This hotel is perfectly situated in the old city. In a cobbled street nesr a number if resturants and only 5/10 minutes walk from the sultanahmet square and a lovely little bazaar. The room was brightly decorated and equipped with a small fridge and air con . The bed was large and comfortable. Towels were changed regularly and tolietries provided. A couple of days water was left for us too. The buffet breakfast was excellent , with a large range of foods available , as well as hot drinks. Staff were very helpful , arranging our airport transfer out too . The roof top terrace had chair's and tables up there and the views were stunning . The blue mosque from the back abd the Bosphorus from the front . Why not 5 ou of 5 then ? The room was very small very little room for all our clothes ( maybe i took too much ) The stairs to the roof topbterrace need lighting at night ...it felt tricky to get up and down. Definitely recommend the hotel though

Lovely little hotel in an excellent location, plenty of restaurants all within a few minutes and both the blue mosque and hagia sofia are less than 10 minutes walk. Excellent roof terrace with a gorgeous view of both the sea (we saw dolphins very clearly every night up there) in one direction and the blue mosque right behind. It doesn’t seem to be very well advertised because we were the only ones on it every time! Only thing that could be improved is if they had a bar up there! Luckily there’s mini markets nearby so you can bring some soft drinks up easily enough. Excellent value for money and very pleased with the whole stay.

This is an excellent option for being in the heart of Istanbul old town. The location is perfectly situated for seeing a lot of the major sites. Close to major transportation hubs giving great access to this amazing city! I highly recommend this hotel. Great host and roof top view of the waterway.

We spent 3 nights at The Apex and couldn't have been happier. Aziz & the team were welcoming and nothing was to much trouble. The property was excellently located and well presented & maintained. A large roof terrace gave stunning views across Sultanhamet The complimentary breakfast really set us up for a day's sightseeing. Overall, I would highly recommend the Apex to anyone planning a visit toold town Istanbul.

Personalen var Mycket hjälpsamma och trevliga. Bra läge nära Hagia Sofia …. God frukost. Men om du är 55+ som oss, tänk att hotellet har ingen hiss och gatorna i Istanbul är uppför och nedför backen och gå till och från hotellet var mycket besvärligt.

Stayed in a deluxe room with a sea view on top floor. Spacious and AC works well. Bathroom on smaller side by sufficient. The included breakfast is a true Turkish breakfast feast of buffet offerings. Staff is very friendly and service oriented. Lots of dining options in area. Rooftop terrace has great views of the Straits/Asian side of city and Blue Mosque which is especially scenic at night when it is lit up. This is a great value stay in Sultanahmet area and walkable to the mosques and palace. Encourage you to use nearby trams which connect to Metro and suburban railways - all of which are safe and clean.

Die Unterkunft hat mir im ganzen guten gefallen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Die meisten können gutes Englisch. Daher ist bei der Kommunikation kein Problem. Am Tag meiner Abreise würde mir extra Frühstück vorbereitet (Abreise war um 7:30 Uhr). Normalerweise beginnt das Frühstück erst um 8 Uhr. Die Zimmern wurden jeden Tag gesäubert. Kurze Zusammenfassung Vorteile: • gemütliches Zimmer • tägliche Reinigung • Preis-Leistung passt • nettes Personal, die auf Wünsche eingehen • zentral Nachteile: • Zimmer sind nicht schalldicht • Frühstück monoton. Es ist jeden Tag das gleiche • Der Safe im Zimmer ist sehr "billig". Da habe ich meim Geld nicht aufbewahrt • Die Dachterrasse ist unglaublich, jedoch wird sie nicht effektiv vom Hotel benutzt: es fehlt an Beleuchtung und man kann dort oben nur sitzen und die Aussicht genießen. Andere Hotel haben daraus eine Lounge gemacht. Das ist aber wirklich kein Nachteil. Die Aussicht ist sber unglaublich schön. Einfach selber essen mitnehmen und dort essen.

The room was very full of dust and the sockets in the room where broken too. The personnel the early shift was nice the night shift the personnel was rude. The breakfast options are excellent and all in all I would not book it again but for that price it was okay like it wasn’t horrible it had its benefits and disadvantages

We loved our stay at Apex Hotel, the staff were so friendly and the rooms are cleaned daily, with fresh towels and bottles of water provided. The location is great and a very short walk to Sultan Ahmet square, which is very convenient for transport. Highly reccomend!

Waren fünf Tage dort. Sehr nettes kleines Hotel. Das Personal sehr, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind klein aber ok. Die Bäder, allerdings, wir hatten zwei Zimmer, sehr verschimmelt, teilweise unsauber. Duschen fast unmöglich, Wasser heiss-kalt in sekunden schnelle. Das musste gemacht werden. Ansonsten, Lage des Hauses, Frühstück usw. Alles super!

L’hôtel est très bien situé et on peut tout visiter à pied. Cependant c’était assez bruyant dans la rue le soir. Le personnel était accueillant est à l’écoute. Cependant il y avait quelques problèmes on peut regretter: l’odeur dans la salle de bain; difficulté de régler l’eau chaud de la douche. La chambre était grande avec un grand lit mais les couvertures étaient petites et on était obligé de demander une couette (qui était trop petite aussi).

If visiting mosques, clean and well appointed rooms. Shower had plenty hot water. Some street noise at night. The tv near the bed had a standby led that flooded the room with blue light at night. Not great. Staff pleasant.

Very convenient location walkable to many of the main attractions, friendly staff and a good breakfast to start the day. Was great to receive free bottled water most days. The room was exceptionally warm but after running the air conditioning for a couple of hours it got a lot cooler. Facilities were generally good although some shower fittings were a little loose.

It was hard to find eventually had to get a taxi and even he didnt know where it was located. The new manager Yunis was very pleasant. The drawback was my room was on the ground floor and next to the lift and toilet making it noisy especially late at night.

Amazing breakfast. Best we had in Turkey! Hotel staff were very pleasant- held our bags for two days while we went to Cappadocia and helped us arrange things for airport transfers etc. The view from our room was beautiful- we had the ocean and Mosque view. I would stay here again!

Not that good experience staying 4 nights in this like family run business type hotel according to the reviews . Breakfast is the best part; however, no heating system is provided inside the room, it is cold without enough clothes while you are staying inside the room. For shower, it is hard to adjust to the best water temperature after many attempts. Noise proof between rooms are very poor. The poorest part is no credit card can be used. You have to pay in cash. The staff are all friendly and helpful.

Comfortable room, if a little small--but I didn't expect anything big from an economy room. Diverse breakfast options. The location is great; you're a 10 minute walk from Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, and Topkapi Palace, and a 15 minute walk from the Grand Bazaar and the Archaeological Museum. The service was phenomenal. Every single staff member was so kind and helpful, from greeting me every time they saw me to helping me communicate with Turkish-speaking tour guides and offering suggestions about sightseeing. Truly awesome people.

overall good experience. two of the staffs were very helpful and nice: Abdullah and Sokufe. Hotel owners should know that having staffs that are relax, have a smile and love helping is one of the main things that makes a trip nicer for people. One of the night staffs that was there would not even say hi to us when we greet him.

This is a lovely BnB with very kind and welcoming staff. The breakfast is amazing and the decor is charming. The room was fine for our stay, very warm with a cute balcony. It may not be luxury, but it is homely and practical, and the location is perfect for exploring the main attractions of historical Istanbul.

Muy buena atención. Desayuno muy bueno. Muy cercana a la zona de aya Sofía, mezquita azul, etc. La estación de tranvía sultanahmet está a solo unos 8 o 9 minutos a pie.

Siamo stati molto bene la struttura è comoda la.posizione ottima e il personale gentile. Se devo fare un appunto un pò di manutenzione in più (la campana della doccia era rotta) e forse un pò più di varietà nella parte dolce sulla colazione, ma nel complesso siamo stati molto bene.
