Check in was smooth and the room was ok. Superficially, it was clean, but the furniture, carpet, and upholstery was quite worn and stained. It took over 3 days to empty the overflowing trash can in the hall. I feel the additional $5 a day for parking was quite excessive considering there is ample parking. I was approached twice in the parking lot for money by people circling in cars, so if I'm paying extra for parking, I'd expect better security on the outer lot.

Stairwell hand rails and carpet are filthy. The hallway had a pile of BADLY soiled linings outside a room from Saturday morning until I left Sunday morning.

A great place for overnight stays. If you're looking for a pool, continental breakfast, etc. it's not for you. A very nice room with clean bathroom, comfy bed, kitchenette, mini-stove, full fridge, microwave, tv, and even dishes. Friendly staff. Easy parking but not free ($5 per night). Nearby restaurants.

the gentlemen that checked me in was incredibly polite and professional; the room was immaculately clean. Walmart you can walk to. Lots of eats in a 3 minute drive. However the 5.00 parking fee is absolutely buttramming your customers; just make the f’in nights stay 5 dollars more, duh. Because of that you get 1 star. Your GM should resign or be fired. Stop screwing people. The girl in the morning was equally polite and professional; give them the 5.00 from every customer and pay them more. Contact me when you’ve fired your gm.

Terrible. Rude and can believe its 75.00 a night for a 3lb dog. Not refundable and not a deposit. RENT. Also asked for coffee they said i had a coffee pot in my room. Asked,for creamer told me to go to walmart. They waited til i made a non refundable reservation before they told me about the dog. Then said i should have read the fine print,betyer

I was optimistic with the reviews that it was a nice venue that would be clean. That wasn't the case. The first room has a roach on the floor and other debris. The second had a dirty fridge and mold on the restroom. The phones in both rooms did not apply to have been touched. As for the facility it was a pet friendly but non smoking, but the elevator smelled like a skunk room.

This hotel was so dirty when we checked in the bathroom smelled like urine when I picked up the lid of the toilet there was urine in the toilet the floors were sticky and when I went to complain the receptionist didn’t seem to care she said it was still early for check the towels were also dirty the kitchen are was also dirty they had a dishwasher that was left dirty the microwave had a bad smell if I could rate a 0 I would when I asked for an ice the staff gave me a used bag of ice that was opened and they said housekeeping found it in another room I was floored

Our room was filthy - the coffee maker hadn’t been cleaned in quite sometime… in addition to the disgusting water reservoir, there was scorched-on coffee in the bottom of the carafe. There was bacon grease splatter all over the coffee maker and the rest of the kitchenette. There were stains on the couch cushions and food debris on the floor under the pullout couch. Then there was the smell - I was hoping to have gone nose blind to it overnight, but I smelled it just as strong this morning when I woke up. I was disappointed in a national brand being in this state. Brought it to the attention of the desk clerk this morning upon checkout, but was given the reason of the housekeeping manager being on vacation for the state of this room.

Stayed one night. The room wasn’t properly clean from previous occupancy.Restroom wasn’t mopped. The chair and table has left over rice grains. The toilet wasn’t flushing properly and the shower head wasn’t cleaned and there was no proper pressure, also the cabinets in the restroom were dirty, was gonna use the fan but changed my mind.. The fridge and kitchen counter were clean although. Would not recommend the place.

This property is infested with cockroaches! They moved our room down the hall and across the hall but the new room was also infested with cockroaches. I have stayed at a lot of hotels and have NEVER seen cockroaches.

When I arrived the place did not look like its pictures. My room 107 was infested with roaches. I’ve never stay at a hotel off this site that has had roaches, so I’m definitely disappointed. I will not be staying there and definitely wouldn’t recommend ANY one staying there until they get all that under control with the roaches. If they ever do!

The AC in room 343 is extremely noisy. The bathtub faucet sounds like there is water in the line making it very loud. There wasn't bedding in the room for the sofa bed. I was able to get bedding from the front desk, but it would make more sense to have it already in the room, especially as I made a reservation for 3 people.

Hotel was ok. Smell of pot throughout the building and in the room. It is located in an industrial park area. However, room was clean. Had some kitchen utensils, 2 knives, 3 spoons, etc. Enough for 2 people. We prefer staying at places that have a separate seating area, and the kitchenette was a plus.

When I arrived and checked in the first room was not cleaned yet. The desk clerk quickly assigned me another room and apologized. It happens so no big deal. Room was pretty big, bed was comfy and closet was huge. They even have a laundry basket in the event you want to wash clothes. My favorite part was the full size fridge. The mini fridge at other hotels is never adequate but I was able to get a few things from the grocery store so I wasn’t eating out the whole time. The only things that could’ve been better was a bigger tv and the ice maker didnt work so well. Neither were a deal breaker though. As for cleanliness, my only complaint was there was red nail polish on the chair, nightstand and desk. Originally, I thought it was blood so at least it was just nail polish. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

This place is very accommodating to pets, as long as you don’t step out of line. Rose, who really should take a class in hospitality, will be as rude as humanly possible. When she called out my mistake, I attempted to apologize and she wasn’t having it. She was extremely dismissive and rude. I tried to have a conversation with her and she walked away and wouldn’t come out from behind the wall of the office to talk to me. The young man who checked us in was nice, it’s too bad the experience with Rose overshadowed that.

The property manager was really rude after they let me run my card for a security deposit then says oh no sorry we can’t take that card said ok want my Refund cause the room was paid she got real snotty told me get a hold of the 3rd took my payment now the 3rd party said it is the hotel manager who is refusing to give me back my money

The stay itself was fine, the room for the cost was more than adequate however, after I left I was expecting to see my 100 dollar deposit returned to me minus the two bottles of water that were charged to my room. It was returned in a timely manner and then the very next day I was charged an additional 176.00$ for no reason what so ever! Is my information not secure? How am I charged again after getting my deposit back? What type of loose financial idiocy is happening there? I called and they had no answers except that they would notify the manager. Meanwhile, I have an over draft fee from my bank and an inability to pay one of my bills due to their negligence. And a possible response after the weekend. Irritated doesn’t even begin to describe the inept treatment of my bank card information. Who do you think you are to mess with peoples finances? Are you going to cover my late fees from taking money not authorized for you to do? Will sonesta be covering my over draft fee??

When checking in, there was a shift change happening. The employee at the front desk was not ready to start her shift, the person that left did not leave any notes or set her up for a successful shift, so she wasn't able to check us in right away. The first room we were assigned to wouldn't unlock, so we had to go get new keys for a different room. The second room was disgusting. The bathroom sink was clogged, there was a hole in the bathroom door, the bathtub was dirty, there was trash lying around, there was hair and debris in the bed, the clock was broken. We reluctantly stayed the night there. The next morning we called the front desk to let them know of our experience and get a different room for our final night. The 3rd room was a little better, there was still hair in and around the shower, the phone didn't work, and there was a smell, as if something, or someone, was dead in the hotel. There was never any follow up or, at the very least, an apology. Overall, guest satisfaction and cleanliness need way more focus. This was a very disappointing, uncomfortable and inconvenient stay.

The bed was comfortable but besides this, it was a highly disappointing experience. 1) We were HIGHLY disappointed by the fact that the property misrepresented itself on hotels.com and it appears does this routinely. 2) We arrived expecting the free breakfast that their website promised. We were told they always get mistaken for their sister property across town with this(with no apology or credit after making that statement), 3) There is a $5 per night parking fee that the site does not explain will occur (and it should be noted, there is no real security on site we could see a homeless encampment right outside the hotel back gate that is open) 4) They hold a $85-$100 deposit for 1 night when other properties of the same caliber charge $20/ night. 5) water pressure is low on the shower, key building door handles are broken and the staff is unfriendly and uncaring to any concerns you have. There is a general “just deal with it” mentality by them. They need to be more transparent and provide a receipt at the end of checkout, which they also did not do or offer. We will NOT be staying here again and discourage anyone passing through on short term stays to. We recommend you go to Hampton Inn or a known national chain next time you’re in town for quality, customer service and accuracy in advertising. Btw, this is the Sonesta Simply on Menal St. in Albuquerque. Make sure you pay attention to the street when booking. DONT book this one!

What a nice surprise! Super clean, hands on management making sure everything is in good shape. Comfortable room with seating, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker. Great breakfast in the morning: eggs, sausage, waffles, toast, muffins, cereal, yogurt, juice, coffee and I'm probably forgetting something. Will definitely stay here again!

This hotel is convenient for us, YMMV. It's in a light industrial area. There is a Walmart and a coffee shop very close by. Applebee's is up the street, Rudy's BBQ and Milly's are within a mile. There are a number of auto mechanics in the area. It's 5.3 miles to Old Town. The BioPark is a comparable distance. The hotel is set back from the street, so there is very little road noise in our street-side, first floor room. Kitchen is furnished for 2 people. Plenty of pans. Full-size fridge, microwave, 2 burner ceramic stove top, dishwasher, garbage disposal. Water pressure is very high. Bed is comfortable. The on-sit laundry has reasonable, top loading, machines.
