Pool and hot tub excellent

Check in was easy. Room was very clean and a welcome sight after a long day and hard travel. The coffee maker is a k-cup style, so if you’re like me and drink coffee by the gallon, bring your own extra pods. The pool area was super clean as well, but not very many pool towels. Hot tub perfect temp. Pool hours from 7am to 10pm. The kids brought their suits and had a blast at the indoor pool while I wrote this review and soaked in the hot tub. Easy, clean, marvelous!

Stayed one night for a basketball tournament, we weren’t at the hotel much but it was great. The covered parking option was a cool surprise.

Friendly employees. Clean environment. Business office has a working printer.

Nice and comfortable, a bit pricey, bar and restaurant open at 5pm close at nine,not much of a menu, you can smoke outside, indoor pool only, would stay again

EZ parking EZ check in. Even received an txt asking if the room was good. Restaurant menu was not that good. So we went to Walk ons. Bar was a normal and good!

All of the staff were so friendly; the check-in people, cooks, cleaners, etc. The place was so clean inside and out. It was a calm environment. They had a really nice pool and spa and a decent fitness area. I would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was great But Hot Tub was shut down a couple times

The room was in great shape and clean but all the carpets in the hallways need a desperate cleaning. Went down to pool and the hot tub water was cloudy and the tile had black grime around it. Pool water was clearer but it needs cleaning also. The tile is filthy dirty!

Felt very safe and secure here. Found easy parking. The room was clean and the lobby spacious and decorated well. Really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Not overcrowded and the right temp. Beds comfy and especially loved the pillows. Great staff, very helpful and kind.

The hotel is going down hill. Our bed spread had hair all over and had to request new. Things just look grungy.

We’ve been traveling to TYLER for several years now and been wanting to try the Hilton Garden Inn. We were there during Thanksgiving, which I understand why their service wasn’t amazing. What we did not like is the water in the shower never did really get hot. There was mold in there and the carpets were kind of gross. We had a dinner at the restaurant and it was nice.

Trash at the entry, dirty floors and the first thing I saw when I pulled in was a dumpster overfilled with garbage bags. Low curb appeal. the elevator base plate on the first floor was broke. Elevators dirty, carpets stained, bathroom floor dirty, broken air conditioner vent. Just looked like a college party had happened there and no one cared to fix or clean up. Was never comfortable sleeping, because it looked like no one cared to clean.

Bathroom smelled like mildew

Lots of hair that was not ours in bathroom, on the floor and in the towels. Nasty carpet in the elevators. Busted Sheetrock around elevator switches.

While the property was visually appealing, there could be serious work done on the cleanliness. The first room we were in, the comforter was covered in black dog hair, the toilet was continously running and the door would not shut properly without a lot of work. We were moved to a second room, where the bathroom smelled as if someone has just gone

The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and professional.

The hotel is very tired and dirty. The most disgusting experience had to be the vomit stained toilet and foul smell. The manager on duty was dismissive, defensive and lacked any sense of sympathy. Never again!

The bed was horrible, it was like sleeping on plywood.

One of the mattress was collapsed on one side and made a noticeable noise when you sat on it.

When I walked into my room it smelled terribly of marajuana. I called the front desk to request a different room and they said they had nothing available. I noticed the room didn't feel very clean. The bed was squeaky and very uncomfortable. Pillows were flat. Not the 'Hilton' experience you expect at all. Very frustrated with my visit.

The property has several pros-easy parking, it was clean, convenient to the area and had great amenities. The shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. There was no musty smell in the room and the bed was very comfortable. However, it is showing its age. The bathroom door had several big gouges and the iron I used was so old that the settings were unreadable. As it only has three floors I found it inconvenient that I couldn’t use the stairs to get to the main floor. The first floor landing only led outside. Also, the lighting in the bathroom is abysmal for applying makeup. It is very dim and there is no additional lighted mirrors available for women to use. Although this is overall a good place to stay in Tyler, I might try a different place next time.

Could hear Highway noise from room. No bath soap in room. Older appearance. No complimentary breakfast. They charge $15 to eat. Older mattress and flat pillows.

The staff (Michael) was friendly and made getting checked in efficient. Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

Staff was outstanding. Room temperature hard to adjust to one temperature. Comfortable bed and decent room amenities.

The hot water was only tepid!

Overall a great stay. The water could have had better pressure and been a little warmer. The front desk staff never told me my room number or tye direction of the elevator to get to my room.

The room smelled musty. The night staff that checked us in, a lady named Jo, was not helpful with issues.

My recent stay at Hilton Garden Inn Tyler was nothing short of a horrifying experience. On October 15 , a complete stranger entered our hotel room in the middle of the night (3 am), standing over our bed. This situation was extremely distressing, and we had no idea who this person was or what her intentions were.   Despite our immediate pleas for help, the hotel staff's response was shockingly inadequate. The intruder claimed that the hotel had taken her money, but the staff failed to address the situation promptly or effectively. We were left feeling vulnerable, violated, and terrified for our safety.   In addition to the distressing incident itself, the lack of appropriate security measures and the hotel's failure to ensure our safety during this incident were deeply disappointing. The entire experience has shattered our trust in the establishment and left us deeply dissatisfied.   I sincerely hope the management takes this matter seriously, conducts a thorough investigation, and improves security measures to prevent such incidents from happening in the future. I would strongly advise potential guests to exercise caution and consider alternative accommodations until these issues are addressed.

Horrible check in! Send us to two wrong rooms that were occupied.

The staff Ms.Jo she was amazing and friendly

This is, by far, the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. The staff was not friendly or helpful (one gave me the most vague directions imaginable to the pool and lacked much knowledge about the area). I was more than willing to let that go, but it went downhill from there. The room was unbearably stuffy and the beds were uncomfortable and hot. My family had a hard time getting to sleep and all of us woke up, several times, during the night. The worst part was when I realized I was having trouble breathing and was unusually congested at 4:00 am, after several hours of trying to sleep. It became clear that we needed to leave. While we were packing up, I shut the bathroom door, but had to open it a few minutes, later. When I reopened the door, the unmistakable smell of mold hit me in the face. Earlier, after swimming, it hadn’t been noticeable to us because we were recovering from the chlorine exposure. When we went to check out, the staff member on duty at that time was unreasonably rude because I had booked through the Hotels.com app and, instead of offering to be of assistance, chose to be obnoxious. I mistakenly thought that a hotel bearing the Hilton brand would be a safe bet. I could not have been more wrong about this location. Thankfully for us, Sleep Inn at 5555 Donnybrook graciously helped us get a room for less than this one cost and we were finally able to sleep. We had to rearrange our plans, but at least we were able to rest.

The service was amazing. The lady working the evening I arrived was incredibly helpful and caring. It was such a long journey for me to get there and she was incredibly accomodating when I arrived. Thank you for your awesome staff and I will definitely return if I am in the area.

The staff were friendly and professional. My family were in town for our daughter’s wedding. After the wedding, the family came to the hotel and wanted to fellowship a little longer. We all met in the lounge area and later to the table section of the lounge to play dominos. We were having fun, the reception staff offered us coffee. Everyone agreed the hotel staff showed great hospitality. She was friendly and considerate. Thank you Hilton!!

The hotel was clean and nice. Tyler is very busy so you still get road noise.

Hotel is nice and quite. Will stay again next time im in the Tyler area.I would maybe recommend during busy arrival times maybe having more then 1 receptionist on duty the line was pretty long when I arrived. Other than that the stay was perfect and breakfeast was great as well.

The room was clean, and the indoor pool was wonderful. Shopping is very close by with lots of good restaurants to choose from.

Nice area. Field to the left for pups. Walking trail right next to hotel. Breakfast too expensive- not worth it.

The hotel itself is showing its age but the staff was great and it was clean and in a good location.

I paid for breakfast and the day I went to go eat they were trying to charge me for everything.

The burger was very tasty. The beds were quite comfortable. The front desk folks were friendly. Wendy, who works in the restaurant was very sweet and helpful.

Breakfast is too expensive and not all items are covered on the buffet. I stayed here so I could go to the bar but they put a limit on how much you can drink? Really ?

Everything was very clean, the property is very well maintained and spacious with several sitting areas in the lobby. Staff at front desk was nice and willing to help different persons whole stay. The food at diner was good. Staff at the bar area /kitchen was not welcoming and service was not great. I felt like I was not welcome to have diner. In the morning at breakfast it was not clear what was included in breakfast and again staff not too welcoming.

Clean rooms, bed uncomfortable. Pool area was flooded. Breakfast overpriced for what they have available. Automatically charged huge tip to breakfast bill but served ourself.

All the staff was great! But the guy Manager of the restaurant that was on duty Friday morning was Excellent; he was friendly and worked very fast. Food was great!! All staff however was friendly and answered/helped with all we needed. Rooms were clean and smelled clean as the staff was cleaning up and down the hallway. Enjoyed the nice sized hot tub which is a sale point when looking for a hotel for me so keep it . The location was great, was close to everything yet off main road enough to be quite and we loved that we had access to a walking trail from the hotel. Would definitely return to this location.
