I booked this property in part because one of the listing photos clearly showed a swimming pool. Unfortunately, that photo is misleading as there is no pool on the property. The property itself is really more of a motel than a hotel, with rooms opening directly onto exterior walkways/balconies. That alone wouldn’t have bothered me, but discovering that one of the advertised photos simply wasn’t accurate immediately made me wonder what else in the listing might not be as represented. Overall, the stay itself wasn’t terrible, but the misleading photo left a bad impression and made it difficult to trust the listing. Because of that, I’m not sure I would book this property again.

The breakfast is fabulous. The staff were responsive to a TV problem and fixed it quickly. It was a great place to stay.

Outside of property was quite dirty. Lots of dirty pick-up trucks and working men who apparently litter. Not scary, just dirty. The inside of the lobby, our room, and the restaurant were 5 stars. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Great towels, I love the soaps, shampoo, conditioner in shower all in refillable wall containers. Recycle trash can in room which is a plus. Very close to loud highway so k wore earplugs. But the location was super convenient Doubt I’ll ever drive the Alaska Highway again, but I’d stay at Coast Dawson Creek if I did.

We stayed in this hotel on our way to Alaska. Our room was clean and quiet. It was close enough that we could walk to downtown and restaurants. The made to order breakfast was a welcome surprise.

The staff and the breakfast was amazing however there were no blow dryers in the rooms I’d booked and only one small mirror in the bathroom! I would suggest a larger mirror over the vanity in the bathroom and a full length mirror in the room. Also adding a blow dryer to each bathroom!!
