New place converted mill. Still doing some construction. Rooms nice. Check in is in an office down hall. Would be nice if this was where you walked in and constantly staffed. Bar to open in October. Quick walk to town.

The staff was very welcoming and the property although still undergoing renovations was tidy and architecturally interesting. All common areas and our suit were clean. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the free parking for both vehicles. The location was pretty with the downtown and walking paths close by.

Once this property is completed, it will be very nice. It is far too early to be having guests stay as it is still majorly under construction and there is a lack of attention to the guest experience. The floor in our room wasn’t very clean. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything on your floor and the floor above you. The room has a full kitchen including a stove!? But lacks a comfortable place to sit. There is no useable outside space around the hotel as it’s a construction site. The highlight was the restaurant Copper Still down the road which has a great patio with lovely views of the water.

Great location, clean room and helpful staff. If all constructions and renovations were completed, I guess the price would be 20%+ higher. :) But still worth to back again in the future.
