Clean hotel with great staff. Renovations are underway but not disruptive. Suggest you get a room away from the ice machine. Lots of contractors here who load up their coolers early in the morning and the machine tries to keep up, dropping ice and making noise. Just a heads-up.

The pool was unsafe to swim in. I called ahead to check the status of the pool prior to booking and was told it was good to go. We got here and after swimming for an hour someone came out and said the pool was closed for cleaning and would not open until the next day. This was at 4:30 pm. Another employee told us it has not been open yet this year because of chemical issues and will not open until maybe later next week. We booked this hotel specifically for the pool. The worst part is the kids swam in it for an hour before someone came and closed it down even thought they knew it was unsafe to swim in it.

The front door and lobby felt like a side door. Very small lobby. There was no parking in front so I had to around back. Unfortunately I did not ask about the elevator location. It was late, we (me, my elderly mother and 10 year old daughter) had been flying all day. We all entered through the back door. Trying to be quiet and respectful of others sleeping. We couldn't find the elevator and we were on the 3rd floor. I ended up hauling everyone's bags up all 3 flights, and then my daughter found it down the hall and around the corner.

We booked this Hotel for the weekend with the outdoor pool the contributing factor for our stay. Pool was closed, despite signs in and around the Hotel indicating that the Pool would be open and ready Mid June 2025. Our smoke detector went off in our room ten minutes after a shower. There’s no ventilation in the bathroom. The noise level interrupted our sleep, the outside door was right below our room, each time the door was used it shook our room.

Family came to Burlington for sports weekend and this was a hotel we chose for convenience and pool. Once we got there we were told by teammates and family that the pool was not in service. When I asked about it upon check in the front desk confirmed it and that "they had hoped the pool would be open". TBH, the outdoor pool was a key selling point. Others we know promptly checked out and booked elsewhere, we didn't feel like hassling it. The room was decent, nothing special or terrible. Beds are soft. AC worked. The sink didn't drain well, couldn't open it to let the water through. I told the front desk on check out.To our dismay we found a cockroach in shower. Needless to say, we didn't eat breakfast there the next day.

This property seems to have some water damage that was visible in the hallways and the room smelled very musty because of it. The flooring is old and could use some love. The staff was polite and for one quick night it was fine and had a good breakfast.

The property is generally well maintained and we enjoyed our stay. Our only complaint: The top sheet on the bed had a very obvious—even if small—blood stain on the corner of the sheet. An attentive housekeeper would have caught it and would not have put the sheet on a guest bed.

I like proximity to the highway but very easy to miss the hotel coming from the highway, had to mutton around, got used to it after that. Facility is quite clean. Room is a little small than expected. I booked for 4 people, 1king size bed but the pull-out sofa was twin size, luckily, there was only 3 of us. Morning staff quite pleasant, afternoon/evening staff not so.

I found the stay quite comfortable and am pleased to note - the room interior was soundly constructed. Door is built so hallway activity cannot be heard as much as in other hotels. Earth tone color schemes; the carpet is both deep and light grey, complements the furnishings. framed artwork has a “nature” theme. Pleasant, professional staff.

The property was clean. We checked into our room, completely unpacked then went out exploring the area. Only later did we discover that the toilet sounded like a jet engine when flushed and would not stop. The staff was helpful and assigned us a new room. In the new room, the airconditioner did a good job of cooling but didntl't do a good job of dehumidifying the room. Since it was extremely humid, all our exposed clothes felt almost damp in the morning. Also, the TV was very small and during a storm lost the signal on all channels for an extended period.

When we walked into the room, we discovered that it wa as super small and only had a king bed in it instead of including the pull out couch as I reserved. There was less than two feet to walk around the whole bed and the bathroom was so small that you had to get creative to be able to get far enough in to be able to close the door behind you. Overall, we were not happy with our stay and will likely not be staying in another Fairfield Inn.

The person who checked us in was lovely.When our first room smelled horribly of marijuana she switched our room.The people running and screaming in the hall until all hours of the night made it so none of us slept.They broke a light fixture in the hall and left broken glass everywhere.My husband tried to call the front desk but our phone didn’t work.He used his cell phone and asked if they could do something about the noise as well and they said no. The cable went out as well.The pool cut all the kids’ feet because it was so sharp like rocky sandpaper.The person putting breakfast out was very nice but they hadn’t prepared for a “sold out” weekend and couldn’t keep up with the demand.There was also only decaf coffee and after being kept up 2 nights coffee was needed!For the nearly $1000 for 2 nights we expected way more from a Marriot chain hotel

The entire stay was great, the room was clean and the breakfast was terrific. HOWEVER I had to dispute a $60 charge to my credit card when we got home. We used no services and the entire stay had been paid for on Hotels.com. Bad show.

Our room was ridiculously humid. Our clothes felt damp and the wood in the room smelled bad because it was rotting. There was no fan in the bathroom and the bathroom door didn't close properly. Breakfast was convenient, but nothing special. My biggest beef with this property is the $20 charge for services not rendered (high speed internet which I did not use and a beverage from their Market which I did not take). They didn't tell me about this charge at checkout, and I didn't find out about the charges until I returned to Canada. I called and spoke to someone at the hotel who seemed to genuinely care. He advised that he would get back to me within a couple of days. He did not. The hotel did not respond to subsequent calls or emails. Marriott's Customer Service was of no use, and they directed me back to Expedia. Expedia was, unsurprisingly, unable to help. Fortunately MasterCard's Customer Service refunded me the fee. Oh, and the hotel's pool was closed but we did not find out about this until we were there and saw that it was closed. This hotel's location is convenient but I will never stay here again.

Ill say it again, Donna is lovely and accommodates my need to be by lobby each week. Additionally, i injured my foot and she went upstairs and packed a huge bag of ice allowing to fully submerge my foot. She really came through for me at time i needed help. There's a lady in the morning as well as another night guy who have only been pleasant and cheerful in our interactions. Thank you all.

Good: this is very convenient -- just off I-89 at VT Rte 2A. It's also near shopping, and not far from the Burlington Airport. Areas for improvement: (1) There was a light only on ONE side of the bed. Furthermore, the lighting by the bathroom sink was inadequate to put in my contacts. (2) It's REALLY difficult to find this hotel at night, made even more difficult when it's raining. There's only a small sign marking the hotel (and it's unlit) placed around 200' back from Rte 2A. If we hadn't been using Waze, we probably still would be looking for the hotel!
