Hampton Inn & Suites Albuquerque-Coors Road

Everything was great except…. The hot tub is broken and the pool is cold… like really, really cold. We were told the place would undergo a renovation soon, hopefully they start there as we were here for only one night and picked it due to location and pool/hot tub. Service was excellent otherwise. Breakfast was great. Coffee was tasty.

Front desk service was amazing, especially Will. Very pleasant stay. It was nice that there was an actual peloton bike. Pool and hot tub are good sizes. Breakfast was hot and fresh.

The hotel was clean. The only problem I had during our stay was that the elevator worked when we got there but didn’t work the next day. I usually take the stairs anyway but it was just inconvenient when checking out trying to bring luggage down from second floor and we had quite a bit. The jacuzzi wasn’t working either in the pool area. Other than that, it was a decent stay.

Picked hotel for hot tub, breakfast and dog friendly. Hot tub was not working, also one elevator out of service.

The hotel was great. The elevator wasn’t functioning, but the front desk staff was working with everyone who was checking in to find a room that would work for their needs given the situation. Our studio was spacious, clean, and comfortable, breakfast was great, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The only reason for the lower score is the neighborhood. Driving into the hotel, there were several groups of homeless people lining both sides of the street, and the numerous signs saying the hotel was not responsible for damage to our car parked in their lot did not help put us at ease. From speaking with locals, this is not unique to this portion of Albuquerque. Just be cautious when parking to make sure you take everything in with you and lock your doors.

Only one of the elevators were working. Our room had a long split in the paint over the bed, and there was a hole in the sagging paint (it appeared to have been that way for a while). The bathroom door would not close. It was dragging or sagging somewhere and would not close. It also seemed to be that way for a while.

Elevator was broken. Had to carry our luggage up three flights of stairs. Hot tub and swimming pool were out of order. There was a horrible smell. Then our room was directly under a spot light that beamed in the window. Should have booked at a different hotel for the price. Not worth it.

The entire bottom floor of this property smells like mold. We were placed on a pet floor, but the smell of urine instantly hit you in the face as you got off of the elevator. There is also mold all over the ceiling in our bathroom.

The decor of the rooms appears decades out of date The first room was moldy, baseboard in the bathroom were laid against the wall, the room was in poor condition. They switched us to another room with the same decor but no mold smell. The area around is not very nice

The bathroom was horrible. The floor tile separated from the grout, and there were large portions of missing grout. The check-in/check-out staff were friendly and, frankly, the best part of the stay. The breakfast was poor, with most bread/pastry items very stale. The egg omelet looked like fake, colored egg.

I WOULD NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY AGAIN. THE HOTEL IS RUN DOWN. THERE IS NO VENTILATION OR AIR CONDITIONING IN THE HALLWAYS OR NEAR THE ELEVATORS. WHEN WE CHECKED IN THE ROOM, I CALLED THE OFFICE AND ASKED FOR A FLOOR ROOM, AND I WAS TOLD THAT WOULDN'T BE A PROBLEM. WHEN WE CHECKED IN, WE WERE NOT ON THE FIRST FLOOR AND I WAS TOLD THERE WERE NO MORE ROOMS AVAILABLE. THE ROOM WE WERE CHECKED INTO WAS MISSING THE PRIVACY SHADE, AND IT WAS LAYING ON THE FLOOR. I CALLED THE FRONT DESK TO LET THEM KNOW, THE LADY WAS VERY APOLITICAL BUT WAS AWARE OF THE SHADES BEING TORN AND SOME MISSING. SHE HAD MENTIONED THAT IF WE WERE NOT SATISFIED WITH THIS ROOM, SHE COULD USE IT FOR ANOTHER FAMILY THAT WAS BOOKED FOR ROOMS THAT WERE SUPPOSED TO BE AJOINING BUT WERE NOT AT THEIR CHECK IN. WE AGREED TO THE OTHER ROOM, WHICH WAS A LITTLE SMALLER. I AM SHOCKED AT HOW UNCLEAN THE ROOMS WERE FOR THE PRICE THAT WE PAID. THE STUDIO ROOM WITH A KING BED HAD A COUCH IN IT, WHICH WAS STAINED AND SMELLED GROSS. I PUT TOWELS DOWN ON IT SO I COULD SIT. THE BATHROOM GROUT AND TILES WERE COMING UP AND LOOSE, AND I WENT TO CALL THE FRONT DESK TO SEE IF WE COULD CHANGE TO ANOTHER ROOM, BUT THE PHONE IN OUR ROOM DIDN'T WORK AT ALL. THERE WERE RANDOM WHITE STAINS ON THE DOOR TO THE BATHROOM. CARPETS WERE DIRTY. I WENT TO THE BATHROOM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND CUT MY LITTLE TOE ON THE BATHROOM FLOOR. LAST BUT NOT LEAST, I WOKE UP WITH RED LITTLE BUG BITES ON MY LEG, AND SO DID MY HUSBAND.

The rooms smelled musty. We had to open a window to air out the room. The bathroom tiles were all broken and it felt like the tub might fall through the floor, it creaked when taking a shower. Only 1 elevator worked. The place needs major renovations.

Staff was very friendly, the bed was comfortable. However, our ceiling had had a leak and there appeared to be mold, and the bathroom tub appeared dirty and moldy in multiple places as well.

when you first enter the lobby, there was a strong smell of mildew. There is only 1 elevator working. The maid said the second elevator hasn't worked in YEARS. The rooms and hallways are tired and it's time for a refresh. I usually know what I'm going to get when I book Hampton. This is not what I was expecting.

Travelers should be aware that this Hampton Inn is definitely showing its age in terms of peeling wallpaper, worn carpeting, and very outdated room furnishings. The extra expense associated with a Hampton Inn stay as compared to the budget hotels that surround this property was not worth it. Additionally, staff appeared to be poorly trained - we were billed twice for the same room and it took multiple calls and almost two weeks to get the erroneous duplicate charge credited back to our card.

The mattress was very uncomfortable.

Overall, our stay was good. There are a few things that could have been better… Some of the tiles in the bathroom were loose and the tub must’ve not been installed properly because there was an area that made a crackling sound when showering. The room door needs attention/some kind of sound dampening because it did not close slowly. It just slammed shut and it was very loud.

Newer hotel with attractive lobby. Room was clean and spacious. Only complaint was a street light right outside our window and blind wouldnt pull down so room was lite ip all night. Otherwise a good stay.

Our first room (316) was unacceptable, due to a loud hum in the room that was disturbing and the ac did not work. We requested a second room which was acceptable, but dated, bed was uncomfortable, bathroom had no fan.

A little worn and noisy for the price.

The room was very roomy and comfortable. Our room faced I-40, very noticeable traffic noise. The ceiling apparently had a leak, but they did not repair the drywall and it really looks bad. It shows badly. I tried to take a photo, but the site did nit wirk. Otherwise loved the room. Great breakfast.

Our room had a large gash in the ceiling. We couldn’t get the blinds down at night. The ice machine on our floor was not working. I had to go to a different level to get ice. The person at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was well stocked and tasty.

The tiles in the bathroom were broken and wobbled. The doors SLAMMED shut and were very distracting while trying to sleep.

The WiFi was horrible. I guess if you join Hilton Honors Club, better WiFi??? The bathroom was equipped for handicap persons. Wasn’t told that nor wanted that.

Front desk was less than helpful and waited over 15 mins before anyone showed up to check us in. In the room the thermostat did not work at all. Hot water in the morning lasted only a few mins and when I contacted the front desk, they said they’d notify the maintenance dept. but they would have to come in my room to fix the problem, at 630 in the morning with shampoo still in my hair I opted to to take an ice cold shower rather than have maintenance men in my room while I was trying to get ready. Will not stay at this hotel again.

When we arrived at the hotel, which we stay at frequently, we were dealing with a broken down car, a long tow from the middle of nowhere, and a UHaul trailer that we no longer had a vehicle to tow it with. A member of the hotel staff, Adel, was fantastic. She kept watch over our trailer while we were trying to arrange alternative transport, helped direct us to various places in the area to solve our immediate needs, provided water while we were unloading and reloading the trailer into a truck, and she is an absolute credit to the Coors Rd Hampton Inn. Thank you!

Adel was a great staff member, greeted with a warm welcome and set us up with a wonderful suite and had cookies and coffee and made our check-in best we’ve had in a long time. We will definitely recommend Hampton Inn and Suites and stay here again.

We checked in and the desk told us that they had to check on room availability. After sitting there for 20 minutes I ask how the room was coming and they had forgotten about us. They were nice but still…..

William Garcia at the front desk was AMAZING! Really knew how to help a tired traveler. Hotels.com messed up my reservation. He spent a good half hour on the phone with them getting it fixed. After it was all resolved he gave me a much better room than I expected. Give that man a raise! And Hotels.com please stop auto-filling in dates! You have no idea when I need a room.

The staff was excellent. Brandon, the night staff who checked us in went above and beyond. The breakfast was pretty good and well staffed. Room was clean.

Had to check in late. Overnight front desk staff was difficult and rude. He mumbled and I leaned in to hear him and he treated me like was stupid, hyperemphasizing each word instead of just speaking up. Elevators were broken. Next morning no hair dryer. Called the front desk. Had to call back. Guy told me to come to the lobby to get it. I had just gotten out of the shower. He told me he couldn’t leave the desk. I went down. No one at the desk but three employees smoking outside. Had to practically beg to get a zero out receipt. Hotel is old and run down. Won’t do this again. Not the Hilton standard that I expect as a gold member.

Convenient to I40, very quiet, not far from a good choice of restaurants, nice breakfast. A little older of a facility, but nice. Indoor pool, exercise room, very nice breakfast room and lobby.

Easy on and off the highway. Multiple dining options.

The property is located right next to the freeway, so very loud all night long. Also a large amount of homeless folks around the area , so very concerned to go out for a walk at night .

Great location right off interstate

Rough neighborhood area but the hotel has security that monitors the parking lot every hour. The hotel was clean and nice and breakfast was good.

The property itself is nice as long as you stay inside. I come here once or twice every year. The neighborhood has deteriorated greatly, however. Junkies, bums, and shady characters hanging outside and in the parking lot. Sidewalks are littered. The heavy smell of marijuana is in the air. I did not feel safe at all. Will not return to this property any time soon.

Excellent breakfast and wonderful hospitality by all the workers. They were very friendly and helpful. Coffee 24/7 in the lobby, along with lemon water, was a nice touch! They went above and beyond! Great bed as well!

The staff was super helpful. We needed an accessible room, and the staff went out of their way to find a shower chair and to check with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Breakfasts were excellent and varied, with no two days alike during our three-day stay.
