco da pulire. Ho dovuto provvedere io. Bagno senza finestra e senza aspiratore. Colazione veramente scarsa, qualitativamente. Letto comodo. In definitiva, non la consiglierei.

well equipped, excellent location, good room, but linen poorer standard than room and there was both no way of not walking grit in from the balcony and no way to clean it up once it was in the room, and the cleaning staff did not clean it either.

The staff at Biz Cevahir hotel was exceptional! They were very helpful and took care of any request we had. The rooms are very clean and having breakfast included was perfect! The hotel location is in the middle of Old City at a walkable distance from major monuments, dining options and tram station. I highly recommend staying at this hotel anytime you're visiting Istanbul. Thank you all!

Le personnel à la réception est vraiment très gentil et agréable. L’hôtel est très très bien situé. Par contre le ménage est mal fait. Les serviettes sont inchangées parfois, la poussière n’est pas faite et la robinetterie est pleine de calcaire. C’est dommage car l’hôtel est beau et les chambres sont très agréables.

I stayed here with my kids for a night as we were transiting to Canada. The front desk staff Mustafa was amazing and very welcoming. He made sure our taxi was booked for the airport the next day, gave us directions to where we wanted to go and suggested a few lovely places to dine at. The property itself is very clean and well maintained, located in a beautiful picturous area with lots of restaurant options and easily walkable to most of the tourist areas. I genuinely wish we had more time to stay there for longer but I'm sure we'd come back very soon. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Das Standard-Zommer ist groß genug, schöne Möbel, sehr hochwertig, es gibt auch ein Fenster, leider ohne Ausblick, für den Preis allerdings okey. Wir hatten danach ein Feluxe-Zimmer, sehr geräumig, toll ausgestattet, großes Badezimmer, insgesamt sehr schöne Zimmer mit tollem Badezimmer.

Sehr nettes, hilfsbereites Personal. Saubere Zimmer und super ruhig. Leider hatten wir ein Zimmer mit Blick auf eine Mauer. Es gibt aber andere schöne Zimmer mit Ausblick auf die Straße. Da es fast ausgebucht war, hatten wir dieses Zimmer.

Luckily I have terrace access. The room was too hot at first and AC temp control was so slow to kick on. By the time we got it going, while we were sleeping, the temp was switched to heater and hot. My husband had to call the front desk and they said they controlled the temperature :((. A+ for location was so close to the Blue Moss and Haghia Sophia. Food around the area was pricey

Felt like the advertising is misleading since only the penthouse rooms have views of the city. My room was looking into the back of an old building. Fortunately I was only there one night. The staff was however superb and made up for it

most of the staff was friendly, one was rude for some reason, should of gotten his name, manager was very helpful and warm, walkable to everything, however my room was very very tight, had trouble opening my suitcases or praying with a mat on the floor, i was by myself, if i had my family with me, we would of been in trouble

The receptionists don’t talk or welcome you much, the main entrance of the hotel was locked once because the receptionist had gone somewhere. Also the AC in the room can only be turned on if you call the reception and ask them to turn it on in your room. Breakfast options was were very limited.

El check in lo realizó un funcionario que estaba dormido en el sofá del lobby, luego que casi no se despierta y muy descortés se para habla mal inglés y se le siente borracho, llegó a la habitación y el baño con pelos por todas partes muy asqueroso, al siguiente día pedí cotizar transporte al aeropuerto y me cotizan 35 USD luego cuando me acertó a resepcion y está otro funcionario cobra 50USD, si no se puede confiar en la gente del hotel en quien confiar ???? No volvería nunca.

The staff at this hotel was amazing; very helpful whenever I approached them with a question. Clean rooms and the décor was very inviting. The location is also the best. It’s a 5 mins walk to many of the must-see sites in Sultanahmet.

Hotel is conveniently located just minutes walking to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Hippodrome etc. Balcony room had beautiful view of The Sea. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Particularly like to mention Cafre for his efforts.

The staff at Biz Cevahir hotel was exceptional! They were very helpful and took care of any request we had. The rooms are very clean and having breakfast included was perfect! The hotel location is in the middle of Old City at a walkable distance from major monuments, dining options and tram station. I highly recommend staying at this hotel anytime you're visiting Istanbul. Thank you all!

They overcharged me once my stay was over. I had paid for the hotel through Expedia, and according to the hotel’s ad on expedia, the hotel was supposed to include drinking water in that payment. But at the end of my stay they claimed that the drinking water should be paid for, and they were not particularly polite about it. I took it as dishonesty. Besides, the front desk clerk wasted more than 30 minutes of my time. On top of all, they would insist on discussing political issues and news with me, which is very weird!

I enjoyed my stay here. The location was perfect for blue mosque, Sofia Hagia, Grabd Bazaar etc with lots of lovely roof top eateries nearby. In particular however what stood out for this property was the daytime service staff at reception - Jafer. He went above and beyond to ensure I had a lovely time, to recommend suitable tours and to be honest about places to visit and the most efficient and affordable way to do so. I think that Jafer was the stand out service superstar

I stayed here with my kids for a night as we were transiting to Canada. The front desk staff Mustafa was amazing and very welcoming. He made sure our taxi was booked for the airport the next day, gave us directions to where we wanted to go and suggested a few lovely places to dine at. The property itself is very clean and well maintained, located in a beautiful picturous area with lots of restaurant options and easily walkable to most of the tourist areas. I genuinely wish we had more time to stay there for longer but I'm sure we'd come back very soon. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.

The staff at this hotel was amazing; very helpful whenever I approached them with a question. Clean rooms and the décor was very inviting. The location is also the best. It’s a 5 mins walk to many of the must-see sites in Sultanahmet.

Hotel is conveniently located just minutes walking to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Hippodrome etc. Balcony room had beautiful view of The Sea. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Particularly like to mention Cafre for his efforts.

Spectacular! The property is in prime location, close to everything important in sultanahmet area, close to the water (10 minutes walk or less), close to Galata bridge. Staff are wonderful and a view you can never get enough of! I highly recommend this property if you are in Istanbul to explore this rich and beautiful city!

This hotel was perfectly situated for what we wanted to do in Istanbul. Close to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Basilica Cistern. Easy walk to Grand Bazaar. The Concierge/Reception was brilliant. We asked about Bosphorus cruises and he advised us well giving us several brochures and not pushing a particular one on us. The room was great - with a great view from the terrace - to the Bosphorus. Local restaurants were an easy walk and offered good selections of well prepared food.

Luckily I have terrace access. The room was too hot at first and AC temp control was so slow to kick on. By the time we got it going, while we were sleeping, the temp was switched to heater and hot. My husband had to call the front desk and they said they controlled the temperature :((. A+ for location was so close to the Blue Moss and Haghia Sophia. Food around the area was pricey

A 2 x day trip in Istanbul, this hotel had a great location to one of the main squares. Reception staff very helpful for Information Very clean hotel and the shower was great The bed wasn’t very comfy and quite small. It was a single to be fair. Breakfast was okay, but not amazing. Would definitely stay here again. Value for money, good staff and location being the main reasons. Please be aware of the restaurants and bars around the area. Definitely out to charge an inflated price if they can get away with it, which is a shame.

Hôtel très bien situé proche st sophie et mosquée bleue . Quartier calme et agréable. Personnel très aimable . Chambre spacieuse. Seul bémol : le petit déjeuner peu . Machine ne fonctionnait pas correctement pendant les 4 jours de notre séjour. Jus de fruit en poudre genre tang . Très peu de choix sur les présentoirs : exemple 1 orange tranchée pour 4 personnes . Obligé de réclamer le réapprovisionnement sans arrêt , idem pour les crêpes et les pan cake . C est dommage

The receptionists don’t talk or welcome you much, the main entrance of the hotel was locked once because the receptionist had gone somewhere. Also the AC in the room can only be turned on if you call the reception and ask them to turn it on in your room. Breakfast options was were very limited.

We had an incredible time at the Biz Cevahir Hotel in Sultanahmet. This is a great, safe location to discover the historic city and close to hundreds of dining options. The staff were all extremely friendly, bilingual (at a minimum) and the breakfast was fantastic. I would highly recommend and would go back without hesitation.

Please stay here and eat next door at Romanas. Location is very old city but hotel is modern, clean and staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had a water view. Lovely. All pictures are accurate. Easy walk to the 2 big mosques and to trams and red buses. Very walkable neighborhood with many restaurants and shops. We will definitely return here.

This is a really nice small hotel within a couple minutes of Sultan Ahmet Mosque (Blue Mosque) and Hagia Sofia. The hotel was clean with extremely helpful staff. Good quite place resulting in a good night sleep. I would have liked to have given the hotel 5 stars, unfortunately my bedroom curtain dropped off and it took someone near an hour to come round only to say they could not do anything until the morning. They had rooms available and I felt they could have provided a temporary move to another room as I could hardly get any sleep for that one night due to light coming into the room.
