Pretty nice location, but, other than that, the quality of this hotel was about what I would expect from a $50 motel. The room had a microwave, large fridge, and range, which would have been great if there had been any basic kitchen supplies. Okay yes there was one small bowl, but…no spoons. The window AC was not nearly enough for the size of the room (not a large room, but it has like 12 or 15' ceilings). Our room overlooked a roof, which was taken over by rats at night. They were loud enough to wake you up, and were trying their best to get in through the windows. It doesn't seem like any effort has been made to improve the fit-and-finish of the property in a long time. The peephole was filled with paper, there were unfilled, unpainted screw holes everywhere. Parts of the room had not been cleaned in ages. The bed was not particularly comfortable. If a neighbor closed their door you definitely would know about it. A little bit of effort could have made this a pretty cozy spot and a good value, but it was definitely the type of place that you spend as little time in as possible.

You get what you pay for. Yes, the price is low and the location is very central, but I would not recommend this hotel. The bathrooms were dirty and in very poor condition, and the hallways had old, worn carpeting that looked like it hadn’t been updated in decades. The street noise at night was so bad that we couldn’t keep the window open or sleep properly. We had booked two nights but decided to leave after the first night, even though we couldn’t get a refund for the second night. That says it all. My advice: spend an extra $50 a night and stay somewhere else.

The entrance smells like pee and has needles. So many stairs, not suitable for people with handicaps. Wood so dry, would lit up with a sparkle. Mold in the windows. Cheap breakfast that we had to make ourselves. Some wires visibly went into surchock. The hotel is falling appart and it's impressive I paid 130 for that frl
