The place was in terrible condition. Restaurant never seemed to be open although when we asked they said they closed at 9 but was back at the hotel at around 7. Our toilet kept overflowing and they said they were full and wouldn’t give us a new room, and gave us a mop. Once they realized it would not stop, they gave us a new room! The new room had the first windows pane smashed out and no way can open windows. AC was terrible in new room- noisy and wasn’t cool at all. And that toilet ran all night long- had to turn off the water so we could sleep. Checked out early and didn’t stay the rest of the planned stay and they didn’t care. There’s breakfast but it was usually mostly gone and had been sitting for hours. Was not appetizing at all. Half the hotel was closed due to Reno’s but never saw anyone working in there. Rooms had obvious water damage in ceilings and was patched up poorly. I would not go back here or recommend to anyone to stay here!

Checked in, this hotel is over 1/2 shut down/condemned. Had uneasy feeling checking in (was only place available in town when booking), and then the room was wore down and grungy, T.V. wasn't working and opened the window to find someone passed out outside my window on the grass (appeared on drugs). Called around and found a different hotel due with availability due to a cancellation, so left and stayed there. The hotel refused to cancel or refund, and wouldn't answer calls from hotels.com to confirm the situation. I spoke to the front desk worker before leaving and returned the key, so he knew the situation.

It was okay for one night. The hotel seems to be going through some changes (furniture for sale, restaurant closed, very limited services); all in all, not very attractive. Breakfast was very frugal as well. All could be done much better.

For the price of the room it was what I was expected. They were doing reno in one half of the facility so we wee in the older end. Everyone was pleasant and courteous .

The rooms were not very clean. The property is certainly in disrepair, which is not reflected in the advertising. The sauna/steam room advertised has clearly not been in use for quite some time as it's currently being used as a storage facility. The fitness room is also in disrepair. Overall, for a last minute place to stay, it had clean sheets and a comfortable bed, so it does the job.

The hotel did not meet your expectations. The room itself was decent, although the purple coloured old towels were a bit unusual. The biggest inconvenience was the toilet's extremely low water pressure. Additionally, the lack of an elevator made accessing the second floor quite inconvenient. Overall, the stay felt less than average due to the dated facilities and inconveniences experienced.

The free hot breakfast was very basic. A couple trays were empty when i went to dish up but were refilled quickly when I alerted the staff. Rooms are in need of repair but there does seem to be ongoing renovations going on. Lounge is only open 5:30 to 9:00 PM and despite having restaurant hours posted I never saw it open in the 3 days I was there. Also no elevator on site and many rooms are on the second floor.

The room smelled like urine, mold on the window. Carpet was wet. The hotel itself was very run down. Do not recommend. Hotel staff was nice and trying to be helpful, but no other rooms were available. Had to find a new hotel.

There was a pizza pop left in the freezer of my room. The roof dropped water by the one bed. They gave me dirty blankets the one day. Never brought extra towels. You couldn’t adjust the temperature of the room. It smelled like mould and there was mould in the bathtub/shower. They also would not refund me one night as I had to check out a day early even tho I was giving them over 24 hours notice. All in all would not recommend this place or ever stay there again. It should be closed for health concerns.

Definitely past it’s prime. Probably last it’s prime 30 years ago. Entire building smelled like smoke, common areas and non smoking room. Carpet in room was damp everywhere and never dried. Pillows were actually crunchy, they were nice enough to get us some new pillows. Toilet ran the entire time and sometimes would not flush. Very unpleasant stay. Staff was lovely. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else.

There was poop on the toilet seat and food in the fridge. Front desk lady was annoyed that I called and asked for it to be cleaned. They lock the front doors at 10pm and the front desk lady gets angry when you come and go for cigarettes. The back of the hotel was covered in garbage and there is no room service unless you order 2 hours

Was a bit frustrating as all the lamps were unplugged so had to fumble in the dark to plug them in. Had to get maintenance to fix the heater as it would only blow cold air, once the very kind maintenance guy left and the heater was fixed, every time it kicked in it would make this awful noise until it kicked back off. The tv would turn on but had ‘no signal’ so it didn’t work for the duration of my trip. Although these things were not major issues, it was still quite frustrating. At least the check in was easy and the staff was nice.

Had decent wifi, but no hot water. I informed staff the hot water was not working, and they said maintinance would fix it, but nothing was done. Included breakfast is supposedly served until 9am, but I went to the lobby at 9:02am and there was no evidence food had ever been served there. I'm lucky Wal Mart was 1.2km away so I at least I had canned food to eat while I waited 2 days for the only bus out of town.

Walked in and waited over 10 minutes for front desk person to show up, no bell or buzzer to calll them. Rooms are old. Smell very musty and Smokey. Internet jack hookups don’t work. Light in the bathroom was a fluorescent bulb that was basically a strobe light. Bathtub spout was basically falling off. Picture on 15 year old tv in room all distorted. Couch in room falling apart. Bed unccomfortable. I had a feeling this place would be bad, but all the other hotels around were sold out. Thankfully it was only one night

Rooms were clean but towels were fraying. Carpet and furniture is older. Bed was comfortable but the water pipes were extremely loud every time someone in a neighboring room used the water. Overall could use some updating.

Not the greatest stay. Had very loud neighbors both nights, could hear everything from above us, sounded like elephants stomping around upstairs. Room is ok. Will do in a pinch, but don't expect much.

They defrauded me damage deposit of $100 on visa payment. Unreturned. I did not authorize them to use my Visa card. They made me put $300 cash on top of the $100 security they took without my authorization when I told them clearly, I will pay in cash instead. The heater did not work, the lights did not work. The windows were busted. They only cleaned the room once for a four night stay. Most of the time, there was no one at front desk.

Walked in and waited over 10 minutes for front desk person to show up, no bell or buzzer to calll them. Rooms are old. Smell very musty and Smokey. Internet jack hookups don’t work. Light in the bathroom was a fluorescent bulb that was basically a strobe light. Bathtub spout was basically falling off. Picture on 15 year old tv in room all distorted. Couch in room falling apart. Bed unccomfortable. I had a feeling this place would be bad, but all the other hotels around were sold out. Thankfully it was only one night

Check in was fine, however, the morning staff didn't know how to refund the damage deposit, saying there wasn't one, however, very clearly showing on my visa app that there is one, still haven't resolved getting it back. I went to breakfast at 6:45 and was supposed to be food until 9. Bacon and sausage was gone. When I asked for more, he did go and get me some on a plate, but the hot food holders were left empty and he said no more food would be brought out. A few muffins or pasties or fruit would have been nice. Also, there was nothing in any of the vending machines - all were empty which is pretty disappointing when you don't have any drinks with you. Beds were very comfortable, however, the tv didn't work and had to have someone come in and change the box to make it workable. Bathrooms were clean and working well. Stopper missing from sink, a bit difficult for shaving.

Friendly staff. Convenient location. Tub fixtures needed replacement as they were old and difficult to operate, but worked . Shower curtain was ripped and difficult to close properly. Room was clean and the bed/pillows very comfortable. The iron worked very well which was a great bonus. Would stay there again.

The place was in terrible condition. Restaurant never seemed to be open although when we asked they said they closed at 9 but was back at the hotel at around 7. Our toilet kept overflowing and they said they were full and wouldn’t give us a new room, and gave us a mop. Once they realized it would not stop, they gave us a new room! The new room had the first windows pane smashed out and no way can open windows. AC was terrible in new room- noisy and wasn’t cool at all. And that toilet ran all night long- had to turn off the water so we could sleep. Checked out early and didn’t stay the rest of the planned stay and they didn’t care. There’s breakfast but it was usually mostly gone and had been sitting for hours. Was not appetizing at all. Half the hotel was closed due to Reno’s but never saw anyone working in there. Rooms had obvious water damage in ceilings and was patched up poorly. I would not go back here or recommend to anyone to stay here!

The property was poorly maintained! Continental Breakfast was very bare minimum. Old boiled eggs sausage links dry hash browns and warm beans. Minimal cereal station with toast and coffee. There was tea selection available but you have to ask for hot water that was only from the tap! Definitely wouldn’t recommend!

They advertise for complimentary hot breakfast buffet but they did NOT provide a hot breakfast because i was the only person staying there. At least give a gift card for a restaurant nearby in these cases. Remove that off the amenities.

Was the only place with availability, was extremely overpriced for what it was. Was very dirty, blood stains on the curtain, stains on the chair and bed. No cooling in the room that worked. Had to get them to come fix the light in the bathroom when I first showed up because that didn’t work. Would not recommend even if it was half the cost.
