Everything was apt. Check in was convenient, rooms were good. They have ample of parking space and a few dining options are just around at walkable distance. Gas station is also on the same plaza so overall we had a very good experience. Breakfast was good as well. It also has a fitness centre that you can avail in the morning. Would definitely recommend this and be here again when in the area.

Property is the best choice in Athabasca. It is aged/older with ample safe parking for larger vehicles and trucks w boats/trailers. Check in was easy, rooms was clean, tv and cable needs updating, ice machine was out of order, breakfast was excellent amd plentiful. We will be back next summer.

The hotel is old and dirty. Bed underneath the memory foam mattress was filled with grit and black spots. Carpet had black spots on it. Shower holder did not work. Sink had calcium build up, thus the water shot out strongly. Doors are not soundproof, my deadbolt lock did not work. The chain lock was hanging by the screws. Neighbor was on the phone till late into the morning. 3-4 am. Soundproofing was poor, I could hear what they were saying clearly through the walls and it stopped me from sleeping. Athabasca has limited dining spots and feels overall unsafe.

Our room was dirty, the carpet was frayed and ripped up, our puppy had found two bugs and an orange round pill with the letter Z on it, the place obviously we had not been vacuumed clean. The mattresses were box springs, and one had a 2 inch memory foam on it. Thankfully, we were only in this place for one night, and probably won’t be staying there again. I understand that we were in a pet friendly room, but our pets are kept cleaner than this room was. I don’t understand why pet friendly rooms have to be the worst rooms in the building. We felt dirty leaving the place in the morning. We didn’t even shower or eat the continental breakfast. I would not recommend this place to others.

When in the bath I looked to the right and could see under the toilet rim had a bunch of black mold. Fridge was wide open so not cold. room smelt heavy with strong air freshener smell. When checking in was told the Wi-Fi details were in a paper with the key. No network or password on the paper. It says see front desk for details about Wi-Fi.

The hotel was typical. Room was nice, bed ok, fridge microwave and a coffee maker are handy. My only complaint was that the TV sucked. Really poor picture. With todays tv services there are many options that provide a reasonable channel selection. However this hotel still has basic cable from 1990.

Such an awful stay. They were at a third capacity (being generous) put all the guests on the same floor. Our atay started off great but then as we were going to sleep (around 130 ish) our neighbors showed up and decided they were going to party. We called down to the desk, a gentleman came to their door and told them they had to be quiet, 20 min pass they start up again. Keep in mind you can hear every word and noise happening on the other side of the wall, and I do mean every sound! My husband called front desk, no answer, some time passes, I go and ask them to be quiet, 20 min later starts up again, husband calls the desk, no answer. This goes on till 430am when we decide to leave. The rooms are deffinot sound proof and they dont have enough staff. Other then that great beds. Pretty clean

Check in was good, front desk was not very friendly but he let us check in w/o credit card for incidental (fully paid from Expedia) with the promise that my husband will stop by to provide the credit card in an hour. Pillows are all shapes and sizes but we brought our own pillows so no issue with that. The bed is hard and memory foam is not comfortable. The room/washroom is clean. The sheets are clean. The wall is paper thin, there was a loud noise that woke us up, like a water pipes banging. In the AM: My daughter is not feeling well so we stayed in the room a bit later, 30 minutes before breakfast is over there is no bacon and sausages, I asked if they will be providing as part of the free breakfast but the front desk said no as the breakfast is almost over (this is 20 mins before the end time) Well there’s still people looking to eat some bacon and sausages. It’s too bad as I was looking forward to having it for my breakfast. Staff are not friendly. It’s a bed to sleep in but for the price I’d book somewhere else.

The staff were extremely friendly! The staff honestly made our stay, housekeeping was so friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was great, it was actual sausage and bacon not just cheap ready crisp stuff. They had lots of options for the waffles, whipped cream, raspberry puree, nutella, sweetened oats. The front desk lady was so friendly. Thank you for making our stay so welcoming!

All of the staff at the front desk, breakfast, and cleaning were extremely helpful, friendly, and efficient. There was one member at the front desk that went above and beyond when I had an issue contacting Expedia regarding a change of dates. After several attempts to get through to speak to an agent, and being unable to make a correction on the APP. She said," she was working on something at the moment, if I could leave it with her." We went up to our room, and shortly afterwards she phoned to say everything was taken care of. The room was quiet, and comfortable. The breakfast included was better than many other hotels we have stayed in. I would highly recommend The Days Inn by Wyndham Athabasca!

I started out annoyed with this reservation, when it took 4 phone calls to get someone to answer. Then when I go to check in, they can’t find my reservation in the system and the front desk was just simply rude about it and made ZERO effort to contact Expedia or investigate further even though I showed her the reservation details. I ended up having to pay again and get a new room and get a refund from Expedia for initial reservation that they couldn’t find. $180 at this hotel gets you a filthy room and bathroom with the worst beds I have ever laid on. I wouldn’t feed the breakfast to my dog. Absolutely deplorable. One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. NEVER AGAIN. Do better Days Inn. I wish I could give it zero stars.

The staff at the Days Inn by Wyndham Athabasca, AB were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, and very comfortable. Very comfortable bed. We slept well because the room was fairly quiet. The breakfast options were very good. The location was very convenient for our needs. The room, and the entire hotel was kept very clean. Gas station is also on the same plaza so overall we had a very good experience. Breakfast was good as well. It also has a fitness centre that you can avail in the morning. Would definitely recommend this and be here again when in the area.

The Inn is just off a major highway which made it convenient for my travel needs. The staff were friendly & helpful. The bed was very comfortable & there was a larger than usual fridge which would have been great had I stayed longer than one night. Air conditioning was easily accessible & adjustable. And the complimentary hot continental breakfast was satisfying. My only‘complaint was with the chairs in my room: the desk chair was not comfortable & the armchair was too low. Otherwise excellent & I would stay there again.

Check in was good, front desk was not very friendly but he let us check in w/o credit card for incidental (fully paid from Expedia) with the promise that my husband will stop by to provide the credit card in an hour. Pillows are all shapes and sizes but we brought our own pillows so no issue with that. The bed is hard and memory foam is not comfortable. The room/washroom is clean. The sheets are clean. The wall is paper thin, there was a loud noise that woke us up, like a water pipes banging. In the AM: My daughter is not feeling well so we stayed in the room a bit later, 30 minutes before breakfast is over there is no bacon and sausages, I asked if they will be providing as part of the free breakfast but the front desk said no as the breakfast is almost over (this is 20 mins before the end time) Well there’s still people looking to eat some bacon and sausages. It’s too bad as I was looking forward to having it for my breakfast. Staff are not friendly. It’s a bed to sleep in but for the price I’d book somewhere else.

At check out I asked if I could get a printed receipt and I was told that wasn’t possible which was new for me. And when I brought up the concerns, they were more or less brushed off. This hotel asks the most money for a room in athabasca but it is not worth the extra go to the super 8.
