Very family friendly, helpful staff, and surprisingly tasty breakfast! We also appreciated being able to charge our EV car overnight. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Burlington! 10 minutes to downtown Burlington.

As an infrequent Wyndham guest, I was unaware Hawthorn and La Quinta are in bed together. No mention of La Quinta involvement on Expedia. So, when I arrive on a rainy night, strictly relying on GPS in an unfamiliar area, it was confusing to find a LQ sign on the building I had been looking for. No mention of Hawthorn Inn. After a lot of excess driving, my copilot finally saw the name - in letters no more then a quarter the size of LaQuinta - at the very top of a 4-story building that had no access to the property on that side! If the Wyndham brand manager for Hawthorn is competing with the manager for LQ, they’re losing badly.

The entire experience was great. The staff was friendly and we appreciate the breakfast service/menu selection. One concern is regarding the shower faucet. It lacked pressure and made for a less than ideal bathing experience. Also EV charging station does not have the charging adapter to accommodate charging different types of EV cars. For example Tesla Model 3’s.

Great little hotel. Very clean room and comfy bed. A little confused upon entering as the front sign reads “La Quinta.” Found out that the hotel is both La Quinta and Hawthorne Suites. Breakfast was very basic, so don’t expect anything grand.

Very nice, comfy beds and very clean. Only negative… it was a bit confusing because the hotel said La Quinta. I guess it was marked Hawthorn on the other side of the building. Highly recommend this hotel.

This was a generally nice place but the room darkening shade did not work - it was electronic - so it was kind of bright. Also the cleaning crew left bar soap from the last guest in the shower. Not a huge deal - otherwise very nice and safe and clean. Easy in and out. Great price

I am asthmatic and the smell of animal urine and cat dander made staying at this hotel very uncomfortable for me. Staff were friendly and apologetic but I paid over $840 for a two night stay and could barely stand to be in the room. It was very unfair.

This property was nice, however when we checked in our room smelled of pot. I tried to get a new room but was told it was sold out. So we had to keep the room and slept in the freezing temps with the windows open. There were definitely people smoking in rooms around us.

Nice and clean with kitchenette. Unfortunately the people staying above us seemed to start a gymnastics meet every night between midnight and 6am and the pounding on the ceiling was horrible not sure if it was lack of insulation or if the people were actually jumping up and down all night.

Very clean and convenient location. Decent breakfast, friendly staff. There is no carpeting in the rooms and all night long the people above us stomped across their room… I don’t know what the heck they were doing, but it was very loud. Also, our shampoo and lotion bottles were completely empty. Other than that I would stay here again but I would ask for the top floor.

We had serious problems with front desk staff upon check in . She did not listen, charged my debit card instead of our credit card, charged the wrong amount, which resulted in a $1500 hold on my account. We waited at check out because it wasn’t resolved and needed a letter for our bank releasing the hold. We waited three hours. Our night stay should have been free for all of the mistakes and inconvenience. Horrible, unprofessional……

We were impressed from the minute we arrived until the minute we left. The room roomy and comfortable and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying again on our next visit to Burlington.

The floors are very thin and you can hear the people walking in the rooms above you. Also, when I was taking a nap in the room one of the staff tried to use their key card to enter the room despite the fact that the do no disturb sign was posted. The room condition is very good, beds comfy, kitchenette excellent.

The rooms were very nice and well set up. Only issue was checking in that the room wasn't ready when I arrived at 2:30pm and was told it would be another 45 minutes. Came back an hour later and still not ready. Got in to room at 4:45PM. Other than that, the room and Desk personal were great.

Very clean, staff was friendly, asked which credit card we wanted to place a hold on for security deposit. Shower and towel were nice. Beds very comfortable. Price was great compared to other hotels in the Burlington area. Will be back for sure.

This room was over $450.00 …the only available room around town. We thought it would be luxurious. They put us in a handi cap room with an air conditioning system that sounded like a freight train. The hotel is actually a La Quinta….not a Hawthorn Extended stay. Management did nothing to help us and was rude to both us and the staff at Hotels.com. It is a shame that a Company has no conscious about ripping people off. DO NOT STAY HERE…you would be better off in your car.

The property is well maintained but did not enjoy the amount noise created by the nearby road as well as noise that could be heard whenever somebody walked down hallway or floor above. The breakfast was very average with just basic items when compared to other hotels. Will look to stay elsewhere next trip.

Wonderful stay at this hotel! So clean, so comfortable, great room, great shower, great breakfast (watermelon, eggs and sausage, yogurt, make your own Belgian waffles)! It felt like an oasis after a terrible 20 hour of travel! Thank you! Highly recommend and would stay again!
